I am posting this review because I believe other consumers deserve an accurate picture of what a lease transaction at Corwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram can look like. On January 22, 2026, I leased a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn, VIN 1C6SRFFT3TN212585. I spent the better part of a day at the dealership. The vehicle was listed on their website at $56,044 eight days before I signed. The agreed vehicle value in my signed lease contract is $64,299.83. That is a $8,255 difference. Using the standard lease formula, the math works out to $221.37 per month in overcharge and $8,633 over the 39-month lease term. I have the archived listing with my VIN confirmed. I have the signed contract. The numbers are not ambiguous. At no point during the transaction was the selling price discussed or presented as negotiable. When I raised this concern with the sales manager, I received a voicemail citing the adjusted capitalized cost as the sale price. Those are separately defined line items in the Consumer Leasing Act Disclosures on page 1 of the contract. They are not the same number. I sent a formal letter with supporting documentation to the General Manager and the President of Corwin Automotive Group via email and USPS certified mail on March 12, 2026, requesting a response by March 20, 2026. No satisfactory response was received. I have since filed a complaint with the North Dakota Attorney General's consumer protection division. I have also shared this experience with local consumer media. I have no complaint about the truck itself. I love the truck. My complaint is about a transaction where the selling price was never disclosed, a documented discrepancy of $8,633 was responded to with misrepresented contract terms, and good faith attempts to resolve it were ignored. She really helped narrow down our options and get my soon pointed in the right direction. And that is hard to do with a teenager. UPDATE: To say I am disappointed in Corwin and its staff would be a massive understatement. I am appalled. Shortly after my initial review, the vehicle broke down. It is my firm belief that this was a pre-existing condition the dealership was fully aware of prior to the sale. The evidence was clear in the radiator reservoir fluid, yet Corwin conveniently performed a full system flush just before I took possession. I do not believe for a second that this was a coincidence; it was a cover-up. I attempted to handle this professionally, leaving countless messages for management, but was met with total silence. After being ignored for weeks, I was forced to have the vehicle repaired. It wasn't until I filed a BBB complaint that they offered a measly "goodwill payment" for towing and diagnostics--a drop in the bucket that still leaves me over $1,500 out of pocket. Only then did Corwin decide to speak to me--solely to deny responsibility. To make matters worse, their official response was pure gaslighting, claiming I "failed to cooperate" when I was the only one attempting to communicate for months. They hid behind my refusal of an extended warranty and claimed "lack of proof," despite the obvious signs of a pre-existing failure. The lack of accountability is staggering. They blamed me for not bringing the car to their shop, yet they ignored my offers to have it towed there or to their local Grand Forks branch. I sent them the diagnosis and waited weeks more for a response that never came. The vehicle broke down late September, but was taken to a shop until mid December so they had plenty of time to respond. I had no choice but to fix my car after being systematically ignored by three managers and my sales rep, Crystal. Do not trust them. I leased a brand-new Jeep and was only able to drive it for six days before the rear axle failed. For over two weeks, I have been getting the runaround just trying to get answers. I was initially told the soonest service appointment available was two weeks out and that the vehicle was "safe to drive." Being told a vehicle with a faulty rear axle is safe to drive is incredibly concerning and shows a serious lack of responsibility for customer safety. I was then told the replacement part would take two weeks to arrive, only to be told a week later that it would actually take another two weeks. Throughout this process I have spoken with multiple managers, and every conversation ends the same way -- being told I need to talk to someone else. No one seems willing to take ownership or provide real solutions. What is most frustrating is being told that this is "Jeep's problem" and not the dealership's, even though they are the ones who leased me a defective vehicle and are the point of contact for service. Passing the blame while the customer is left without answers is extremely poor customer service. Corwin has taken a serious turn for the worse in recent years. My experience purchasing a used vehicle from Corwin Honda in January 2022 was excellent, which is why I returned in October 2024--this time to Corwin Chrysler Jeep Dodge--expecting similar service. