This property is nothing short of phenomenal -- truly a million-dollar experience every time. We especially love staying in an inlet unit. While the Gulf views are absolutely gorgeous, there's something magical about the inlet in the early mornings. Watching the marine life and birds start their day while sipping coffee on the balcony is such a peaceful and unique experience that we look forward to year after year. Over the years, we've had a few very minor hiccups (as you'd expect with any long stay), but the Resort Rentals staff has always been kind, professional, and quick to take care of us. Their attentiveness and friendliness really set them apart. Traveling all the way from upstate NY, we wouldn't keep coming back for a decade if this wasn't truly worth it. Lands End is a slice of paradise, and Resort Rentals makes it easy to enjoy every moment. We couldn't recommend them more highly! PS: Travel tip - wake up with the sunrise for a good chance to see dolphins, manatees and cool birds in the inlet!

Sharing for anyone considering booking through Resort Rentals. I rarely leave reviews below 4 or 5…read morestars, but in this case, I felt it was important to share our experience. We recently stayed at Sunset Vistas in Treasure Island through a listing managed by Resort Rentals via Airbnb. While the condo had beautiful views and the on-site staff were kind, our experience with the management company left a lot to be desired. The unit was mostly clean but showed noticeable wear. There was dust in the kitchen, hairs in the bathtub, and the furniture was visibly aged. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and only three thin, worn beach towels were provided, which was disappointing for a beach rental. The main issue was the lack of hospitality and rigid, dismissive communication from Resort Rentals. We were traveling with two small children and had a pre-scheduled appointment nearby. Knowing we would arrive 1 to 2 hours before the 4:00 p.m. check-in, we asked if we could use guest parking or the pool while we waited. We clarified that we were not requesting early access to the unit. The responses were impersonal and unaccommodating. We were told they could "see our location" and that we needed to "plan accordingly." They reminded us that this was not a hotel, but even with that understanding, there was no effort to be helpful or courteous. Eventually, we were told to use public parking and call at 2 to check the status, though nothing could be guaranteed. We arrived around 2:35 and we were informed that the inspector still had not been to the unit. When he arrived later that afternoon, we were told at 3:45 that the air conditioning was not working and would not be repaired until sometime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. We were not able to access the unit until after 5:30. One bright spot was a phone conversation with Barbara from the company, who was kind, understanding, and helpful during that time. To their credit, the on-site front desk staff, who are not affiliated with Resort Rentals, were also very kind and allowed us to use the pool while we waited. Their warm and helpful approach was a stark contrast to the tone of the rental company. Then, less than 24 hours into our stay, we received a message asking if we could check out early due to a busy check-out day. This added to the overall feeling of being rushed and unwelcome, despite the high price point. For nearly $1,000 for a two-night stay, we expected a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. We understood it was not a hotel, but the lack of flexibility and dismissive communication made the experience frustrating. While we enjoyed the location and appreciated the help from the front desk, the AC technician, and Barbara, we would not book through Resort Rentals again.

I've been to the Caprice several times and will not return until pool rules are somewhat enforced. Please know, I enjoy families with children, just not families that are inconsiderate and management that looks the other way. It was at a point that myself and others did not use the pool. On the other hand, my unit was fantastic and the pool person (morning cleanup only) did a great job!

Only room complaint was you can hear the elevator everytime it goes up and down, but if you walk enough miles on the beautiful clean beach your head will hit the pillow and you will be so fast asleep you won't even hear it. You can see a smidgen of the Gulf from the balcony also!!! The pool was sparkly and clean but a tish cool for us. The staff was helpful and nice. The availability of luggage carts, grocery cart for hauling things up was so nice. Within walking distance to all our favorite restaurants...Skidders, Snappers, Baracuda, and Willys. Stay here you won't regret it.

Awesome stay! Highly recommended!…read more We needed a quiet, relaxing vacation where we could bring our dog. Island Paradise delivered. The couple who owns them is super nice and so helpful with our visit. The cottages are nice and you can tell some well-thought effort went into updating them. Everything there was quiet. The pool was nice and the tiki hut made for a nice place to chat with fellow relaxers. The beach is a short five minute walk. With a less-than ten minute walk, you're at John's Pass with shopping, restaurants and bars. We had planned on going to other places while visiting, but we barely left the radius around the cottages.

The villas are perfect for staying for a longer time and everything you could wish for in a kitchen is there. It is extremely clean, very beautifully decorated and just perfect. The hosts (june and Bill) are so friendly and helpful that we felt like family when we left. The other people staying there were also extremely nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. This was supported by the tradition that everybody staying there would gather for a glass of wine or a drink at around 5 in the afternoon in the tiki-hut. Even though we were the only ones with children we felt so welcome. I would love to go there again and I am sure that we would feel just as welcome the next time. We stayed in Villa Paradiso, which was the largest of the villas, but I also saw the inside of some of the other villas and they looked just as nice. The beach was a short 3 min walk from the cottages and John's Pass was around 5-10 minutes away when walking.
