This was a really good choice - brought my car in for a smog test and didn't have to wait very long. The gentleman that helped me was pretty quick and they even have a coupon you can find through their website. Def will come here again. read more

This Place is a waste $80 Dollars for a Standard smog check Every other place is doing it for $50 Flat lol rip off

This is NOT a test only place!! His repair shop is NEXT DOOR!! Do not ever go here! And shock, I didn't pass and was charged $51.00 of the $60.00. The lady in the office waiting had been there for TWO HOURS and the guy was just supposed to be working on her HORN... I went around the corner to look in to see what he was doing and he was chillin in the car not doing anything! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! read more

Had to get my 1996 car smog tested. Call around a few places and finally ended up here. They were quick and professional. Went over to the Taco Bell to grab a bite to eat and when I can back the car was done shortly. Prices are reasonable and in line with the other places I called. read more

I found them highly professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. They were very fast with a reasonable rate

Corona Test Only - My G getting smogged - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Corona, California

I am a mechanic. I know when my vehicle will pass a smog. The guy took my vehicle in plugged into it with his computer and begin the test. My truck passed the smog test with no problems. When we are done the guy tells me it failed because of a visual inspection. This is just one of those smoke shops that like to sit there and collect your money without passing your vehicle. They get Star certification because of how many vehicles fail not by how many pass. The more vehicles that fail the better their Star certification is. $80 is a ridiculous amount to charge for a smog. They charge you a ridiculous amount to pay for all the customers they don't get. Take an extra 3 seconds and find a better shop. read more

Corona Test Only - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Corona, California

brought my car in for a smog check and went very smoothly. There was not much waiting time and the staff was friendly.

Great service. Quick and at the agreed price. Very nice owner/manager/tec! I called in and asked if they would be able to see me soon and they said open now and to come down. I was able to get in and out of here very quickly. I would recommend giving them a chance to earn your business. This was my 3rd or 4th time here. read more

I was hesitant to come here after reading some of the reviews but after going to three different smog stations with 5 star reviews in the area between 8:00am and 8:30am and finding all of them closed even though they all listed opening hours at 8:00 am I didn't have a choice since I needed to get to work. I called ahead to make sure they were open. The woman who answered the phone Norma informed me that they were and that a smog would be $60. She then asked if I had any coupons. When I said I did not she told me that she would give me $15 off anyway and they could take me right then. I arrived at 8:35 and was out by 8:55 with my smog certificate in hand. I normally don't write very many reviews but felt that since my experience was so opposite of many reviews I owed it to them :) read more

This place is clean and quick. They are very helpful and honest. They will tell you the truth and check your car if it's ready for testing not like other smog station that only wants to take your money. And I noticed that if people putting a bad review is only because they have failed the smog test. They are also friendly and also do auto registration services and you can get your renewal tags or license plates there quick and easy. read more

Only came to this location because I waited till the last minute to get my smog tested. The guy inside was very nice, but he charged me $80!!!! That is a lot of money the last time I checked! definitely won't be coming back. read more

I am fairly new to the area, but I must say it didn't take long to get the smog check done on my truck. The owner was pretty quick on getting it done. The receptionist (Norma) provided good customer service, she was very polite and also shared information about living in Corona. I will definitely be returning when we need our smog again. They also have the service of you obtaining you tags there with them which beat the trip going to the dmv. read more

Have had a vehicle for 35 years, this is the first time I have gone to a Smog Center that I want to come back to, this is why: 1) The lady who helped me was extremely nice and helpful. 2) It was the cleanest smog center I've ever been to. 3) Clean waiting area with a TV and magazines. It was the most positive Smog Center experience I've ever had. Thank you so much for your professional and efficient treatment. See you next time I need a family vehicle smogged!!! read more

The service was prompt and awesome. They were professional, and knew what they were doing. I will definitely use them again. Great rate.

