We booked our condo here - despite never having been to the area - after reading all the positive reviews online. We were not disappointed in any respect. The property both inside and out is clean and cozy, and relatively well-maintained for a beach cottage where you expect some wear and tear. Everything looked just like the photos. No unpleasant surprises of any sort! From the moment you park your car in the sandy gravel parking lot, you feel a relaxed vibe, much like staying at your own friend's condo. Actually, it's better than that since you don't have to clean house on your last day. The tree-covered, winding walkways and shaded patios next to each unit are so inviting, you immediately want to throw on your bathing suit and relax outside, beer in hand. What a pleasant change from my past experiences at big resorts, where you can never seem to escape lots of people and sounds and you are always aware that you're just a guest among many. Three other couples/families were staying at 810 during our stay. All were very friendly, but for the most part we felt like we had the whole property to ourselves. Many folks spend their time out on the beach all day. Our kids (4 and 5 years old) preferred the pool, and we spent several hours in the pool each morning and afternoon. Some of my favorite aspects of Gulfside: - Floors, bathroom, kitchen were all spotless (and I'm super picky) - Furnishings seemed clean and in good shape - Loved the warm colors and décor, especially the unique wood ceilings - Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) right on the property - Full, functional kitchen, stocked with the basic equipment, just like home - Lovely pool and deck area with plenty of chaise lounges - One minute walk and you're on the beach! We especially enjoyed walking to Kooky Coconuts for ice cream and lunch (just two blocks away). We also hit most of the recommended restaurants in the area (best one was Guppy's). Gulfside has everything you need for a mellow, but fun time on Florida's Gulf Coast. Highly recommend this place!

We had the carriage house which is a small studio and beautiful just for two people for a few days. Since It was Halloween weekend, they left us a little bucket with Halloween candy and two T-shirts which I thought was a really nice touch. I highly recommend Sarah's Seaside. I spoke to Janet when making my reservation, she was wonderful and very helpful. They have lounge chairs on the beach with the great pillows, cabana (no charge) bikes if you want to ride also free, a washer and dryer if you want to wash your clothes, and yup free. Everyone is very accommodating. Staff a wonderful, Janet my contact at the resort cane by and introduced herself, showed us around. Overall a wonderful experience.

I was finally contacted by Amanda, a representative for Plumlee. The items in the condo were not fixed during our stay, but they were able to get the AC working when it went out. The fun and cute backyard was perfect for our family to enjoy a beachside fire, twinkle lights, shuffleboard, lawn games, kayak, paddleboards etc. It was fully stocked with everything you'd ever want for the beach - beach bag, umbrellas, chairs, toys, fishing poles, nets, floats etc. The free on site laundry and laundry supplies was such a generous offering. The cottage was clean, well kept, fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials and then some extra. We brought our Shiba Inu and he loved being able to watch out the back glass to see us at the beach! The back deck and views are magnificent. Our beds were clean and comfy. The shower had perfect water pressure for thick haired families like ours. The French bakery in front had the most delicious pastries and quiche offerings. We absolutely loved Tommy's on the Beach and can't wait to return very soon.

The pool and spa are clean with comfortable temperatures and there is plenty of pool deck seating. We have never grilled out there, but I've seen plenty of people making delicious meals using the common grills. I love sitting out on the balcony, listening to the waves, and watching people on the beach and at the pool. Of course, this is only when I'm not down on the beach or in the pool myself! There are plenty of places to eat nearby, some within walking distance and some a little farther. All the teenagers in our crew like to head down to Kooky Coconuts for occasional snacks, meals, and hanging out. This is where they go to get away from the grownups. It's a short walk, with good food and a fun vibe. The condo itself is very welcoming. Clean and comfortable is the highest compliment I can give a beach vacation spot. It's not fancy, but it checks all the other boxes. We keep coming back year after year!