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Since driving the vehicle off the lot, I encountered multiple problems. I brought it back to Corwin twice for repairs and inspections, and both times I was reassured the car was fixed and in good condition. However, after a third issue arose, I took the vehicle to my trusted mechanic--who refused to test drive it due to safety concerns that were uncovered. A list of issues were discovered during the third fix; major issues included a coolant leak from the radiator and raw fuel leaking from the gas tank--serious hazards that could have resulted in a fire or serious mechanical failure. These problems were never disclosed or addressed by Corwin, despite their earlier inspections. Since then, I continued having less serious, but still bothersome issues. I understand minor issues can happen with used cars, but this vehicle was clearly unsafe and should never have been sold in that condition. The lack of transparency and integrity showed a complete disregard for customer safety and trust. Attempts to resolve the issue with multiple Corwin managers led nowhere--it was simply brushed aside. I've since traded in the vehicle at another dealership, taking a financial loss. I will not be returning to any Corwin dealership unless there's a significant improvement in their service and ethical standards. My Mother-in-law took her Chrysler 200 in to get the battery replaced and an oil change. She noted to the Service advisor that the battery wasn't holding a charge and she had to get it charged frequently to drive the car. When she picked up her vehicle, she had over a $900 bill for a new battery and oil change. They noted that they tried charging the battery for one hour and it failed. Corwin's customer service after the sale is horrible!! We purchased a 2017 Nissan Rogue with 36,000 miles on it in January. We found the car while looking online. Looked great. Price seemed fair. We set up an appointment with Dylan, a salesman there. We ask all the usual questions about the car's history. He says no accidents, and zero issues. Great! We did this deal while it was dark outside, and couldn't really inspect the car fully. A couple days later I look at the car closer and realize there is body damage. I ask Dylan about this, and if they're going to fix it since it was never disclosed at the time of sale. He says no. At this point I'm frustrated with him. Basically refuses to do anything about this issue. After a couple weeks we notice a loud noise coming from the feint end. First thought is bearing or CV. Ialso nitric an inside panel on the dash coming apart. I text Dylan asking if this is covered being that we had only had the car a couple weeks. No response for a week. Meanwhile the noise gets worse and worse, and the panel appears to be glued. He finally responds and tells me that they won't do anything about it. Refused to fix it. Then he tells me to take it to Nissan, another dealership. Might be covered under warranty. So I go to Gateway Chevrolet, and the process was awesome! They put me into a brand new car for a few days while they fixed the front end issues. But, we're still left with a car that has damage inside and out! I will never recommend anyone to Corwin, EVER!! I went to Corwin Jeep to place an order on a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L on 06/30. We struck a deal on a Summit. I turned my Jeep Gladiator in in good faith. They told me 8-12 weeks for delivery. I was ok with this and traded my Jeep Gladiator in. Corwin took possession of my Gladiator the next day 1 July 2021. 4 weeks after I had ordered I received my build sheet. The vehicle came in with no electronic differential. Did not take delivery. Not what I ordered. I went in on Sept 3rd to order a vehicle again. I was told the ordering was not ready for the 2022. It has been 2 months since I had a vehicle. Sales person called back and told me that Corwin would not honor there deal. See attached. I got a call from the GM and he said that they could now get full price and would not honor the deal. Stay away from the Corwin Auto Group. I have lost thousands on this deal that they broke. After that I took the time to check and see what was wrong with my car and it turned out it was just a dirty air filter, kinda impressed that these guys missed that on the inspection. Now this dealer is like any other, they wanna get you in the door sit down and screw you up the *** with 10 percent Apr PRE COVID. so right off the bat there's that and if I'm really honest here the purchasing process was not that bad once they figured out I'm not gonna be scammed on a USED CAR that's more than 5 years old. So I got my car and I go to leave. Now this is where it hits the fan. I go to leave and I get a warning my tps sensors (tire pressure sensors) go out not low. They fail. So I immediately back it into the service bay I just drove out of and tell them this. They are very hesitant and don't wanna touch the car today. They tell me just drive it, we were in a very cold snap at the time so they thought maybe when it warms up they'll work. Well of course they didn't so I call them a week later and ask to have my sensors fixed and they agree they will take care of them and I'll be covered, get an appointment and I arrive just to be told that they don't actually have the proper tech to fix this. How professional a dodge dealer can't fix a tps sensors wow. What kinda clown technicians do you hire?? So I of course never get my sensors and a month or so later I needed to get an oil change. So I make a appointment and I arrive sit in the waiting room and I'm told it'll be just a short wait...3 HOURS LATER my oil is changed. 