Gone ar the days when you popped into your local library to borrow a book & had little to choose…read morefrom, these days they have every type of book you can think of & if not they will try their hardest to get it for you. There are computers here for anyone wanting to use to study,research etc & are ideal for those who need to do work etc but cannot afford one. When visiting with my grand daughter i recently noticed they also do cd's,dvd's & video games so you can also rent these here so this place is definately worth a look you never know what you may find

This is a very small library on Chanterlands avenue in Hull. It serves the local community ( mainly…read morethe avenues). I like the intamacy you get in the labrary - there is a cosy feeling to it. The level of noise in the library make it very difficult to study. The noise is not controlled by the librarians in fact they are major contributors to it. The library could do with a bit of a tidy up - but it's adequte. I would recommend tis library if you don't need something specific and are not particularly botered about the level of noise

It is a great place to study and I would recommend it to anyone. I made loads of friends who I still see regularly some 10 years later. It is not a huge university which makes it al the more friendly and is set on a lovely campus. The student Union is a great place with plenty of things going on and there is a big library, sports centre etc etc.
