GO TO CORONADO'S NOW! It is seriously the old school barbershop of your dreams!! My only regret is that I didn't give the guy a big enough tip. I have been going there for years now and have not once had a slightly bad experience or haircut. read more

I have been going to this establishment for over 20 years and highly recommend it. Amazing service, great atmosphere and I walk away each time feeling refreshed. read more

The service here is super friendly and welcoming which is something worth coming here for, but $30 for a men's haircut? Oof, that's steep. To be fair, the standard haircuts come with aftershave and all these other additional services that many other haircut services do not include, but I personally think it should be optional, instead of a part of the most standard haircut price. Also despite great service, the haircut was just not what we wanted. My boyfriend showed a picture of how he wanted his hair to look, and he did say "a bit shorter," but it was significantly shorter, like at least 1 inch/50% shorter, and the hair style was also quite different... we were both pretty disappointed in the haircut and I think it's safe to say this was my boyfriend's least favorite haircut he has ever gotten. I guess the pro tip would to show an accurate photo and be extremely clear on what you want, because aside from the styling and length, the place is clean, the service is great. read more

My best friend recommended that I go there and with a wedding just days away, I needed a great haircut. With no language barriers or confusion, the man (who I will call the Diego Rivera of barbers) did an amazing job with my hair and beard to leave me looking damn good. My girlfriend approved and while I didn't have cash, they allowed me to go get it and I gave them a huge tip for a damn good job well done. For me its a little bit of a drive but I will definitely go back to them when the need to look amazing is imperative. The brothers are very nice and very down to earth so you'll feel very comfortable walking into a nicely kept barber shop. read more

I've never had to leave a bad review like this before. Check the phone records guys. I say I'm coming in 30 minutes at 342 and the store says it closes at 5. Then I show up at 3:14 and he says that was over 30 minutes ago sorry. I explained that I drove far and he says it was over 30 minutes ago and the owner said he doesn't have time to argue with me. I never want to talk bad on a business ever but this is crazy guys I wasn't happy but I wasn't rude. The response was rude. If you realized your worker lied and you defended him instead of looking into it. read more

While my son was next door getting train by Sam, I wanted to get a haircut and just pop my head in and ask Hey can you cut my hair now? Tony said come on sit down and I cut your hair. WOW I called that quick service and to top it off, my hair look like a million dollars. Thank you so much Tony I will be back soon. My son now wants Tony to cut his hair too. Your the best Tony and I will let my friends know about you. See you this week for my son's hair cut. Harry Irvine read more

Coronado's Barbering Parlor - Tony, your the man. Thank you for cutting my hair. - Barbers Near Me - Torrance, California

The guys here do such a great job! I brought my son here and there really is a big difference between getting a hair cut and going to a barber. It was really clean, and old school barber chairs. He loved it and loved his cut. Now I'm here with my younger son and it's just as clean. Price was a little more than other hair cutters but at least I know my boys are going to get great haircuts and the experience is much more enjoyable. read more

Came here because of the great, not disappointed! I gave him a rough idea of what I wanted and just let him go for it and I'm very pleased with the results. I had very long here when I came in, left with a sharp haircut, couldn't be happier with my choice. :) see ya in a few months read more

Coronado's Barber shop in Torrance is the place to go for no nonsense, professional men's hair cuts. Owner Tony, has mastered his craft. A young man with an old soul, Tony will make you feel at home from your first visit. Since taking over the parlor a year or so, Tony has carried on the tradition of good cuts, good prices and great service. With the help of former owner Manny LaGod, the pair continue to provide customers with the satisfaction that keeps us coming back time and time again. As I said this is a Barber shop and not a salon. From the simple decor which includes antique barbers chairs and Tony's "Old School" professional demeanor, you'll get exactly what you came in for. A quality hair cut, friendly service and good price. This is the friendly neighborhood Barber shop you've been looking for. Open Tues.-Fri. 9am-6pm and Saturdays from 8am-4pm. read more

There is no sign inside or outside that says that they only accept cash. How is any new customer supposed to know that? The man said to go use the ATM at the liquor store next door. Anyone with a brain knows that most banks charge $4 on top of the $2 ATM fee. No thanks. I went somewhere else to get my hair cut. It's 2015. Get with the times and accept all tender or inform people before they step foot in the door. read more

I went to this barbershop because of solid the 5 star rating. There were two barbers (brothers?) who are absolutely very cool and funny. They'll keep you entertained with their ridiculous jokes. They charged me $22 plus tips. First he said $20 and later said $22. For me honestly, I didn't think the haircut I got was worth $25 dollars. It was quick and clean cut, he finished in less than 15 mins. Barber did not apply shave cream to razor off the neck. For me it was a long 20-25 min drive and I honestly don't think the Haircut I received was worth $25. There are barbershops that charge $15 for the same cut. I recently moved from Maryland where I had a great group of barbers who cut for $15 and i tipped them good for their insane barbering skills. I'm left disappointed with this shop and still insearch of that level of barbershop. read more

