Whenever I am looking for a gift for just about any occasion, Corricks is one of the first places I go. The selection of potential gifts is just amazing. From frames to crystal to photo albums, they have it all. And they also stock original artwork from local artists. Plus they do custom printing for all sorts of events such as birthdays and weddings. The staff will literally sit down with you and go through the options (which are many) and really work with you to find what you need. Great place. read more

A great local shop for all office needs. I have never been let down when I order. The staff is helpful and the store complete.

Corrick's has exceptional service, and with a smile. They help you to find whatever you need and they have beautiful things there as well.

I'm with the person who said the above review was weird. What is up with paranoid reviewers? I have had good experiences at Corrick's. I love stationary and art supplies and the store is gorgeous. The sales people have always been pleasant to me, and I do bookbinding as a hobby so there is plenty for me to look through. It's also a great place for gifts. And it's been around for almost a hundred years! Hooray paper goods, and assorted knick knacks. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a nice store with nice displays with things I like for sale in them. read more

great place. real throwback to old Santa Rosa. Have many "gift" and specialty items you can't find elsewhere. I think some of the same employees have been there forever. read more

I find the cashiers in this store to be rude as well as lacking in the basics of providing respectful customer service.

After a disappointing trip to Office Depot where they were NOT able to help me with my office supply needs, I came home and googled "stationery supplies" and found Corricks on Yelp. After reading mostly positive reviews, I phoned Corricks and Jerry answered the phone. She couldn't have been nicer! She had what I needed and when I walked into the store 40 minutes later, she looked at me and said "Hi Cory!" How she knew it was me, I have no idea. I had a particular issue that not only Jerry, but two other nice folks also assisted with. While most companies realize these days how important customer service is, these folks went above and beyond to help me. Yes, they were nice at Office Depot, but they didn't have any solution for my needs beyond "sorry, our computers are down so we can't help you." REALLY? This was yet another reminder to me how important it is to support local businesses whenever possible. I will now think Corricks and NOT Office Depot for my office supply needs. Thanks Jerry! In the infamous words of our former Governator.... "I'll be back....." read more

My fiancé and I got our wedding invitations from Matthew at corricks and he was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful and was very patient while we were trying to make all our decisions. He had great insight on wording and how to phrase things. He advice was invaluable and I am SO happy we decided to use corricks for our invitations!! They are the best by far.. Not to mention that they have wine tasting in the store for after you are done with the tiring invitation process!! read more

Rainbows and Unicorns, that's what this place is. They are helpful, kind, tenacious have obvious, great team-work, they know their merchandise and everyone there at least gives the appearance that they are happy to be there. These folks still provide service in an era of 'self' or 'no' service. They have it all. It's like an old fashioned stationery and gift store, everything is deliciously presented. This is a go-to place for a gift for that hard to find...... Thank you Corrick's read more

I had some of the best customer service I've ever had there Monday night. I was looking for a certain size envelope for some invites I was late getting out in the mail. I had been to FIVE stores with a 2 year old on my hip before I got to Corrick's. By the time I got there it was 6pm and 30 minutes after the store had closed. A gentleman saw me at the door and came over. I was on the verge of tears and he let me in and found my envelopes right away. The store was closed and registers were off so he allowed me to write a check. I will go there FIRST next time. I was so extremely thankful!! read more

I give these guys a good review because my business ordered a self-inking stamp from them - the first time it came out wrong, but they corrected it quickly and shipped it to me at no charge, which shows integrity on their part. This an the fact that they are a local company, which gets way more props in my book than any chain store, I don't care how cheap they are. Thing is, Corrick's prices compare to the big chains as well, so going there is a no-brainer. read more

Fabulous gift selection, great office supply stuff, wonderfully helpful staff, ignore the negative reviews - someone must have been having a bad day. No, this isn't another Staples. Has a great selection of so many other things. Need a wedding gift, anything you ever dreamed of for truly collectible Christmas decorations, you can find treasures here. Beautiful stationery, custom Christmas cards, this is the go to place for your wedding invitations. Nothing else like it in Santa Rosa, that's for certain. read more

