I decided to take the drive out there, after arriving too early on one attempt I came back to try again and they were open! I met Nate, tending the bar. Nate was awesome. We had a great conversation about all kinds of stuff like Michigan. I had to have him bake me one of their Red Baron pizzas. The place is decorated with all kinds of random quirky stuff, totally my kinda vibe. The pizza was good the beer better and the company the best! Definitely a spot worth making the trek out for! BF had a couple of beers (cant remember what they were, but i believe it was local), and because i wasn't planning on drinking more (we just got done with a small winery tasting tour), but Chris recommended i try the cocktiel de guayaba, its a bourbon cocktail with guava! It was only 40 pesos and if the owner recommends me.....why would i refuse? we were super hungry so we wanted something light and Chris recommended the pulpo ceviche (100 pesos). My drink was ridiculously tasty as i am a huge guava fan and the bourbon balances the sweetness of the guava with the liquor. the pulpo (octopus) ceviche was wonderful and delicious with just the right portion and served with thin tortilla chips. Chris was so kind and chatted with us almost the entire time we were there. i HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for a quick drink and light bite even if you are here to explore the wines in this wine country. my only mistake was that we came here after having drank so much already from visiting all the wineries!

Equally as impressive was the service and friendliness provided by Monica C. who gave us her utmost attention and anticipated our every needs. She also volunteered to take our group photos. Compared to the cramped, dirty, try-hard bars in El Centro, this place is a welcome change. To the best of my knowledge, it hasn't been around very long, but I really hope its here to stay. The place is spacious, clean and has sofas to lounge on. I was told they have live music on certain nights, but there wasn't any when I was there. The staff is super friendly, the bartender was attentive and wasn't stingy when it came to making drinks. We even ordered a pizza from the bar, which ended up being surprisingly excellent. The bottom line is, if you haven't been to this club yet, you should make it a point to do so. There is so little in the way of "nightlife" in El Centro, and this place really is like a hidden gem.
