He explained the process in detail and what it was we were looking at since I had no idea. Booking the appointment was so easy and I was able to reach out with any questions I had before the procedure. They made me feel really comfortable and truly cared about my well being and made sure before proceeding that I was numb enough for the procedure to begin, and checked in on me throughout the process. The aftercare was simple to follow. I had to go back for my stitches, and I also got a full body scan and each time I was treated with care and support with anything I needed.

I had done a ton of reading on things it could be (I have a masters degree so I know how to do my research). I was told the clinic took my insurance (First Choice). I had my appointment and the MD spent maybe 15min at most with me, telling me things I already knew, only did a quick (15sec) look at my scalp, and said it's probably androgenic alopecia and offers a prescription to oral minoxidil and finasteride. Nothing special was done. I left the office and asked if there was anything I needed to pay and they said no. A month later I get a bill for $211! I call insurance and they tell me that since the MD billed under the diagnostic code for androgenic alopecia it wasn't a covered visit so instead of a $35 co pay I had to pay it all. They told me the billing code was for "moderate diagnostic methods at least 40min" which I do not agree was done. I feel this clinic should have communicated that such a common billing diagnosis wouldn't be covered by my common insurance. I understand that ultimately I should have checked with my insurance first, but I didn't know what diagnosis they would bill under. I will not be returning to this clinic.

Monique is a breath of fresh air from start to finish I'm extremely happy to have a stylist like her!!! She is extremely professional, genuine, patient, and most importantly slays hair (even 4 month quarantined hair, lol.) I really appreciate her attention to detail not only to my hair, but her steps to ensuring her shop is safe by social distancing, continuous sanitizing/sterilizing, and facial masks. By some fortuitous twist of fate, I saw a promoted post on IG for Amber's services, and followed her page. After seeing the variety of work she's done fantastically on others, I decided to take the leap for myself (also as kind of a "treat yourself" move). I'm on day 2 of the healing process, and Amber walked through all of the post-care steps with me after she had finished. She also was great at walking me through what would happen during the procedure, and what I could expect during and afterward. I only have one minor piece of feedback - it would've been nice to be reminded of the pre/post-care prep a week out or so; I totally forgot about the details by the time the appointment rolled around, so had to adjust my plans accordingly. But everything else was phenomenal! If driving there, I suggest giving yourself a 15-20 minute buffer to park and walk up to the office. Looking forward to seeing my fully healed brows in about 6 weeks, but I'm SO HAPPY with them already - they look how I've always wanted them to!
