Coronado Coffee Co opened a shop on Rosecrans and Byron in Point Loma. The OG shop is in Coronado. This cafe is next to Mr Moto's pizza and UPS Store with limited free parking inside the lot. There's outdoor and indoor seating. Their menu list of drink creations is extensive. Also offers pastries and açai bowls, which is part of a hour happy special from 4-7p. Although I already had my homemade cup of espresso, I did order an iced Americano with Stevia in the Raw and the coffee was strong and refreshing just like Way like it. The shop was clean and the best part was the super nice and friendly staff who were so welcoming towards me and my pup Fendi. They even took a Polaroid pic of Fendi to post on their Puppy Razzi wall. With such a positive first impression, we plan to return and highly encourage you to visit this fantastic cafe. Recommend!

For the rosecrans location shelter island drive. Staff was very friendly. Made us feel at home. Small location but big on service & Great espresso cappuccino. Cold brew was decent and much needed. Only downside there was a sewer smell at the tables out front by mr moto side.

The turkey bacon avocado on sourdough bread is as excellent! Bread toasted perfectly and turkey juicy and full of flavor. Luis was the best host and my guest was very satisfied with her iced latte and sandwich! It was a sunny clear afternoon to sit outside on the patio!

This is dog friendly location with plenty of outdoor seating. I was greeted by friendly staff, who made everything fresh. Will definitely be back.

I was so excited to see that we have a new little coffee spot on our street. I needed a little pick me up and walked over from my office which is only a 5 minute walk, so convenient. It was a really beautiful day out too so I grabbed myself an iced chai latte, the cashier was really friendly and it looked like you can buy their day old pastries at a lesser cost! Since I just ordered pizza next door I wasn't able to try their sandwiches or pastries but I will have to get a sweet little treat next time I'm there. The cashier gave me a little punch card after my order and my drink came out so quickly. There isn't seating inside but they do have plenty outside and they were really busy and packed outside. My drink was perfect, didn't need any sweeteners it was just right. Definitely gonna come back!

They always say there's an exception to the rule and I think I found one. The rule being most good coffee shops are closed by 4 PM and after that you're stuck with Starbucks. That was until I found this shop. I live in Point Loma not too far from this shop and I came across it randomly one night, ironically enough on my way to Starbucks around 6 PM. The staff was friendly, parking at that time of day was easy (not sure about regular business hours) and the coffee was way better than going through some drive-through. I have a local coffee shop that I go to, but it is great to know if I miss that 3 PM deadline, I now have another spot to frequent. Well done Coronado Coffee Co.

This coffee shop is very cute and in a great location. Our drinks were delicious and we both want to come back to try the food. The service was friendly and there were plenty of seating options.

Marshmallow iced oat milk latte!

I decided to try out a marshmallow latte but get it iced, taste delicious and there's tiny marshmallows on top. There's also a really nice view down towards shelter Island Drive at the corner of Rosecrans and there's front door seating with 6 tables and shade and umbrellas and we need places like this in the point Loma area that are open later for GEN XER people who are in their 50s that like to hang out and don't want to get drunk, so thank you Coronado coffee company. Check it out. The hours are 6 AM till 7 PM every day of the week as if I won't be back yay

So happy this shop opened up in my neighborhood with an outdoor seating area. Fun specials daily- like mazapán latte or mint cold brew. Staff is super kind. They have punch cards too. Decor is very cute inside.

Nice inside with a Couch with their brand logo

Great coffee, acai bowls and the puparazzi walk is so cute! The Point Loma neighborhood reminds me of Bixby Knolls, Long Beach!

Came on a Sunday around 11am and it was packed but our order was taken pretty fast. Has a nice selection of drinks and some food and pastries. We ordered a Latte and one of their siganture drinks Hawaiian Latte Iced. For me the quality of the coffee is extremely important and this one was excellent. The Hawaiian Latte had the Coconut/Macademia flavor taking you back to Hawaii. Loved the ambiance, they even have a section of local goodies to purchase. Parking is the only thing that you may have to park wherever you find parking and walk, but Liberty Station is meant for that to enjoy all the cool things it has to offer.

Moniker General…read moreCo. is a bustling coffee shop located right in the center of it all--next to bars, breweries, mini-golf, actual golf, crafts shops, maker markets, restaurants, beauticians, and even an airport! Parking is tricky here because there's so much happening around the shop. You'll be able to find some parking along the big ring that runs around Liberty Station or in the nearby parking lots, but it may take a few minutes walk to get to the cafe. When you're at Moniker General, it's a bright, artistic, and open-air environment. The double wide doors open up to the street and tall windows let in plenty of natural light. Studying or working here is a dream. You'll find stressed students and corporate slaves alike lounging about. One particularly interesting thing that happens at Moniker is you get a lot of families and groups of people with kids stopping by on their day out at Liberty Station. I come here once or twice a month when I feel bored of the usual cafes and want something more spacious and less packed. But I always, always have one specific disappointment... My only (and big) issue with Moniker is their drinks--the actual coffees and teas they make and sell. Everything tastes rather bland for a drink that you are charged $10 on. As I was sipping my chai latte drink, the second drink I asked them to make after my first order of the Tiramisu Latte was not having a tiramisu vibe at all--I realized I didn't even like their chai! I was too nervous to ask for a second re-make, and I felt defeated. I wish I had gone to Starbucks instead. I have been to a dozen cafes in San Diego and Moniker's chai is special to me for tasting like shitty syrup. If you come here, pick something safe that's hard to screw up. Perhaps a black coffee, tea, or a lemonade. I wouldn't try a latte or crafted drink unless you're really okay with whatever comes out of their gorgeous cafe. ----- 3/5 STARS + Aesthetics + Name brand (people like Moniker as a local hotspot) - Drinks taste bad (in my opinion)
