It gets pretty hot in that room so wear layers so you can peel off as it warms up. Story times seem like they always include a craft at the end, which my daughter is just barely old enough to start enjoying. This is such a great thing our community library puts on. I am so thankful for it. It's awesome to see the amount of kids and active parents that show up! Our little library is truly a gem. They also have a great children's section in the library. My daughter loves to go over there and play and read books. Another perk to the library is their free wifi and computers they have. It's just an all around neat place. We rented the Chandler Ballroom + Kitchen for an afternoon/evening. The Ballroom was spacious, easily seating our ~115 guests, and well-lit, with large, north-facing windows providing ample indirect light. We were pleased that the room came with tables & chairs and with the professional-grade kitchen appliances. The large ovens & refrigerator were perfect for storing and reheating our food. Sarah, the staff member with whom we worked, made the entire process very easy! She was flexible, knowledgeable, and responded quickly to our many questions. She gave us a diagram of the Ballroom's floorplan that she made, which was incredibly helpful, and gave us a tip about looking at Special Occasions in Corvallis for event rental services (tablecloths, tableware, etc). To top it all off, the venue rental was reasonably priced - it was much more affordable than other options in Corvallis & Portland. Thank you very much to the CCC and Sarah for helping make our wedding plans a reality! If we ever need to plan a large gathering in Corvallis in the future, the CCC will be our first choice :)

I can see why the community still uses it for weddings, picnics and get togethers. The bridge is just off to side of the highway and has picnic tables inside. Not many other amenities, just a porta-potty in the parking area, although there is a trail along the creek. The bridge was built in 1926 and later moved to this location where it was restored after the community rallied support to preserve the structure. It is on the National Historic Register.
