Rudy is the best barber I've ever had. It said I need at least 85 characters to do the review. What else can I say? Rudy was out for several months with a shoulder injury. Ive been coming here for a very long time, for almost 9 years I have had my haircut here, they are very friendly accepts walk ins sometimes you just gotta have a seat and wait your turn or you can leave and come back a couple minutes later. Theres two barbers guys there and a girl barber, I usually get my hair cut from whichever guy barber would be available at the time but its usually the guy with the mustache hes a very nice guy and will always take his time on cutting your hair make sure to tip ! read more

Don't do it! We read the reviews and were in a time crunch for our son and thought a basic hair cut would get him by. He left with an uneven taper and it's jagged and looks blotchy. The barber that cut his hair was not friendly at all, and was very rude and curt. Customer service is not good at all. Save yourself the headache and just find somewhere else, otherwise you'll be like us and pay twice to go somewhere else to fix. read more

Posting this low review because I've come here three times. Each time with a different barber/stylist. None of them could cut my hair neatly. There were long hairs left all over in my part area from every barber I was cut by. Also one barber/stylist who I talked with did not give me options to cut my hair appropriately. I have a cowlick in the back of my head. His/her idea of making me look good was to give me a medium fade all over and the back of my head in the two inch diameter spot where the cowlick is, leave that longer than everything else. Looked horrible. This was not a case of customer demanding something and not listening to the barber/stylist advice. I told him/her to please use his/her expertise to make me look good and I need help. I'd happily change my hairstyle if it meant it and that was his/her plan. I ended up with an uneven head. I'll start with the positives: This place is convenient to my home and is very reasonably priced. Some of the barbers are decent and quick. Now the reason I will not be returning. First, customer service is not their strong point. Don't make the mistake of getting your hair cut by the really old guy. I was in that chair forever and it was not a very good hair cut. The far-right politics of this place is very disturbing. I realize I'm not going to share the political views of all the businesses with which I do business. I get that. But this place is always BLASTING Fox News. The barbers are always saying offensive things that go beyond simple politics. If you're looking for someone to tell you about QAnon, this is your place. Luis has been cutting my hair for the past 18 months. He does a great job. You need an appointment. Men's quality haircut is $20. He always flips the television to the golf channel for me when I go in. I stopped telling him how to cut my hair, I just let him decide now...and I get a ton of compliments as a result. read more

Simple, good in a pinch, no frills. $15 haircut (compare versus a $18 haircut at Supercuts down the road). Louie cut my hair. Didn't say a word to me the entire time. No nonsense guy. Did a pretty good cut -- I did look pretty dapper afterwards. To be blunt, my dad got his hair cut here, and I've been coming here my whole life (except for college). Now I've been bringing my two sons in. I've had my hair cut by Old Luis, Young Luis, Gil, and now Bald Louie. It's no-frills, but I always come out looking crisp, clean, and refreshed for an affordable price. I've put my professional look in their hands and scissors time and again, and have never regretted it. Like any "men's barber-shop" it comes with it's cast of characters, and yeah my politics might not align to a lot of theirs (seems to be a big thing in some of the other reviews), but once you get to know everyone, it's like walking into Cheers. Can't follow a direction.... Told Luis to cut 1 inch off the top of my hair. Decided to cut 1 1/2 inch without telling me and when I asked why, he just said that he felt it was too long. Barbers are supposed to follow a customer's directions, and this is the case for really any kind of business. Now I look like I got a buzzcut. But when I got home and got a clear view of my cut...lol lets just say they forgot a spot, he was gonna do a fade on my sideburns but forgot all about it. I can post pics for evidence. It absolutely depends on the barber here. Rudy a sort of heavy set latino gives a thoughtful, decent cut so do most of the guys wish i knew the young guys name and by young he's probably late 30's and is the best. The one guy to steer clear of has a sort of Cowboy look grey hair and mustache the oldest of the bunch i'd say. Not to be confused with Gil who I believe is the proprietor. read more

It is a nice and straight forward barber shop. There is not a lot of talking going on and they just get down to business, but they're reasonably priced at $15 per normal cut and have fantastic hours! After fifteen years I finally had it with the owner. I asked if I could watch the Ryder Cup while I was getting my hair cut. No one was watching what was on. The guy cutting my hair was happy to oblige. Not a minute later the owner picks up the remote, changes the channel and says "I'm not watching that all day". I was in there ten minutes but they lost a customer for life. Go to Village Barbers. They are awesome. Joe makes you feel like family and doesn't care what is on the TV. read more
