Quick summary with a detailed explanation in attached pictures: I purchased a Chevy Blazer from Corwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and was lied to, gaslit, treated disrespectfully, told to go to a Gateway Chevrolet for questions, and talked down to by both the salesperson and manager all over a situation that would not have been a big deal if they owned their mistakes and apologized instead of doubling down on the lies and disrespect.

    Jon B.

Corwin's customer service after the sale is horrible!! We purchased a 2017 Nissan Rogue with 36,000 miles on it in January. We found the car while looking online. Looked great. Price seemed fair. We set up an appointment with Dylan, a salesman there. We ask all the usual questions about the car's history. He says no accidents, and zero issues. Great! We did this deal while it was dark outside, and couldn't really inspect the car fully. A couple days later I look at the car closer and realize there is body damage. I ask Dylan about this, and if they're going to fix it since it was never disclosed at the time of sale. He says no. At this point I'm frustrated with him. Basically refuses to do anything about this issue. After a couple weeks we notice a loud noise coming from the feint end. First thought is bearing or CV. Ialso nitric an inside panel on the dash coming apart. I text Dylan asking if this is covered being that we had only had the car a couple weeks. No response for a week. Meanwhile the noise gets worse and worse, and the panel appears to be glued. He finally responds and tells me that they won't do anything about it. Refused to fix it. Then he tells me to take it to Nissan, another dealership. Might be covered under warranty. So I go to Gateway Chevrolet, and the process was awesome! They put me into a brand new car for a few days while they fixed the front end issues. But, we're still left with a car that has damage inside and out! I will never recommend anyone to Corwin, EVER!! Not sure how they are in business if they treat their customers this way!

I went to Corwins after I had a terrible experience with Lithia in Grand Forks.

Two-Part Review - Sales & Service…read more This is a two-part review based on my experience purchasing a 2021 TRD Pro in June 2024 and my ongoing service experience. Sales Experience (4/5) When I came in, I knew exactly what I wanted. The truck had only been on the lot for about a day, and I came prepared with a significant amount down. I thought that might help with negotiating, but eagerness + a rare model doesn't exactly create leverage. Lesson learned. Financing and management were solid. The salesperson was newer and didn't know much about the truck, so I ended up educating him a bit. No hard feelings -- everyone starts somewhere -- but as most people know, buying a vehicle isn't usually anyone's favorite process. Overall, I'd call sales a 4 out of 5. Service Experience (5/5) This is where they've really earned my business. I purchased the prepaid service package and have been consistently impressed. I'm now around 70,000 miles. They've made recommendations when appropriate but have never pushed unnecessary upsells. Oil changes are typically done in about 30 minutes, communication is strong, and they even send technician walk-through videos explaining what they're seeing. One visit stood out -- after an oil change, I had barely left when they called to say they noticed a small amount of oil where my truck had been parked and wanted to double-check everything. I turned around immediately. It ended up being minor residual oil from service, but the fact that they were proactive enough to call before I even made it home said a lot. Most recently, Hunter in service was excellent -- clear communication, honest discussion about what needed to be done now versus later, and he even honored most of a prior 15% service promotion after checking with management. And a huge shoutout to Larry, one of their senior technicians. I mentioned a small bumper issue while the truck was on the lift. He set expectations properly and said he didn't want to risk causing more damage. When I came back to pick it up, they had fixed it anyway -- no extra charge. That's under-promise and over-deliver. Sales was solid. Service has been exceptional. I'm currently considering purchasing a second vehicle -- possibly a BMW M4 or Z4 with the inline-six platform shared with the Toyota Supra. Living in Fargo, we don't have a BMW dealership locally, so service matters. The fact that I'm seriously considering a $50,000 used vehicle partly because I trust this service team to potentially help support it says everything. That level of confidence doesn't happen by accident

After costing me over 500 dollars in a variety of repairs, 1600 miles in, the tranny let go. Earlier The Same Day I Bought my 08 Subaru Impreza from Nick's Auto, I decided to check out a Subaru legacy at Corwin Toyota. I have rarely seen costumer service that was this bad. I was promised a test drive by two separate salesmen and the car wasn't even in their possession yet. They said they were waiting for that persons new car they were trading it in for, to come in. I then said goodbye... The minute my dad and I walked into Nick's Auto we felt welcome. the Subaru I wanted to test drive was sitting boxed in by a few cars because they were plowing the lot. As soon as I explained who I was and which car I was interested in they started moving the cars that were in the way. The test drive went great and I loved the car. When I Got back The sales guy was helping another family with all of the purchasing paperwork for a really nice car with almost as good of a deal as I got. He apologized for the wait, I was happy to wait because of just how polite he is. When My paperwork stared, I found out I was short because (due to MN law) I needed to pay for registration/plates up front. I needed just under $6,000 for everything included and I told him that with the money I didn't plan on spending I had just under $5,800. He decided that with the little crack in the windshield, the fact that it needed an alignment and a little personal Generosity. He would come down $200 from $5,500 to $5,300 which was awesome but I was still short by $70 so he did me another solid and knocked off one the purchasing fees involved. Now I LOVE this car but the service I received throughout this purchase has me already recommending Nick's Auto to everyone I know. -Thanks Guys
