Or even give out the scholarships it was meant for! Do you love driving in circles for literally hours a day every single day, trying to find a parking spot. Well good news!! We haven't added new parking since 1959, even to our brand new madison apartments, as well as many other added buildings. But don't worry, we can still raise the rates on parking passes!! Better get a good bike lock. Do you love paying for apps. We at OSU love making you download 1,700 different apps to try and track down your homework. And best of all, almost none of them are free!! Its sad that this PPC was far better organized and this is almost as bad as the military. Valley Library has coffee is even worse somehow. But wait! That's not all, call now so I can tell you about all of our hidden fees, including 7 different fees for breathing. I'm sure this degree will pay off though.

Do not ask them for any help, because apparently, they get paid to do absolutely nothing! My teachers were non-existent for some classes and did not post grades by the deadlines. Instead of receiving any help from any of these so-called resources, I had to send emails to everyone I could possibly find emails for and hope I would actually answer me and point me in some direction for help. I was changing professions to nursing and this was the closest school. OCCC is very small - smaller than the high school I attended. But I do not think that means the education is poor, but quite the opposite. Most of the instructors were knowledgeable and interested in student success, and teacher: student ratios are good. (I found one core instructor to be quite incompetent, as did the other students I was with. That happens everywhere, though.) Lab instructor Lynn is great. Our clinical instructors varied quite a bit and were mostly good. I obtained a BSN after and feel the program at OCCC was better (the BSN was from a reputable school). I think OCCC is especially good for students who prefer the smaller campus, such as home school and some high school students who appreciate a good education but don't want to be swallowed up in a huge university or others who just don't like massive waves of students to navigate. I give it 4.5 stars, but round up to 5.

They have a student body that would fit into the crack of a sidewalk, but still, it's the thought that counts, right? And that's one of the attractions of Linfield, small class sizes and a tight-knit student body. It's a beautiful liberal arts college that has a wonderful education program, but I'm a little nervous it might be too much like high school. Bu the location is prime. I really want to be close to my family, and close to home.

On top of the town being a boring rural, white trash, methane air filled hellscape. WOU has horrible academics and sports. Out of the many many classes I took there I genuinely learned nothing from 98% of them. The teachers are underpaid and the schools finances are so bad, programs get shut down and striped back every year. The sports teams are horrendous and many of the players think they're hot sh*t, they all have that D2 ego where they claim they're gonna transfer up but instead fail all their classes and spend 7-8 years going into debt to play for a mid ass sports team. Because of these horrible circumstances and WOU letting literally anyone into their school, the football team has literal criminals on it. I have wittinesses on 5 different occasions 15-25 football players mug someone. This always happened at party's where somebody would piss off one of the football players so 15+ of them would gang up on 1 single guy and beat the life out of him. Not all of the players are like this but I know many of them are. 0 stars, Save yourself, don't go here, it's such an awful school and in such an awful place. This review hardly scratches the surface of how God awful this place is. The people who like it are lying to themselves or don't know what a real college has to offer.

Let's start with the cost. You pay a lot, but very little of it feels justified. The food situation alone is enough to make you question where your money is going. The dining hall is, bluntly, terrible. On top of that, if you live in the dorms, you are required to have a meal plan, which is expensive and not worth it. They have also restructured dining in a way that seems to benefit athletes more than the general student population, which is confusing considering this is not even a major athletics-focused school. Dorm life is also rough. When I lived there, basic things like heating did not work properly. Maintenance requests would be submitted and then nothing. No fixes, no follow-up, just cold rooms and frustration. Which is horrible because it'd be freezing in the winter and hot in the summer. For the price you are paying, that is unacceptable. The student worker experience does not help either. While I understand student employees are not fully to blame, some interactions were honestly ridiculous. I had an incident in Todd Hall where I was confronted for being in a "cozy room" that is presented like a shared space. If it is actually restricted, then label it clearly instead of letting students walk into awkward confrontations. Hearing staff talk badly about others in public spaces did not improve the atmosphere either. And beyond all that, it is just boring. There is not much energy, not much going on, and it is hard to feel like you are getting a real college experience here. To be fair, not everything is bad. Some professors and student tutors are genuinely kind and helpful. They are easily the best part of the school. But they are not enough to make up for the cost, other faculty/workers, the housing issues, the food, and the overall experience. Bottom line: Save your money and go somewhere else.

The newer buildings have a modern style, while the older ones are rustic; both blend well together to form a great learning atmosphere. A courtyard is centrally located at the heart of the LBCC campus that really adds to its appeal and enhances its beauty. Another nice and useful feature for students is the bus stop located in the south parking lot. It sets a stone's throw from many of the main halls and grants easy access for commuters.

You aren't just a number here, you are a name, with a face and a story, and a journey. The staff is the same too, they take care of you and know you beyond your academics--the entire self is emphasized here. Your social, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health are important. I will be so sad to walk the stage for graduation in May, but so impacted by what I have learned here!
