I was in full-desperation mode to get a (badly) partially taken down tree removed from my front…read moreyard as my home wasn't selling and it was the only issue that the majority of future buyers were having with my property. I messaged Mike through Yelp around 4:30pm on a Monday, heard back in about five minutes, sent him some photos, and had a full quote 30 minutes later. He also was coming out the next day to remove it. I couldn't believe my luck- especially because the quote was far more reasonable than any of the others I had received. Mike arrived when I was away from the home- all he asked was that I leave a parking spot open for him for his machinery. When I returned home, about two hours after his planned start time, the tree was gone, all remnants of it were completely gone, the sidewalk was completely swept and clean, and the mulch in my front yard had been raked around to incorporate the resulting sawdust, leaving me with a very simple finishing solution; I drove right past my house, went to the local nursery, bought a new plant and a bag of mulch and... NEW front yard! I couldn't recommend Mike and 23 Trees more highly.

This is my second time working with Green Vista, and I continue to be impressed with their service…read more What I really appreciate is how honest and upfront they are. When evaluating my trees, they clearly explained which ones needed deadwood removal and which ones were fine at the time. They also had to remove one tree from my front yard, and they took the time to explain in detail why removal was necessary. I recently worked with Rodney, and he was great about discussing the details of the job and explaining his recommendations. He is obviously very knowledgeable about trees and clearly cares deeply about his work. I especially appreciated that he was there with the crew on the day they removed the deadwood and walked me through what they were doing. Of all the companies I contacted, Green Vista also seemed to have the most appropriate equipment for the job. Several other companies weren't confident they could get their lift into my backyard. Green Vista was able to do it, and they laid down appropriate tracking and ground protection to make sure there was no damage to my lawn. In one case, I found two dead branches that weren't visible from my side of the property. Rodney and the team came back quickly and took care of them, which I really appreciated. I know I'll be using Green Vista again in the future. Their pricing is excellent considering they have a certified arborist involved, and most importantly, they genuinely seem to care about the health of the trees rather than trying to upsell you. Highly recommended.

Absolute Tree was one of the quickest to respond and also with the fairest quote. They also came highly recommended from my neighbor, so I decided to go with them. The whole process was smooth. Ashley, the owner, was quick to respond and clear in his communication. Abraham, the team leader/climber ultimately responsible for the job was friendly, genuine, 100% professional, and went beyond the call of duty. The team was hyper aware of their surroundings (my backyard) - taking care to not damage anything. While not required, I chose to be home and observe the work. From start to finish the job was completed in a very professional and organized manner. Clearly not their first rodeo. If I ever needed more tree work done I'd go back to them in a heart beat. And, if anyone reading this needs tree work done, I highly recommend them. p.s. If you want to see the work they did check out the YouTube video titled "90 Foot Chestnut Oak Takedown Timelapse".
