Update: Alright... this one's on me. After going back and creeping on Rollo's Seafood photos on Yelp, I realized I played myself a little. There was a picture of folks sitting around a table enjoying a full-on seafood feast, and my brain immediately went, "Oh nice... lunch spot." So I roll up ready to order and sit down... only to discover there are exactly zero dining facilities. Cue the confusion. Took a closer look at that photo later and--yep--that's somebody's house, not Rollo's. Pretty safe bet those folks bought their seafood there and took it home like responsible adults, instead of assuming it was a restaurant like I did. So if you're heading there, just know: this is a take-it-home-and-do-it-right kind of place, not a sit-down joint. Lesson learned... and honestly, still worth the stop. read more

Looking for bulk raw oysters near Milton. Rolos comes up on every search. Go by there and they tell me they don't sell them in months that don't have an "r". This does not make them a great place for oysters. Said they were afraid of the liability. read more

Well, the kids were coming over to have a mullet dinner with hush puppies corn on the cob, coleslaw, fresh French bread, etc. Unfortunately, when we got to Joe Patty's after standing there waiting for a number to be called we were told they have absolutely no mullet. We were going to cancel our fish fry, but even though Rollos doesn't open until 10 AM, I tried to call them at 8 AM, and this extremely nice man answers the phone, Rollos swooped in and save the day. This is not the first time! And everyone there is just so incredibly nice. There was a lady in training when we got there who seem to be getting flustered trying to understand everything. Lots to choose from. Prices seemed fair. The lady waiting on us could have been friendlier. We bought shrimp and they were outstanding.

Rollo's was my last pit stop before leaving Milton. My sister had requested shrimp so my friend was going to pack up a small cooler and take it with him as checked luggage on the flight. (FYI - in case anyone else is doing this, apparently Delta won't allow you to do this, shrimp has to be packed in dry ice and not with loose ice cubes.) The entire week we were in the area, we encountered nothing but super nice service - it was ubiquitous. The only place that we weren't greeted with friendly service was here, which was too bad. Poor lady looked like she was having a day that was just pure ech ee double toothpicks. I hope she has a better day. Nevertheless, my brother who inherited the shrimp that couldn't fly reported it was excellent and the prices were very decent. read more

I go by Rollo's almost every Friday to get my fresh grouper or shrimp. Everything is fresh and delicious! Good prices too!

Rollo's is a mini seafood market that's stocked well with lots of local seafood freshly caught: mullet, snapper, catfish, several types of shrimp, oysters, blue crab and more. The staff is knowledgeable and quick. Prices are great on most products. They also have a frozen section featuring gator, boudin balls, and some other local / Cajun type foods in addition to the various batter mixes needed for a fish fry. Great fresh seafood shop. Friendly staff and fresh offerings. They steam you up a quick delicious lunch. I'm so glad we have a spot in town for fresh seafood. There used to be a place right down the road, but the punch in the face from clean chemicals upon entering was a major turn-off. The few times I purchased from that now out of business shop, the fresh seafood had a background taste of cleaning fumes. Yuck! Rollo's is doing everything right.