You MUST visit this store! Just when you thought personal service and selection were a thing of the past, Mr. Kevin Brown and his staff make it a treat to go shopping. Amazon and all other retail services online 'may' have what you want to buy, but we are humans, not robots, and walking into this store is truly retail therapy. Located centrally in the newly redeveloped downtown, Corricks gives you that warm, hometown feel with worldly, elegant products. Plus, it's stationary section is a great 'go to' area when you run out of essentials. They've been in business for over 110 years!!!! They certainly are doing things right. Visit today. read more

I love corricks! The people that work there have always treated me and my needs with kindness and concern. I have used this store for the last six years: first for office supplies when in a bind, when I worked downtown. Although some of the standard supplies might be a bit more expensive here, it really comes down to pennies. The abundance of everything useful that office depot does not have, or any other store for that matter, makes up for it. I also like that you can purchase just one file folder made in that strange color, or only 10 of something you need - instead of the large, expensive packaged items most office stores offer. I also love fine stationary, and this is hands down the only place to find it in sonoma county. Their pen selection is fantastic - from single pens to refills for strange roller balls, Ive again, only been able to find these things at Corricks. I was shocked at reading some of the reviews, because I have never, ever, been unsatisfied or seen behavior of that nature while in the store. I really appreciate that corricks maintains such a wide array of finely crafted items, things that most people don't find important enough to stock anymore. And lets face it: its really not that much more expensive, especially when you consider what your extra 40 cents provides for you and others: treating their employees well, so that they can have what most of us want - a day off on sunday ... reasonable hours AND lets not forget all of those old world, new world, crafty and mod selections of stuff, all in one spot. ...especially the stuff that is made really, really well. I think this store is fantastic. read more

I love Corrick's. It is family owned which shows by it's great selection and the customer service is as good as it gets. The office supplies are reasonably priced and I can find forms that aren't carried elsewhere. read more

The people at Corrick's are the nicest I have met anywhere! We did business on the same block for 18 years and I shopped there for supplies constantly, very convenient, and Kevin Brown and his wife Jerri, who manage the store, are two of the nicest, kindest humans anywhere. In fact, so are all of the long-timers (low turn-over, tells you something) at the register. Even the HANDYMAN, John, is super nice and friendly to us. They were even all really sweet about having to chase our CAT around their store, whenever she escaped and ran into theirs, which was a LOT! They never acted annoyed, and when one got lost, they were all actually WORRIED! The employees even took the time to visit and care for our cats when we were on vacation, I mean COME ON! Every last one of them is so sweet, and no, they do NOT all belong to one religion, where did THAT come from? They're just highly professional, and because they work there for a long time (as a PROFESSION), they get to know you, if you're nice to them. Yes, the store is a treasure trove of all sorts of wonderful objects, but the real treasure at Corrick's is the people who work there! We miss them! read more

When my parents moved to Santa Rosa in 1959 with me in tow, there were no Office Depots or Staples. Fourth Street was four lanes and parallel parking. In place of trees there were parking meters. The beautiful old library provided a quaint sense of stability, albeit inadequate for the needs of a growing community. And if you didn't get downtown before five o'clock, as my mom put it, "they rolled up the sidewalks." But there was Corrick's -- and Hardisty's. It has been said that people from San Francisco in the late 40's and into the 50's would come to Santa Rosa to shop at these two stores. Corrick's has changed a lot since 1959 in terms of how to remain a vital merchant in an urban market. But the one thing that has not changed is the commitment to excellence, both in products and service. How we gift, how we entertain, has changed radically. And the "Today" Corrick's has made a concerted and noble effort to provide a forum for some of the finest artists in Sonoma County. And their commitment to remain in the central business district -- even after the 1969 earthquake when so many businesses were leveled -- is enough to say, "Cost be damned. You get what you pay for." Although I am a senior on a fixed income, I still have a commitment to shop local businesses first. If it seems expensive, consider the quality. If it means spending more and getting quality, forego that next visit to Ross and patronize a local business where quality and service still exist. read more
