Found this place in Yelp. They are at the farmers market. Owner gave me some samples of the meat. It was delicious. I'm a smoker myself so my standards are high. Bought a rack of spare ribs, 4 pounds of brisket, sausage links, beans, and Mac N cheese. The owner threw in pork belly, and pulled pork. It was all delicious, my crew enjoyed every bit of it. I won't say how much it was but it was cheap! We will be back soon. They also have huge baked potatoes with all the meat and topping that looked great. read more

We were searching for lunch to feed our work crew that was at the Soboba Casino. The owners were very accommodating for our large order and let us sample items that we might want to add to the order prior to ordering large amounts. Everything was great and it is some of the best BBQ that I have had since moving away from Austin TX!!! Brisket was cooked beautifully, pork belly was great, and the ribs were delicious and makes you eat too much ...but in a good way!! What I know as "cowboy beans" you gotta try, think they just call it brisket beans, they have great flavor. Overall you can't go wrong with whatever you order. I saw people ordering the loaded bake potatoes, and I will definitely have to try one of those sometime...they looked fantastic. If in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by the San Jacinto Farmers Market and look them up. read more

This place is hands down THE BEST BBQ I have EVER HAD in my entire life! Everything thing they make here is amazing, but my absolute favorites are the brisket, the brisket bacon, the ribs, the hot link sausage, the banana pudding, the loaded baked potato, the agua fresca, the breakfast taco... you know what - just every thing! Everything here is just so good. The brisket and brisket bacon has this amazing dry rub seasoning thing that is so flavorful and the meat is always cooked to perfection (like, melt in your mouth good). Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here and the owners are so nice... really awesome family! They are usually at the San Jacinto Farmer's Market on Thursdays and Sundays and at some of the events at Soboba. I wish they had a permanent spot so I can eat from here more times during the week. I don't even look at the prices anymore because the food speaks for itself... By the time Sunday rolls around again, I feel like a 'feen having brisket withdrawals. It's truly addicting. read more

Wow!!!! Best BBQ Brisket sandwich that I've ever had and I've had my share. Found them at Bertling Ranch a couple weeks ago and the owner that was behind the big Smoker on a trailer called me over and handed me a generous sample. Thought it was great but just had my lunch. I've been waiting ever since to go back and have a sandwich. Today I went back to Bertling Ranch and like a said WOW! Super flavorful and melts in your mouth! Delicious!!! read more

We were visiting the area at a nearby church and they were recommended by a couple of friends and WOW! We were so glad we gave them a try. The food was phenomenal!!! We had the brisket and pork belly with brisket beans, mac n cheese and potato salad! Then they threw in a banana pudding for us since it is our Anniversary! Everything was so tasty and the owner and team were very friendly and hospitable. If you love barbecue, we highly recommend giving them a chance. You won't be disappointed! We got the sampler and a loaded brisket potato. Man I don't know how they cook the potato but even the skin is delicious. They even let us sample before we ordered. The bacon brisket is sooooo yummy. The first time I tried it, I was given a sample. Brisket. It was tender and tasty! I was intrigued enough to order a small mac n cheese. It was delicious! It tasted like it had been smoked, which I LOVED. I went back a couple weeks later to order a full meal. I spent $36 and the portions did not match the price. It was small for the cost... The brisket tasted the same, yum! But the mac n cheese didn't have the same flavor. The customer service is good. I just wish the portions for meals were realistic. read more

Amazing beef brisket and fully loaded baked potatoes with beef or bacon brisket or with pulled pork pork. Did I mention the baked potato is huge deal with delicious mac & cheese as well they must try their barbecue sauce. Also is excellent. Should be bottled. Great customer service. They are just beautiful people and I've become addicted to the barbecue. Look forward to Thursday and Sundays when they're at the open market. Try them you will not be disappointed.
