Worst customer service I've ever had in my life Yesenia- was beyond rude was not helpful When I was checking out i Specifically asked to have both receipts one email and one print out however she made the mistake of only giving me my print out receipt, then when I said I need my email receipt she said " Are you seriously gonna make me do this" I replied saying yes since I specifically asked for it and the mistake of not doing it was not on me not telling her I needed it at the beginning of the transaction. She continued to roll her eyes and say "are you serious...are you kidding me right now" and then continued to give me grief about it- when I asked her to return my items so that I may have emailed receipt. How is her mistake my fault?! Receipts are important Documents that we need for taxes. Plus when the paper receipt fades you won't return our items. It's not like I requested you to do this when there were people in the store. I was the only person in the store and once again your mistake not mine because I specifically asked for emailed receipt and a printed out copy. The best part is after she returned everything and gave me my email receipt I asked for my printed receipt and she said no because I have an email receipt. i love how everything i wanted was priced right in my world of price and values, and would have cost twice as much at the salon... i.e. Costmoprof gives reasonable prices and steep savings. they have a super wide selection of everything a stylist or beautician needs... from equipment like blowdryers to haircutter aprons to combs and brushes to nail polish to perm/dyes to all sorts of hair products. this is the Costco for hair professionals in a boutique-sized store on westwood blvd. note: they don't carry keratase or redken. the saddest thing of all, i found out the hard way at the counter that i can't buy anything there because i'm not a hair stylist nor do i own a salon. i had a feeling since everyone else was looked like they own a salon, but like every other time that my gut was correct, i ignored my instinct. weep. *leaves empty-handed and crest-fallen* there's a rather spacious lot in the back (enter from the left side of the building), so no need to fuss over street parking, especially during the No Parking rush hours. photos uploaded read more

The ladies who work in this store are lazy ! So I come in the store and I look around for a disinfectant container and I didn't find one so as I walk around looking confuse one of the ladies asked me did I need help finding something I said yes I'm looking for a nail disinfecting container and I asked for the plastic one and, the lady said no we don't have one so then I said will how about the glass disinfectant containers and she said we don't have that either I asked did she know what I meant she said yes & then recommended i go to sally because they might have some.then i proceeded to go buy other things out of the store because there were other things that i needed out of the store that I didn't bother asking for i figure id look around I decided to walk over to the disinfectant side anywaysJust to see what they did have ,and then I find the glass disinfect the container specifically for Nail implements I didn't say anything to the ladies at the register because they seem to be too busy having a conversation with one another other than maybe walking around the store to help me so instead I decided to leave this review telling whoever the store manager is that these ladies clearly spend most of their time working I understand it's slow I understand you guys are running out of things I understand it's a pandemic but you literally don't know what you have in the store . I get all of my hair products from cosmoprof. I had an issue recently with my purchase, I bought an eyeshadow palette that had a sale sticker for 16.99 and on my receipt it said 26.99. I'm just disappointed that they forgot to adjust the price, now I have to go back again and adjust it. Next time if you're shopping, make sure that you pay what it said if it's on sale. No, I did not realize Cosmoprof only sells to professionals. In an emergency*, sometimes you just get phone numbers from yelp and you don't have time to read reviews or stats. And no one told me when I called in advance to ask the largest size nail polish remover in stock. I was relieved they had a gallon size and told the woman on the phone that out of the 5 places I had called, Cosmoprof, was the only one selling such a large size. Perhaps that would've been a nice moment to say something about the only-selling-to-licensed-professionals thing. I take the gallon size, exactly like she said--$13.99--up to the counter to pay at approximately 12:15pm today. That's when the, oh, you don't have a license problem came up. Woops. I told her that I wished someone had told me that when I called. She asked me who I talked to and I said one of you 3 who are here working right now, since I called less than an hour ago. "Well, we can't assume that every person who calls here doesn't know..." she defended. I said, I'm just venting since I drove all the way over here in the heat. And the other girl shouted, "Turn the air on in your car!" I don't have air! I'm willing to accept blame for hurrying through yelp to try and solve a problem without studying reviews. But I cannot accept the behavior of your staff who: - Refused to even acknowledge that one of them had spoken to me on the phone. When your employees can't even be held accountable for answering a phone call, you've got problems. - Became defensive when I expressed regret at having wasted my time (with no help from them). - Ended our interaction with a rude, smart ass remark about air conditioning. I get better treatment from teens at fast food places. At the very least, I hope your manager will consider the cost-effectiveness of having 3 useless, rude employees working with absolutely zero customers in the store during the middle of the day. And to help others who may be scanning quickly, maybe some type of "Professionals Only" notation could be added to your yelp category or something. *Nail polish remover is known for its stain removing properties. This location is nothing special in comparison to other locations in LA. I don't really like this one because of the parking situation. There is metered parking in front but the busy restaurants next to it make it hard to get one. There is tandem parking in back but I've been trapped in by other cars before so I wouldn't recommend parking there. read more

Cosmoprof Westwood and any other locations are NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC please be aware before calling. Staff members only do what they were trained to do. Also Cosmoprof employees are not in any way in charge of Yelp website they have no control over that mostly its corporate office.
