Someone recommended this place to me after I said Mad Mike's in Milford was the greatest. Corso's is absolutely phenomenal. This place looks like an old auto or tire shop. A lovely Italian couple own it and they are so friendly. We got a BLT and a steak and cheese with peppers and onions. The prices were so reasonable and the sandwiches were amazing. Would definitely come here again. Don't be turned off by the location and the building. Or do I don't care, more for me. read more

The steak & cheese subs are packed with the works, delicious, flavorful, always fresh, and portion/price reasonable. The turkey & cheese sub is great as well. My favorite place to go for lunch. I flew into CT to meet a coworker on a job. Once I landed it was lunchtime so I told him to pick it as he was driving. We decided to find something near our store we were working at that evening and he picked a deli. I brought up "deli nearby" and this place popped up with 5 stars. No offence to all of the many 4.5 & 4.0 star places that also popped up but had to go with this one. Coworker and I both got the Italian combo with everything. Wow, wish I had tried this place sooner. The Italian combo sub here is on the same level as Vito's in downtown New Haven (and that's about the greatest compliment one can offer a sub shop in this region). The bread used here is incredible, and the sub is quite generously sized. Can easily feed two or you can save half for later, but the damn thing is so tasty it's difficult not to eat the whole thing! My only criticism is that the parking lot is far too small. I've had to wait several minutes for a space, and once I had to park across the Boston Post Road at the dollar store. Considering there are two other restaurants in this strip mall, the 18 or so spaces here are way too few. read more

I've been here twice and I get the cold sub turkey and cheese with lettuce, tomato, Mayo, oil, vinegar, as well as a side of pasta salad. For those looking for an old school authentic Italian deli, there is Corso's. Everything is homemade (I'm not sure if the Grandmother is still around, but I remember she used to help with the cooking some years ago). Whenever I would feel a cold coming on, they were always the first stop for chicken soup. The chicken cacciatore and chicken & mushrooms are both always tender and flavorful. Their eggplant parm is never too soggy. This is one of those places where you always hear something cooking behind the partition, and you will always leave smelling like grease. The couple of tables that they have are covered in vintage looking vinyl tablecloths, and the giant walk-in refrigerator door behind the counter let you know that this is clearly an establishment that has stood the test of time. read more

If you are going to go with chicken the grilled is better than the cutlets. All of there meat is very fresh including the steak for the cheese steak ( a fan favorite). Run by Mr and Mrs Michael Corso you will only find the freshest deli meats and cheeses. Homemade macaroni and of course Italian specialties like chicken parm and meatballs. Want a quick breakfast this is the place to go! Open at 8 and closing at 530 pm they also have a small amount of seating. Serving Foxon brand sodas and a variety of chips.
