There is a restroom building with toilets but no running water. And a dumpster. That's it. Absolutely no shade out here but there is a good breeze. The guy at the desk was nice enough, but when we took our car load of luggage, four year old and 1 year old to what was supposed to be our room it was occupied. (It was late in the evening) We took our entire family and load back to the front desk and were given an apology, a free drink from a vending machine, and a key for another room. You also get a friendly owners (who have been married 51 years) who will call you to confirm if the motel is filling up, greet you with a smile when you get here, give you restaurant suggestions, and tell you about the (curious) Chinese Museum honoring the many, many Chinese workers who built the transcontinental railroad. My mom used to take me on trips to the Southwest when I was a kid and we stayed in AAA one diamond hotels which were basic and clean. This is that, AT THE SAME PRICE (nearly)!!