3 hours 3 horrible hours in that terrible dealer and on top of it they don't even keep nice dodges in the show room. I paid $150 for the maintenance check. then they called the guy who I was trying to buy the vehicle from and bought the vehicle. so not only did I pay $150 for this maintenance check I no longer can purchase the vehicle because now they are buying it. I understand they do what they have to do to have business but it's completely unfair to take my money and the vehicle I was interested in. Would not recommend buying online or if you are not local.... I purchased a vehicle from Corwin in March online. I worked with Crystal, she was great in the beginning at getting the paperwork set up, inspection done- told me the two issues that needed to be fixed, and confirmed the vehicle would be ready in 1 week. I bought sight unseen and had to fly to Fargo to pick-up this vehicle. I confirmed with her numerous times that the inspection items would be completed and the car ready for pick up on the agreed upon day. Yes. When I arrived in Fargo, again after confirming the day before the vehicle would be ready, the vehicle we indeed NOT ready. She was very disorganized, tried to say the car wasn't ready after I had just paid for an airline flight to Fargo. The car wasn't even at the dealership when I got there, nor ready to go. When she showed me the car it had not been detailed- inside or outside, the gas tank was on E, and she said one of the items from the inspection didn't get fixed due to a delayed part. This delayed my pick-up by almost 3 hrs! The whole point of buying ahead of time is for a quick pick up! However, no problem on the delayed part, they agreed to ship me the part and pay in full for the labor. This did get done with no issues. Great. Two weeks later my mechanic found the second inspection item Corwin claimed they fixed upon pick up was not fixed and no one from Corwin mentioned a thing. I reported it and they again said they would pay for it and requested I send them the estimate. Now, here is where I went wrong and assumed they were using that as budgetary and not actuals. The actual labor and parts were $500 MORE than the estimate but Corwin only paid the estimated cost and now refuse to pay the actuals. So, I am now out $500 for something that should have been taken care of before picking up this vehicle and hours of time wasted due to them being disorganized, not backing their inspections or confirming that vehicle was ready. I am sure they are great to work with locally but I would not recommend buying from Corwin if you are out of the area. Make sure you get proof of inspection if buying a used vehicle from Corwin. It was truly the most ridiculous buying process I have ever seen and I am very disappointed anyone would allow business to be done this way. I was just here May 2022 and had an excellent customer service/repair experience. Dave C was so delightful and helpful. I thought I had a transmission and an oil leak. It turned out to be an oil cooler leak. The transmission was fine. They gave my van a full going over. They had the parts in stock. In by 9, out by 4 for less than originally quoted. I have had multiple bad experiences with Corwin Jeep service department in Fargo, ND. They are unorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent. * On two different occasions I dropped my Jeep off the night before an appointment and I put the keys in the drop box envelope with instructions. First, they called the next morning and asked me if I had an appointment. ???The next time, I got a text saying we are sorry you missed your appointment. ??? Both times I had to call them back and tell them I had an appointment and then it was, "Oh yeah, I see it now." ??? *I waited weeks for them to call me back when a part came in. I finally called them, they said "oh, the part just came in today but we can't get you in for two weeks." I made the appointment and the day before I brought it in, I got a text, "Your part just came in." So the advisor on the phone lied about the part. He also forgot what I had called about after he "checked" to see if the part was in. *My son bought a new vehicle from Corwin last summer. Anytime he needed to contact the salesman, he would not answer texts or phone calls. When my son called the general manager, he would leave multiple messages without any reply back. If I could I would give my experience a -10. I'll start from the beginning. Brace yourself it's a bit lengthy. I first made a appointment online to look at a vehicle. I get there and he flat out said I am busy with a client right now so I am going to give you to ...... (I don't want to put the one new guys name because he