First of all...if you're thinking of coming here just think of the adagium "Just Do It." Pros: Atmosphere makes up for everything else. This was the best night out I've had since I went to Ireland last year. The people are amazing, the music is THE BEST. Open mic night on Tuesday's is where it's at. I'll gladly trade in my beer snobbery (IPA addicts anonymous) for a Guinness at this place. Deltas - On tap: Guinness, Harp, Magners, Smithwick's. Either way...I'll be back. I only give four stars for the beer selection (or lack thereof).

This is a real Irish bar, not one of the prefabricated pseudo-Irish places that seem to be everywhere. It has basically a neighborhood bar atmosphere, but with certain touches that tell you that the patrons/owners truly identify with Ireland. Definitely a neighborhood feeling, there were older people and what looked to be family groups. Later in the evening night a couple of men who looked like they were in their 60's came in with their wives, all dressed up, seemingly finishing out a night that had begun somewhere more formal. Apparently this bar is presenting live music on a regular basis, particularly Irish music, which I otherwise would not expect with a small place like this. The night I went there was a really good trio playing a mix of U2 covers and suchlike as well as Irish traditional tunes. Some people got up and danced even though there was no dance floor, sort of like you might at a house party. Anyway, nice place, friendly, good music, laid back atmosphere, and inexpensive drinks. A good place to relax.

I'm a sucker for live music, and they had a pretty solid 3-person group playing guitar, singing, and just having a good time on what was most likely an off night due to the snow. Besides that, the bar was pretty meh and far from the rest of the neighborhood. But the music definitely left me with no regrets of coming

    Nice and smooth.

Not many people were eating, but it looked like a lot of friends here after a long day of work. Our server, Alex was extremely personable and she took our orders right away. As it was a Monday, neither of us were drinking, but she promptly brought two ice waters. I had mentioned to her that I had been here six or seven years ago, and she also said she had been here since. We came here only for the wings as I remembered and 18 wings for $22 is an amazing deal! We got six hot wings, six buffalo wings and Alex recommended the last set of wings be Cajun. There was a group of eight men at the bar, enjoying the baseball game, and I have to assume they're local by the way they were talking to each other and conversing with the bartender. I can imagine this place gets pretty busy on a Friday or Saturday evening with locals. This is such a fun dive bar feeling, with the decor being very mom and pop shop, but it also felt like there was a lot of history here-like people would fight for this bar, not to shut down. You know the space has personality and charm as Alex then chased down a lady who just left to give her her the forgotten leftovers. As our food came out relatively fast, the hot and the buffalo sauces were pretty similar, but the sauce was very thin, so it didn't clean to the wings that well. The wings were fresh and really crispy so you know they were made to order which was great. The Cajun was the absolute best as it was a dry rub, however, I feel like they should've tossed it in butter or something so the Cajun would stick as most of the seasoning had fallen off.
