We all know that finding a new barber is not easy and I have to say this shop is a hidden gem in the South Bay. The very first time I walked in every barber said hello and shook my hand. Damian has not only become my barber but also a friend. Everyone there makes you feel like you have been coming for years. I highly recommend checking this place out. I've been here several times with my kids and it has been excellent. The shop has a classic barber shop vibe, but they are super welcoming to kids and also take walk-ins. Eli, the owner is really nice and always has several "regulars" in the shop. They do a great job listening to style descriptions, and helping decide the right cut...my kids have always had great experiences. read more

Eli is the best barber in the South Bay, hands down. I've been getting my hair cut by him for the last 15+ years. I've tried some other shops through the years due to personal location changes, but no one compares. Shop moved to a new location on Crenshaw, just North of Rolling Hills Road. Setup is great, and the shop is always poppin. Book ahead of you can, because they are always busy. Cut runs on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. read more

Nice inside, they were very friendly and the haircut was good. However, they are quite pricey, a simple men's haircut was $55 including tip. While it was a good haircut, I don't think it justified a double price from Supercuts. read more

I'm not huge on bad reviews but my boyfriend went to this place to have his and our son's haircuts done... James was a nice guy; however 1. He had one job, don't cut my sons hair too short. What did he do? Cut it short. 2. The cut itself was so bad that we noticed bald spots and were at the pool plucking out long hairs that he missed... 3. I said NO FADES.... What do both of my boys get? Fades. 4. What do they get charged for this wonderful service? Over 70$.... Not everyone is into fades so I would appreciate it if a barber can understand the words "NO FADES" Absolutely not coming back and I find it comical that he felt the need to give my boyfriend his card after already expressing he did a terrible job. Been coming here for a few years now and have always had a great experience! Always great vibes but yesterday was the first time I brought my son. Had an appointment with Karina. He literally threw the worst tantrum I'd ever seen him throw and Karina kept her patience and took her time and still did a great job. I got home and told the wife how bad of a tantrum he had and she was shocked at how great it came out even with my son being crazy so gotta give major props to Karina. Not a good experience. First two times I booked with Eli once for my son wants for myself everything went fine. Haircut was good. Second time I booked for my son he put her with another girl and left. Today I went in for an appointment at 9:30. I got there 10 minutes early he was cutting somebody's hair. At 9:45 he comes up to me and said I know you booked for 9:30 but these are my regulars and the other girl that I was going to put you with isn't here. But she's on her way. Sorry man. I'm busy. You don't leave someone sitting for 25 minutes before you tell them you're not going to cut their hair. read more

I usually go to Supercuts for my haircut and beard. Due to the coronavirus, they were closed and wanted customers to jump through hoops for services. So I decided on a whim to walk into this barber shop, located a few feet away. Right off the bat, Kat (Cat) took care of me. She suggested a haircut that looks best on me and fits in with my lifestyle. I will always cut my hair this way and hope to continue to get serviced by her. I also loved the decor, the old school vibe and interesting conversations. I've learned my lesson to ditch Supercuts and go to a real barber shop. So a walked in and asked if they do walk-ins and the barber said yes. I asked what was the price of a haircut with beard and he said $35. So when he gets finished with the other client he says he is ready for me. I see the price list and it says $35 for cut and between 10-20 for beard. So I repeat cool so it's 35 for cut and beard and he said no it's $50. I say whatever ok. He cuts my hair and then says cool. I say, what about the face and he says that he can't cut the beard right now. I barely have any hair on my head to start with and the main reason for the cut was to match the beard with my hair cut. Super disappointed and I probably won't be back. Bad for business read more

I came here for my first time (walk-in) and got a haircut for $40. It looks okay but I have a hard time justifying the price for the quality I recieved. I had a few stray long hairs that I was able to take care of myself at home. The employees are nice and other clients seemed to be repeat customers who had their own preferred barbers. I would create an appointment with the barbers who are named in other reviews because it seems like those other reviewers had a better experience. read more

I have been coming here for a while and mostly like it. I have used various barbers here and all have done a good job. They are professional and nice to the clients. I had one bad experience where I had to wait 35 minutes despite having an appointment. This was disappointing as they are usually prompt. Also, I feel their haircuts are a little on the pricey side. I feel so stupid to went this place with group on appointment. I bought a$16 Groupon ticket to for an heir cut but when you go there, it's different picture. this guy told me $16 only for kids. they charge you $35 for a full heir cut. Waiting time is not tolerable. read more

This a great "old school" Barber in a not so difficult place to locate. They do schedule appointments and the guys that work there take pride in making you look your best.
