    Hull City Council are useless, when the make a mistake, it takes a year for a Stage 3 complaint to…read morego through. Then the information governance team try and pull exemptions out the air to not provide information, then cry and refuse to answer questions as to how they got there. here is an example of them attempting to apply a "serious harms test" and my questions I have provided. They will not answer!!!!!!!!! Q1: What specific evidence did Hull City Council rely upon to assert that disclosing my son's social care records would pose a significant risk of serious harm to his physical or mental health, in accordance with the Serious Harm Test as established in R v. Home Secretary, ex parte S. and others (2000) 1 WLR 1733? Q2: How does Hull City Council justify its application of the Serious Harm Test in this instance, particularly in light of the requirement for objective, evidence-based assessments mandated by the Data Protection Act 2018? Q3: What comprehensive risk assessment procedures did Hull City Council undertake concerning the potential impact on my son's welfare, as outlined in Re A (Children) (Risk of Harm) (2011) EWCA Civ 25? Q4: Can Hull City Council provide detailed documentation of the assessments conducted by the Information Governance Team that led to the decision to withhold my son's records, consistent with the transparency obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000?     Should I ever get put in charge of a city populated with people I despise, I would certainly…read moreconsider using Hull City Council as a template for my governance. It is pretty hard to find good points about Hull City Council, they basically have one phone number 300300, you can call and get messed about by a variety of people; from nice people who can't help you to the more regular rubbish people who won't, but hey it's not their fault because they just take calls (that's OK then) but you can't talk to any one except them either, so it is very much a pass the buck experience, with some of the most grating people alive. In every capacity I have contacted the council over I have been left annoyed and disappointed.
