I do enough…read moremajor electrical work on my own to know ICC code and most of the local codes to know quickly during a walk-through on a quote if someone knows what they're doing and competent at making choices of a reasonable human being. I'm slow on my own, so hire people to limit down time at our business. Tom knew exactly what he was talking about and talked/walked me through the desired run from the main panel. The quote was very reasonable and job completed quickly by him, his son, and an apprentice. He was very accommodating in working around times we were seeing emergency patients and offered to return for completing work that required power shutoff outside of normal hours. They cleaned up after themselves and were just perfect. It was wonderful having Tom directly doing the work. Too many times in Albuquerque, you get quotes for s job only to have a sub-contractor show up that has no idea what they are doing. I also previously mentioned I loved Tom's ability to be competent. I mention this because we recently purchased a new office space that had a prior renovation where an electrician ran solid metallic conduit 1" above a drop ceiling. This would count as stupidity. Sure you have electricity, but lost 1/4 of the access points of your ceiling tile. Tom installed 16" above ceiling tile like a competent human being Just a great business and owner.

The two technicians showed up on time yesterday (promised 9-10 AM) after sending an "on our way" text). They recommended using the pleated filters instead of the blue fiberglass variety. He had a 20"x25" pleated filter in the truck that was a little long for our space. So, he took a pair of shears, chopped off just enough, and used the cardboard form cleared of material to put a border back on! Voila! Another service was cleaning the fins (?) on the outdoor compressor. After turning off the power outside, he used a hose to flush out the accumulated detritus in the unit. Our system is back to working great again! I had a chance to speak with one of the brother/owners, Paul, this evening, to share my feedback on the service call. Sounds like a very nice guy. I thanked him for their well-trained techs.

Our AC unit was having trouble working on our old 100amp so we had to upgrade to a 200. Today, I needed a company to snake my drains. I called one place that wanted to give me a "quote" in 2 days time. So I called MY PLUMBER and was pleased to know that I could get SERVICE TODAY with an estimate that was within my budget. Andres arrived and not only snakes my ouside drains but also snaked my laundry drain in the garage. Same price.
