Given the severity of my situation, I hoped the school would offer at least a partial refund, but that was not the case. I waited months for my appeal decision, only to be told I was still responsible for over $800 for classes I attended for less than two weeks. During that time, I sent multiple emails asking for updates and often waited weeks just to receive a response. This experience felt incredibly dismissive and disappointing, especially from an institution that claims to care about its students.

As a first year student, barely in my second term, she speaks to me as if I should know the ins and out already. I have asked her to speak nicely because it makes me feel uncomfortable to continue to the conversation but I would like help. And she apologized and we continued. But Multiple times I've had issues w financial aid but I'm very non confrontational. Every time I call I can tell it's her, just by the way she speaks. My voice is honestly much calmer and softer. She speaks so mean and in such a way it is very apparent that she's fedddd up with her job. Idk what the job entails but it's very unwelcoming and I always go the rest of the day with anxiety after I call her. Another example would be when I was calling at work on my lunch about an issue, I couldn't find my K # and she spoke to me in a way that was demeaning. I asked if she could look me up another way and she replied "I CAN, but it's up to you guys to memorize the number," and went on and on about how I should have it written down, or screen shot. Which I get but I had just got a new iCloud. Anyways we sat quiet on the phone for 10 minutes while I tried to log into my phone, it's not a big deal but I don't like that the person I spoke to before looked me up with my social. Idk. I avoid calling if I can at any expense.