Best Barber Shop EVER! I will put it like this. If I was rich and didn't live in the area, I would fly in on my personal jet or helicopter to get to this joint. The owner Tony and his brother, along with Manny each make you feel like a million bucks. The place has a very old school, Italian, mafioso type vibe goin' on. Its very welcoming and everyone is so polite and nice. You instantly feel like family and that's just how these guys like it! To be honest, I never went to a barber since I "simply shave my head". However ever since meeting these guys, I cant wait to go back. For me its MY 20 Minutes of pampering! Its not just a hair-cut! My ears, eyebrows, nose hairs... everything is taken' care of and when I go home my lady can't keep her hands off me. I swear these guys make you look and smell amazing! I've never once had a nick, scrach, tug, pull or 1 hair out of place the next day. Even with a simple shaved head, these guys do their best and with that they deserve the best review I could ever give on Yelp! This is THE spot for all ages! Young to old, these guys do it big and make you feel like a million bucks. read more

This is my go to barbershop! Tony and now his younger brother Geoffrey are usually the ones who cut my hair. There is also another gentleman named Manny who's cliental comprise of older gentleman or as I like called them silver foxes! Usually there is wait for Tony who is the owner and most sought out barber there, but Geoffrey who's only 20 yrs old, did a great job cutting my hair and is most likely gonna succeed his brother Tony. But what keeps me coming here is not the price ($15) or the cuts, but its the customer service/friendliness that Tony provides the second I walk in. He is very respectful and he takes time to get to know you and wants to give you not only the best haircut, but your friendship is most important to him. With that said this place is a word of mouth spread joint, so if you are in the area stop by and give him a shot. OH YEA ITS CASH ONLY! read more

Don't worry, Manny is still around. The tall guy with glasses retired, though. =( One of the younger guys is a little cavalier. He'll barely glance at photos you show him, and doesn't do a taper as well as the other guys. read more

Great barbers. The brothers who run this place know their trade. They listen to what you want, I have never had a bad haircut here and the price is good. Very friendly and fast. SOLID and consistent! Do me a favor, tell them CADILLAC recommended them!

I just got charged $30 for 15-20mins fade haircut, is this the right price? Great haircut but I found a bit pricy for a fade.

I love this place to death. When I can actually get there. The hours make it impossible for me. Sun / Monday are my days off and I work 9 to 6. If you can actually make it here when its open, they're the best in the south bay. For me? I've sat in the parking lot 3 times looking at a closed shop in the past week. Gotta find a new spot. read more

Coronado's Barbering Parlor - Waiting for the doors to open at 9am! - Barbers Near Me - Torrance, California

I moved to Torrance 6 months ago and have been dying to find a good barber. Tony is a good, hardworking guy who you can tell wants the best for his customers. This place gets really busy quickly so I suggest if you come on your lunch break that you bring lunch with you. Tony works as fast as he can but he has a lot of people to get to and he honestly couldn't work any faster. He gave me the exact haircut that I wanted because he listens to his customers. He also recommended a good place for lunch called Chicken Maison. Thanks Tony and best of luck! read more

Absolutely love Tony and his brothers: Geoffrey and Ibrahim! My husband and 3 sons all go there and get quality top notch haircuts. My sons are all under the age of 6 and everyone there is extremely friendly and patient with them. My boys have fun at the barbershop. Yes the wait on Saturdays can be long, but that shows what a quality shop it is. If you can make it during the week then there is usually little to no wait. My father, who is handicapped also is a client of the barbershop and Tony always goes out of his way to help him in and out of the chair and back to the car. Everyone there is a class act! read more

Being a visitor it is sometimes difficult to find a decent barbershop...I was lucky enough to find a very professional and friendly barbers in town !! This is the "Cheer's" of barber shops. Always a smile and welcoming greeting when I walk in. All three guys are great and I'm happy to have my hair cut by the first open chair. Tony is hands down one of the best barbers in the South Bay. Been trying out different barbers, being that I live in west LA but I don't mind the commute because he does such a great job. Go here to get a legit haircut and experience you simply cannot find anywhere else. Both guys are heros, Always paying attention to more details than I've experienced anywhere else but yet on point to respect every individual's time that walks through the door. The waiting is appropriate, art takes time and they give every custom more than they bargin for. If you have a complaint or any negativity I'm gonna bet all my dollars you my friend are on the wrong yelp page. 6 stars for the freshest cut I've ever had. Super quaint place also. The dude can't manage a line. Wasted over an hour of my time as I waited in the car making calls to avoid crowding the lobby. As I checked in again he yelled he was "running a professional operation" and that I'd have to wait another hour as he gave my spot up and I have to get in the back of the line. Professional operations don't yell at repeat customers who patiently wait an hour. Done with this guy. read more