was nice). This was after I had a text and email Confirmation from them about my appointment with him) The new salesmen said "that's weird he is our top Salesman and I'm not sure why he would do that" the car I wanted to see was gone. Salesmen said "oh I bet that's why he passed you on to me because it was sold. I looked over the original one was at his desk with no clients and on his phone. I felt like a POS that wasn't worth speaking to. The salesmen was nice and helpful. There was some safety issues (minor) in car I ended up getting but they had me bring it in next day. I was told it was looked threw, all looked good and issues fixed. Literally got in my car and nope not fixed. He had Me come in again. Ok fine. Nope not fixed. Was given the run around about not having communication with others there. Not my problem. And being this big of a company it shouldn't be a on going thing. I say that because I was told this on 3 different occasions. I was called a few times to set up a appointment to get fixed AGAIN. I missed them and returned 3 times with no response. I was then told I would be called the following Monday right away. Nope. Not at all. I text salesmen again and was told Someone would be calling me. Yes he did and now I'm sitting here waiting for it to be fixed at the wholesale Corwin right next to the one I purchased it at. One salesmen was clearly frustrated and said loudly "Jesus fucked Christ this computer is a piece of shit." And some other one burped a loud yet slightly impressive if he was a college student at a bar and I'm about 15 feet away from him. Nothing blocking me from him so he knows I am here. No other customers are. But before this all happened I first saw a car at the wholesale location and when my daughter and I walked in there were salespeople everywhere eating, on their phone, rude and very unprofessional. The salesmen I got there was a young nice kid. We got in the car for my kid and there was a swastica melted in the steering wheel. You did read that right. Swastica. Corwin is A HUGE company - they could not ever tried to fix that? I was disgusted. While we were checking it out the salesmen just took a phone call without even being away from us. It was clear he had no time for us or something. I have been in customer service industry for 26 years. I have owned a business for 14 of those years. If you don't have have customer service you have nothing. This company should be 100% ashamed and embarrassed but this. I should have never come here. I regret it and now stuck with car rapidly falling apart. It's been one week of owning it today. I am aware used cars have issues. But when I ask it to be looked at and willing to pay for that part of the service - and to fix what needed to be if they find anything then to be told how many times that it was done why wouldn't they do it? I'm a single mom who used all the money I had and finance the rest to depend on them be honest. Like I said I would have paid to get what was needed fixed after they fixed what should have been done in first place. My initial encounter with them was as expected with a car dealership. Dylan was very friendly and easy to work with. I ended up trading my vehicle in and it all worked out great. We ended up buying a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ. On December 9th. We came up from Minot so it was about a 4 hour trip back. When we had about an hour left the check engine light and traction control came on so I messaged Dylan, and he got right back to saying he would call me first thing in the morning which he did. He apologized and said he was sorry the techs didn't do a 100,000 mile tune up like they should have. So that wasn't exactly what we wanted to hear but in the end Corwin agrees to pay for 1 1/2 hours of diagnostic work to figure out what was going on. It was towards the end of the day and I hadn't heard back from the local Chevrolet dealership about a day they could look at it, and Dylan hadn't called so I called him because I now have no working vehicle, and I have 3 small children all still in carseats and I needed to take them to school and daycare, and I live 15 miles from work in Minot. Dylan answered and I told him how I needed a vehicle. He said he was sorry, but there was nothing he could do about a vehicle because we live 4 hours away, and if I lived in Fargo they would just give me a car to drive while mine was getting fixed. I understand that, but unfortunately that wasn't the case so before I got too upset I said I would just call Ryan to see when they could look at my vehicle. I forgot to mention that I did purchase the extended warranty and they said as soon as the diagnostics was done depending on what was wrong with it my extended warranty would cover it and a vehicle while mine was getting fixed. Well my vehicle couldn't get in until Wednesday. I called Dylan back and asked what I was suppose to do about a vehicle for the next 4 days he said again he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. He talked to the sales manager Jordan, and they were not willing to pay for a rental until this got figured out so I was extremely upset