First place I went to and their machine failed me. I spent $62 dollars where other places charge $35. Worst place to get a smog check in Corona. There are smog places off Magnolia Avenue which are cheaper and don't rip you off by making come back to take a re-test. They also charge $35 for a re-test where other places only charge $8.50. read more

Do NOT Go HERE - Recently had car work done in order to pass the smog, I took it here for a smog they charged me $51.75 and said it failed due to, "OBDI Monitors NOT READY". They said that I need to drive the car 150 miles and take it back for a re-test in which they will charge me another $40.00. I'm not an expert in the SMOG business - They could have saved me $50 by asking one simple question which is - did you recently had car work done? my answer would have been yes, and they could've informed me to bring it back after driving 150 miles. I was upset all day about this $50 is a lot of money, I called they said I should have let them know that I just had work done on the car and there is a sign in the office that I apparently didn't read. Everything passed except the OBDI monitors not ready, they said the only reason it failed was because of the recent work done. So now if I take it back I will be charged another $40. I'd rather word extra and take it to another Test Only Center that looks out for their customers. I live in the area and like to support small businesses and was very upset that I was expected to report to them, who are the experts, that I had work done on my car. Overall Test Results - Not Ready Visual Inspection - Pass Functional Inspection: Not Ready OBDII Monitors - Not Ready End of the test - Corona Test Only, "Oh did you have work done on the car recently?". Me, "yes, I didn't know I needed to disclose that". Corona Test Only, "well that's why it didn't pass. Bring it back after you drive 150 miles - we will then only charge you another $40" read more

I can't even give these people half a star because I called in for a quote and the lady quoted me $80.00 for a smog of a 2004 Toyota sienna. Thats double the price of so many places. I asked her why and she says that's been the price for 20years! 20 years ago, gas was only around $1.00 so how could a smog be that expensive!! What a rip off!! read more

Went to this place because of star certified place. They said truck failed. so I put truck in shop to get it fixed in order to pass smog test. I spent about 700 dollars on it and took to truck for re-test. Said failed again. hard to believe it because my truck runs so smoothly and never had any problems. I decided to check yelp about this place. I was so surprised that they got low rates and do fail on vehicles. So I decided to take truck to other place. Guess what truck passed the test!!! It is so sad that this place is not honest place... Whats more-- other place charged only 40 dollars on my truck. Something for you to think twice about this place. Just listen yelp rates and reviews. They surely helped a lot! Thanks Yelp!!! read more

Passed smog and all emissions test but this guy failed me on a visual. Talked to a mechanic and his exact words where, "what a dick he failed you for that". Don't go to this place. He failed the two people in front of me too. It looks like this guy is trying to get retest fees off of people. BAD BUSINESS* just beware of the guy offering you discounts over the phone. read more

Went yesterday afternoon. Waited 30 min. Paid $60. Done. I encountered nothing negative here.

Went to this place because we had to go to a Star certified place. First they wanted to charge us 70$ for a smog test. Everyone else in the Penny saver only charges 60$, so we walked out. Then they came out and said they would only charge us 60$, so we decided to get the test since we were already their. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Our vehicle failed and they said a re-test is going to cost us 40$ when most everyone else does a FREE re-test!! What a rip off! Now we have to go pay someone else another 60$. Alls they want is your money, and to rip you off!!! read more

THIS PLACE DOES NOT RETEST. My car failed the smog since I changed the battery some days ago. They said I had to run 50 miles more to be able to pass it. This place is a scam. read more

This is my first Yelp review. I was real hesitant going here after all the negative reviews, but I needed to get my daughters car smogged and this was right around the corner from my house ( + I had a coupon) my daughter just got home from school and needed to go to work, I had less then an hour to get it done as she's very busy, so I figured what the heck I'll take my chances. Anyways, I had a great experience and was in and out in less then 20 min. The tech was nice, the secretary was nice. I had a positive experience. Oh yeah passing helps too. $40. Out the door. read more

I came to this location because it is local and in a good shopping center. The shop looks clean and taken care of with a good sized waiting area that is air-conditioned. I thought it was pretty cool that they also offered dmv services like registration renewal, license plates, tags, and change of address. I'm sure there were a few more that I am forgetting to mention. The owner/technician was nice and the service was fast. Overall, my experience was good. No complaints here. read more

Great Service! I came in here about a week ago to get my car checked but was told I needed to put more miles on it before I can drive it again. So I came in a week later and they checked to see if it would be ready to test and it was. My car passed and they charge $80. If you get the coupon from the penny saver its $60 or go online and print one off. Definitely do not go to the place AAA recommends their awful and don't give you a copy of the report come here instead! read more

I had my smog test for my Saturn Vue last Saturday morning. Upon arrival I had a friendly greeting by Norma, the receptionist. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Both the receptionist and the mechanic are professional and knowledgeable in their trade. Before signing any paper work, the mechanic asked me if I had any work done for my car that might reset the car computer. Then I signed the paper work showing the exact fees. The test took about 15 minutes and my car passed. I will definitely come back to this friendly place for my other cars to be tested. read more
