    Awesome place!
    Trista B.

We came to the Book Bin a couple weekends ago and we had a great time! Spent a lot of time here browsing, however their titles are organized well, and they have a huge selection also. I found about 4 or 5 books, and my husband even found one also! I wouldn't hesitate to return here and would also recommend it to others. The staff was helpful, I had a couple questions about where to find certain books and they pointed me in the right direction. I like this bookstore's little selection of knick-knacks around also, and their prices are fairly low too. The Book Bin does have new titles next to used ones, so sometimes I would find two books with the same title next to each other, one was $17 (new), and one was $10 (used), and I would always grab the used ones. Ten dollars for a used book is a bit on the steep side, however I didn't mind as they had some books I had been searching for for a while. I was happy to find Stephen King's "The Shining" here, as well as Kurt Vonnegut's "Welcome to the Monkey House" and surprisingly one of the only bookstores with used copies of "Fahrenheit 451". They also had an extensive selection of books about World History, which was awesome to browse through, and specifically one whole shelf devoted to Spanish History. Also shelves with Japanese History, and lots of other countries as well. One area they were lacking in were travel books, this section was not very extensive and had almost zero used copies. Overall I was very happy with The Book Bin and it was a great place to spend some time looking for books. I was really happy with the books I found here and will most likely be back!

    So many books!

I've been going to this book store since I was a kid and it never gets old. It's a cozy little book store with tons and tons of books, merchandise, and fun little toys. I love that the books are so cheap here and that you can also sell back to the bin! The employees are always super helpful and nice. I'm so surprised how knowlegable the people who work here are with all the books. This is the place I go when I'm bored or it's a rainy day and I need a new book. Thanks for being in Corvallis!

I felt like it was rather pricey for used books. Great layout and selection, though. ...

Not the bets comic store in Eugene, but it has its charms. The selection is limited, but good. Worth the trip.

This brand new bookstore just opened. I was curious, so I checked it out…read more It's all bright and clean and new. The workers seemed friendly and there were quite a few other customers there, within an hour of opening. But it never seemed crowded and remained pretty quiet. Here and there they have chairs and tables, so it could be a nice place to sit down with a book for a while. The rows are not straight, so it was a little hard to navigate the store. There were lots of books, but also lots of other things on sale. Puzzles, toys, records, pop culture gifts, and stationary/journals. They had a whole Harry Potter section with the books, of course, but lots of other Potter paraphernalia, like toys, mugs, etc. The signage over some of the sections was missing letters, I think whatever adhesive they used to affix the letters had issues with the curving surface of the book shelves. This store also had lots of events with authors on their event calendar. The cafe seemed like it had the regular snacks and beverages on offer, but I didn't look too hard at the menu. I don't really buy books much anymore (recovering book hoarder here), but this seems like a good addition to the bookstores in the area. I was a little surprised to hear of a new corporate bookstore opening up, but I see they are covering their bases a bit by selling tons of other gifts (and food) along with books. I bet this place will be packed leading up to the holidays!

If a hot book hits the market, the holds at the library will stack up six deep and you have to wait a year to borrow a copy. Also, the library is no longer a reference library, and if you want a classic out of the past, you can find it here. New books are expensive, but that is not this firm's fault. I enjoy getting a coffee and reading my purchase before I leave. The bathrooms need a code for access but employees have been gracious in giving it to me and indeed the behavior of all the employees has been impeccable. I invariably leave in an enhanced mood.

Prices for OSU gear are INSANELY HIGH. There doesn't seem to be anywhere in town for logo wear so…read morethey have a monopoly on Beaver wear. Costco didn't have anything at drop off so we were left to search thru items here. Even the basic t shirts are $15. If you want an item that is Nike you'll pay between $70-120 for a shirt or hoodie. For those prices you should earn college credit!!! They have some changing rooms to try on clothing- which was absolutely vital to be sure items fit before buying them. They had a few couches which we kinda took over with trying to find the right sizes and take some breaks after walking all around campus. The women's side was disappointing because they had so many damn crop tops. Not everyone who is a woman is college aged and wants half of a shirt or sweatshirt. There seemed to be similar items and themes. It would have been nice to change things up a bit and have different things on T shirts and sweatshirts. We wanted to show support of our Beaver but didn't expect to drop so much damn money. Don't come to this store expecting good deals. Make sure you have a spare kidney when you checkout!!!

The selection is not horrible, but the prices ruin it. The other problem is that they are never actually open when you are in the area and consider popping in. Overall this store is a waste of time and not worth the hassle of finding a parking spot to visit.