at this point. I had driven a vehicle off the lot and didn't even make it home, and now I am out a vehicle because I traded mine in. Dylan reminded me that I didn't just drive it off the lot I drove it 4 hours home. Apparently if you drive it 4 hours home and something goes wrong you are out of luck! He also reminded me that I signed an As Is contract and when I test drove it it was working perfectly fine. He also told me for a second time that he was sorry that the techs didn't do their job by doing the tune up because they probably would have caught this. So he blamed what was wrong with the vehicle on the techs, but really he should have made sure everything was done before we picked up this vehicle. I have never had such terrible customer service. We never heard from Dylan until Wednesday when my vehicle was suppose to go in. I was done talking to him so my husband did all the talking, but Dylan did apologize and he did go home sick so I thought okay I will give them another chance to redeem themselves. It can only go up from here right? Wrong! Dylan was out the next week, and my vehicle never got looked at until that Friday. So now we are on the 19th of December and the Chevrolet dealership said it's definitely the lifter. They ordered the parts, and they just need the inspector from the warranty company to come. They were going to be there by the 21st at the latest. I asked about my warranty covering a rental for me, and they said the warranty company will not cover that until the inspector approves everything. Dylan failed to mention this, and Ryan Chevrolet said I should ask Corwin if they can get me into something until the warranty kicks in. I told them this would probably not be happening because they already shut me down once. Well Wednesday came and went and Ryan apologized, but said the inspector never showed. The inspector was now suppose to show by Thursday. So I'm getting antsy because it's getting close to Christmas and we were traveling to see family...I called Corwin to speak with Justin Dietz the sales manager Dylan's was working with. After leaving several messages the receptionist finally left him a message and he got back to me. That also ended up being a mess because he said he would pay for 250 for a car rental...which turn out only gets you a full size vehicle for 2.5 days...I tried getting ahold of him again with no luck. He never called me back so there was no chance he would ever pay that 250 he promised because his word meant nothing. I have never had a bad experience here, I want to start out with that. They have excellent customer service. But when I bought my jeep, I was under the assumption I would have more room for the infant seat, I do not have the adequate space and can not sit in my own front passenger seat and can not put it behind the driver seat. Now, I am unable to get into a bigger vehicle because they over priced the vehicle and I will have quite a bit negative equity. I need this upgrade for the comfort and safety of my family and myself. I bought my "new to me" vehicle from these guys about 3 days ago. Just yesterday I noticed what I thought was a scratch in my front window.Upon further inspection & doing some research I've concluded it's in fact a small crack(my fingernail"catches" on it).It's on the inside of the window. I didn't notice it right away as it was getting darker out & its hard to see it then. I contacted Corwin regarding this matter & was told that if it's on the outside they may be able to do something with it but since it's on the inside they won't do anything about it. I understand that buying a used car has some pitfalls bit this car was supposedly had a 120ish point certified inspection! I feel kind of stupid for not checking everything out myself before I took it home. Not only is there the scratch/Crack I also found 3 dings that weren't disclosed either. We were told 1 hour for an oil change, over 2 hours and the car hadn't been touched. We were not advised of any delay. We expressed our disappointment. Their response? Too bad, wait longer or bring it back later. The staff was rude, and it was obvious they did not care. No masks either. They refused to offer any compensation (I believe an apology and a free oil change would be fair). There was no manager to speak with. We are currently looking to purchase a new vehicle, and this time they will NOT be getting our business. Terrible service! read more

