The second gentlemen (the husband) greeted me as well and offered a cocktail, which I graciously accepted. Now, Miss. The lighting is magnificent and the decor is beautiful. The displays of the wigs, hair extensions, and the products are meticulously organized. They do have pop-up lash technicians and make-up artists. This was my first visit, but most definitely not my last. They made me feel as if I was at home. The vibe is relaxing and you're made to feel special and very attentive as you shop.

I follow Casey wherever she goes, and she currently works here. This place is very low key, though…read moreit's not junky or anything. It's a very clean salon. I only go to Casey so I'm only familiar with her work, but she's awesome. She does nails and is also an aesthetician so she also waxes and does facials. All her work is amazing, I've had everything from a full set of nails to a brow wax to a facial, it's all great. She's incredibly friendly and her prices are fair and she definitely knows what she's doing. I love treating myself to pedicures when it gets to flip-flop season as their pedicure chairs massage, so you get a bonus. In addition, there's also a couple girls who do hair (there's also others who do nails and another aesthetician too), though I've never been to any of them. Everyone seems incredibly professional though and everyone who's ever left the salon looks happy with their work. This place is very tiny so it can be hard to find, but it's worth it!

The aesthetician, Jessie is a lovely person and a joy to talk to while having the service performed. She was very helpful and pointed me in the right direction for other services I needed elsewhere. It is still too soon to know the results of the facial, but the process itself was very relaxing. I would recommend this location, as I didn't even know Merle Norman did more than makeup. I also will be back, even if facials aren't on special... and that is saying a lot as I am frugal as they come.

I am sorry to say that today I am not highly rating this business…read more I have been receiving services here for almost a year, and today was the worst. I had a 3:45pm appointment and was not assisted until almost an hour later. There was no compensation offered and not even an acknowledgment until at least 30 minutes after I arrived. If appointments are not going to be adhered to, then why have them? It should not matter if you're busy, that should not overstep an appointment. This was the second time I experienced this, as my last appointment was the same and when I checked out, the gentleman did not want to give me the $5 gift card I earned, on an email promo. Once I was finished, I went to pay. I had a $5 gift card from my last appointment, which I received from a discount text, that I had to prove I received, for $50 plus, services. I also received another text for a $5 discount if I received services of $50 plus. The guy that checked me out (same gentleman as before; I am assuming one of the managers) stated I could not use 2 discounts, I explained I only wanted the $5 card for my next visit, especially due to the almost hour wait and I still spent $100. He said he would not. At that very moment, I decided I would no longer patronize Milano Nail Salon in Germantown. When you consistently spend over $100 on nail services, IX monthly, there should be some consideration when appointments are not kept by the staff. I can say that Trang has ALWAYS been very welcoming and does a superb job and Emilee & Henry are great at their jobs. Respectfully Submitted, Sabrina Walker
