I was a bit surprised by all the poor reviews about service here because the service we received was really great. Janie effin' sucks! I called to see if an order was ready for pick up she told me that she couldn't see if the order was ready and to call back when a manager was there. So i asked what time would a manager be there she proceeded to tell me that she couldn't tell me that information! I'm trying to give money to the company and she couldn't tell me when or how to pick up my product! Janie has got to do better this is unacceptable as a company! You, cosmoprov, must hire competent people that want to bring money to your company! Ordering off of Amazon is much much easier!!! read more

I recently accompanied a friend who is a salon professional and had NO idea this place existed so close to home. Only salon professionals are able to shop here, I learned. So, if you know someone, treat them to lunch or something and make an afternoon visit here while they're on their supply errand. It's near the Ross/Toys R Us shopping center, further back and not immediately visible. Friendly and helpful staff! Great selection of products and some fun and affordable deals I never would have expected on some of these higher end salon products! Able to help breast cancer awareness on several items purchased, which was even more shopping purpose besides saving $$$; there were some amazing deals too hard to pass up. Kendra, Bed Head, Joico, Ciate, O. P. I. China Glaze, Chi, Hot Tools, Etc. and the list goes on and on and on. I hope to return on my friend's next visit :) I can't imagine shopping at any other beauty supply store again and not cringe at their markups. I included a photo collage of a few items I found and able to get on this visit and compared them to the online prices I normally paid, unaware of the differences until now. Very unhelpful and snotty staff. Limited supplies. Went to return an item and the guy behind the counter was beyond rude.

I like the products although some of the products should have a lower price point due to competitive local and online deals. One star rating due to poor customer service from a new employee (unsure how to spell her name) Sarahy. Although she is a new employees she was unaware of the products the company sold and as this was addressed she became rude. She rang my product up with another customers. I'm furious because she didn't offer to reverse the transaction after she made the mistake. We asked for the manager or the managers number or card and Sarahy gave it but with a smug comment. Another employee Jocelyn who was not a Manager came to defuse the situation. She helped slightly. She gave her name and I asked for the other employees name but, could understand what Jocelyn said. Sarahy stated, "that's Sarah with a Y." Also with much attitude. I'm not sure who manages these ladies or why they were hired to represent this store but this is very poor representation. I work customer service and patient service for over 12 yrs and this display today was unexcusable. read more

After reading the reviews I should of know. I'm guest styling at another salon today and purchased a color remover that did not work. Went back to exchange it and was told they don't return chemical products. I then called corporate and they said this is a policy the DISTRICT MANAGER made up herself. Their corporate policy states that returns can be made with an original receipt which I had. The only helpful employee was Rocky who apologized a ton. The assistant manager insulted me by saying it wouldn't work on box color. I'm a professional with a license I don't use box color. Also a professional license is not required to work there. Stay away from this one and the Temecula one they are ran by same district manager. read more

Love this place all of the girls and young man that work here are very helpful and patient THEY ALWAY GREAT ME with a warm hello and I appreciate their kindness . I visit the store 2x a week for supplies and I am happy with my shopping experience. read more

All I have to say is that the staff at this location were all so welcoming and gave you such a nice greeting when u walk through the door. Very different than the temecula location. Paulina or was it Pauline, gave excellent recommendations and was beyond helpful with a smile to where you don't feel like a bother for asking questions. I'm so sad about this. I just moved to the area, this is the only cosmoprof around and my experience is always not good. They have frequently been out of the item I am there for. That aside there is a female employee that I always work with there who is rude, not helpful, and always makes everything a challenge. I was talking to one of my co-workers and she was just telling me about a run in with that same employee. It's at the point I want to try to figure out her schedule so I don't have to deal with her anymore. read more

Go somewhere else!!! The staff that works here don't know anything about the products that they sell. Sara E and Joselin were horrible. Sara became problematic when I questioned her ability to perform her job as her product knowledge was lackluster. Not knowing what products you are selling is not a good answer in a customer service based business. When I asked to speak to a higher authority, such as a manager or supervisor, I was told that they are off on the weekends. What business run effectively, especially on the weekend, without management supervision. To make a very long story short, they never once apologized and seemed to think that Sara's behavior was appropriate. How can you work and you don't know anything, but the cash register. Plus get an attitude with paying clients???!!!!! Oh and to add insult to injury, she rang up my sisters items onto my purchase!!! Wtf!?!! I just paid for everything not even knowing that my sisters items were included!!!! Once we realized what happened, we pointed it out. Once again she gave us nothing but attitude as if it were our fault that she can't even process my order correctly in the register.... Because of this entire situation, I just said forget it, took a picture of those two unprofessional people and left. UGH!!! read more

The staff is great, fast, efficient and always on top of their product knowledge. Amy, the assistant manager, is on top of it especially when my blow dryers go bust! All of her recommendations have been exceptional and thanks to her and her staff, they make my visits worth coming in for and allow me to leave stress free when it comes to figuring out color formulas and styling product picks! Everytime I come here, they're out of chi 20vol. It's been a few months or more since they've had it. Very frustrating. Stocking shelves could be done more. Because when I ask for something not seen on the shelf, they have in the back. Today they were out of another item that I've needed. As a hairstylist, coming here in between guests and not getting what I need due to low inventory, is again, very frustrating. read more

why hasnt this cosmoprof done anything about the shitty employees? ive came here rarely a few times in a few years and its always the SAME thing - disorganized and looks like stuff is never restocked, such unwelcoming employees that sound like they hate having to say hi. i never hear any of the employees put initiative to check on any customers including myself, yall are some really ungrateful people about your jobs and only making yourselves miserable acting like that all the time for no reason. give those jobs to people that actually appreciate it. read more

Ive been coming to this cosmoprof for several years now and one never had a problem with a single employee most of them are very knowledgeable and if they are not sure of something they make sure to get someone that does. Never had a problem returning/ exchanging. But there is one particular employee that is always rude, awkward and always has a bad look on her face and her name is rebecca. It was the day before Christmas eve and they were about to close (but we are all hairdressers in there we've all been through it staying after hours but we should never be rude just because you get slammed before closing especially right before the biggest holiday, a great worker always keeps their composer) it was her and young man working and they were ringing up everyone and there was a lot of people waiting to pay.. i had asked for something in particular and she had to go to the back before i could even say anything else like what certain color i wanted for it she was already heading to the back a customer tried to stop her and ask for help in a rudely harsh tone does not even stop to look at her tells her "I CAN'T I'M HELPING A CUSTOMER!" She comes back and in told her i wanted it in black she rolls her eyes and furious goes to the back to get it. Ever since then every time i go in there i never see her wearing her name tag maybe because she doesn't want people to get her name and complain about her. She makes me extremely uncomfortable every time i go in there i try to avoid her helping me. She lacks so much customer service and kindness. Other than that they always have everything i need. It's too bad this is the only cosmoprof near temecula. The manager Victoria is very kind and knowledgeable.