I can't give it 0 stars although that's what they DESERVE!!!So we bought a car from corwin, after the ruined a vehicle of ours, by cheaply fixing a major issue, the issue now is with Hayden salesperson and Roy from collision repair, our car was dropped off on a Monday so we could have it back by Friday so then after they lied to us and some more crap it gets brought over to get fixed at collision repair, THEY LOST MY CAR FOR 3 DAYS!!!! It's got brought over to Collision on WEDNESDAY, so we definitely didn't get it back by Friday, we wouldn't get it back till the following week, and they had the audacity to say they weren't gonna fix the vehicle when it was part of the SALES AGREEMENT!!! Have a 2017 dodge that I dropped off for repair. This is a company vehicle with 600 miles on it. The customer service in the repair section is so bad it's comical. Basically an attitude of we will get to it when we get to it. The shift sensor was bad and there were two other issues that generated the check engine and break light on. When we picked it up the explained a rodent ate through the wiring. Fast forward two months and the same issue happened. Took it back, same customer service issue. Stood around for 15 minutes waiting on the guy that was called for over intercom to show up. He took the keys and basically said we will get to it whenever we can. Terrible vehicles and customer service. Probably would never buy a dodge from this store or one in general because of the service. The parts ended up being $800 for a 2017 still under factory warranty. I asked why we still needed to pay and they said because an animal was eating the wiring. I asked for the part and they explained they couldn't give it to me. Sounds questionable at best. read more

They epitomize the stereotypical used car dealer - so be ready to protect yourself and trust nothing that they say. Its not the lies that are the problem, but the half-truths. 1) Do not buy unless you have a local mechanic ready to check it out (out of towners beware. 2) Do not trust their statements of vehicle condition, even if their shop checks on something that cropped up during your test drive. 3) Extended warranties have a policy that any failures within 500 miles are not covered because it's pre-existing. And this policy is not stated until you try to use it. The sales team will try to sell you this warranty as an answer to any issues with vehicle condition, but they won't tell that's not what the warranty is for. They may even tell you you can get things fixed under the warrsnty, then cancel it after the work is done. They do have good inventory, but just be ruthless in protecting yourself, and take your time signing ANYTHING even if they describe what you're signing - they'll be very nice to talk to as they omit crucial details in their description. read more

Was happy with my experience there on 4/7/2018. First contacted Corwin while sitting at another dealership in Grand Forks, things were so bad there while sitting there I called Corwin. Spoke with a dealer named Dylan on the phone, told him what I needed, what I wanted to spend and asked if it was worthwhile to take the 72 mile drive down. It was! From the get go I was not put in a pressure situation to buy or even finance with them. We finally agreed on a price for a Jeep that I thought was fair, wanted a little lower but was under the top of what I was willing to spend so overall I am happy with the price. Specially seeing as how it was a better trim package and engine and less money than I would have if I stayed in Grand Forks for the Jeep. Once we had a price set I met with each department and again, no pressure to buy extended warranties or accessories or even to finance with them. I was asked once "Can you give us a chance?" and that was it. Overall happy and would buy from them again. read more

Bought my car from them in June 2020. Told them a couple days after I bought the car that there was a couple speakers blown and they said they'd take care of it. I called 15+ times and never heard back. Finally they said they'd leave used car managers a note and they'd call me. Now I finally asked to speak to the GM. GM told me there's no proof (I have texts with the information in them). He told me they won't be taking care of the issue since even though I called 15+ times I should have just come in. Won't ever be buying from them again and I'm baffled at how rude the GM was at the end of the call. Buy a car with blown speakers and let them know and they'll pay for "some of it". I wouldn't have bought it I'd known this and returned the car within my 7 day grace period. Seems to me like they elongated the process just long enough so they could say screw you. If I could rate 0 stars i would. They will over charge charge you and push services on you saying you need them for a certain mileage when nowhere in the manufacturer mileage services does it says it needs to be done. Got told a service had to be done on my 20,000 mile car that doesn't actually need to be done until 150,000 miles. Also tried charging $40 for a tire rotation when I've always gotten it free with an oil change at other dealerships and car shops. Astronomical prices for shit services. Take your car somewhere else. read more

Had multiple horrible experiences with this dealer. Bought a 2 year old 2014 Ram truck from them with 24,000 miles on it. Was told when I bought it that I have the balance of the 100k powertrain warranty. In the past 18 month the truck has been back to the dealer 5x for different powertrain issues and I've had to pay out of pocket for each one. Every time something goes wrong, I'm told the 100k warranty is only good for the original owner. I've been charged for work that is done under a recall; and only got the bill dropped after I complained that the work was on a recall. I'll never go back to this dealer again. read more
