I had FGS requote this year. FGS was slightly more expensive than the other quotes we got, but came recommended by my roofer and had good reviews. They also seemed to understand what I wanted better than the other companies I got quotes from, so I went with them on the deck job. They were able to start the project when I wanted them to and were done in a couple weeks. I also had them repair the woodwork on my house around the deck and repair an outlet that wasn't working (for an extra cost). After completion, the deck and other work look great and everything functions as new. I am very pleased and finally started using my deck for some outdoor griddling this past weekend. FSG did a great job and I would be very happy to use them again for other projects!

It was a full gut -- complete renovation with new everything: lighting, heated flooring, vanity, tub with handheld shower, and more. They were exceptionally knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. To prevent the family room from getting dirty, they covered the floors and furniture in the entire family room. They always came on time and were incredibly diligent in their work. What I especially liked about AVC Home Improvement is that they are the ones who are actually do all the work. They are not a company who contract out their work. We had additional requests during the renovation of our full bathroom: adding lighting for the tub/shower area, installing grab bars and heated flooring. AVC didn't hesitate to accommodate our requests. They also installed a new utility room sink for the washing machine, and relocated the washing machine so that it is now next to the dryer. That makes it so much easier for us. Their recommendations for the electrician and countertop people were also exceptional. The gentleman showed up about 20 minutes after I talked with him to apparently remind him he had an appointment. I explained what I needed to be done and he took a few notes down. After he left I forgot to ask when I will receive a quote, but I figured I would give them 4-5 days. 5 days later I did not receive anything, so I sent a follow-up asking when a quote will be sent. To this day I still have not received a quote and wasted my time with this company. Maybe they do good work, but they are not organized and also do not respond to a possible customer. I would not recommend them. Response to Hamed: I did not state any lies. We had an appointment at 9 am and I called you at 9:30, where you completely forgot and said you will be there in 15 minutes. You did show up about 15 minutest later, but only because I reminded you. There was no quote provided, and I did not request any electrical work done, so you are lying on your response.
