I needed a smog check and came across this place from Yelp. I called ahead to see if I need an appointment prior to coming in. I was told to just come in as it's a first come first serve service. They charge $50 for smog check only if the car passes. The address is correct as it took me to the right place, easy to find, and the person that helped me was straight forward. He asked for some information about the car, and then got on with the test. After the car passes, I paid the fee and was on my way. I've been driving by needing smog on something Ive had sitting around & since Christmas noticed he was closed all week so I was wondering if he was on vacation. Time slipped away and now I just heard this . He was so mellow and so kind. I had a car that didn't pass and I mentioned the battery had died so he pulled it up on line the things I had to do to help it readjust and so I did and came back and it passed. He was legit! Drove approx. 18 miles for a SMOG test earlier today and they were CLOSED. I arrived after 10:00AM. Closed Sign near the door. All bay doors closed. There were quite a few vehicles parked in the front area blocking the bay doors. They appeared to be inventory stored there for the adjacent Used Car Dealership. Their website is up and running with no mention of a temporary closure. Based on what I saw, I wonder if they have gone out of business..?? Since I have to give a Star Rating, I will give one star. My understanding is the stars are based on the service.. * I see quite a few 5 Star ratings, I hope everything is alright and this closure is Temporary. read more

There are so many places that are cheaper and more accommodating. Be careful not to get ripped off here. Make sure to have your coupon be the first thing to give to them, if you do decide to go here. They don't ask you for it and write up and start before telling you. Then say it's too late to use it. Went in thinking of spending $36.85 + 8.25 cert fee but was charged way over $60. My elderly dad went to get his car smog checked and told them he had the coupon but they wouldn't take it because it was too late, even before he had paid. read more

After getting my vehicle out of storage for almost 7 years due to being stationed overseas via the military, I needed a smog certificate to complete my registration. When I arrived at the location, a customer was ahead of me so I parked in the open parking space in front of the garage. After about 15 minutes, that customer was done and Zak motioned me to move the vehicle to the garage. We had a nice conversation and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. I paid $45 for my BWM 328i which included a military discount. He also gave me a Red Bull since he knew I was going to the DMV and would be waiting in line for a while. Thank you, Zak! read more

Fantastic STAR location that offers test only smog check services. I arrived at 3pm with no appointment, and was promptly greeted by the gentleman who quickly began to start the process. The entire process took about 7 minutes in which I was in and out, passing the first time. I should also mention that this is a pass or don't pay location. I recommend visiting their website to download their coupon, which makes the cost $40 total. Overall great experience. This guys purposely pulls out vacuum hose and tell me it needs to be replaced. The vehicle is a 2002 and why would you need to pull out the vacuum hose causing it to cracked. If you know about car. In the engine compartment, it gets hot. Eventually vacuum hoes will crack if you touch it or try to pull it out. My vehicle pass emissions but the failed the visual inspection. He wanted me to fix the cracked vacuum hose which he caused. A visual check mean you only look if something is missing or broken/cracked visually. I told him it's a 20yrs old vehicle, please don't touch any of the vacuum hoses. I had no choice but to fix it and come back to get my smog certificate . Some of these reviews are fake on here, just like Amazon. Be cautious going here. read more

First time going here. It's tucked in off the street. If it weren't for the Smog Check flags, I would've missed it. I went here because of the Check In coupon. Normally, I go to another smog check, but inflation sucks! I waited for the technician, Zaki, to finish another customer's car which didn't take long (5 minutes). Very limited parking since it is shared with another mechanic business. I parked off the driveway while I waited. Can you say tight? Zaki knows his job and is thorough. Good thing there is a two person bench with a shade to sit under while he worked on the car. I didn't realize I had a problem with my battery until he shut off the car. Then it wouldn't start. He was kind enough to get my car jumped so he could continue with the test. My aftermarket catalytic converter passed. I would've passed the test but I didn't know a broken dipstick handle would cause a fail. I was able to come back later that day with a working dipstick and it passed! After looking around for smog shops open on Memorial Day, we ended up at Norco Smog. We were serviced quickly and the owner was extremely nice. He asked my daughter her name, gave her apple juice, and called her up to let her know the car passed the smog check. If I could leave zero stars I would. I type this review while I wait at Corona Smog Test, which I'm highly recommending. It's been a year since I took my Toyota Tacoma to Norco Smog. They failed it then because my catalytic converter needed to be replaced since the i/m readiness for catalytic wasn't ready. That's totally understandable, and fair. Fast forward a year later, I believe that the change of ownership happened around this time line. I swapped my catalytic converter and I/m readiness was good to go. When I arrived there today for the smog I noticed that there was a blue BMW in the garage and learned that it belonged to the technician. I thought it was a little unprofessional given the fact that the garage space is needed for rear drive vehicles.. my Tacoma is rear drive. At the time I didn't think to much of it to be honest. After the technician checked my ECU and saw that I was good to go for the smog he opened my hood. I need to add that it was about 4:10 PM and there were two people waiting for me (Front wheel drive vehicles) to finish my smog... they close at 5PM. So he opens my hood and tells me that I failed a visual because the end of my hose PCV hose was cracked. I tell him that they can be cut and re inserted, and he says that I can't cut them because they aren't long enough, but clearly they are and clearly he can cut them and reinsert them, but he didn't want to. The fact is that this technician was the laziest human being alive. He didn't want to smog my car because he didn't want to move his BMW out of the garage. This is the type of individual who looks to do less work. I know that he is not the owner because if he was he would have solved the problem. This technician lost the owner a customer. Guess what you lazy technician... I just passed smog in the same hour you failed me at Corona Smog Center. All they did was cut the PCV hoses for me... don't waste your time with this place. read more
