Nikki confirmed a 11 appt with me for Rolfing when I knocked on the door no answer she finally opened the door when I called by phone and said geez this is been happening to me all week meaning messing up appts told me she couldn't take me and my next appt would be free. For the mistake Then she text me yesterday and tells me she not the right fit. Cancels my appt and refunds my money. Wow I am Not the right fit. She is not the right fit for forgetting and appt after I drive there o n time for my 11. Appt And then turns the tables on me (the customer ) and blames me I would find another reliable rolfer. I am a physician who lives with hemophilia and was a client of Nikki's for 3 years. I came to her during my residency training as my feet were collapsing during rounds. I got great help form her for the first two years of knowing her. I visited her frequently because my training would put so much demand on my body that it broke often. After working with her for about a year and half, she introduced me to Rolf movement. At first, she told me it would help me move away from needing to get treatments weekly, and I was interested in this because sessions were expensive as a resident. In trying to teach me Rolf movement, however, my experience was troublesome at first and then horrific. Because I have greatly abnormal joints, I was often not feeling or experiencing the effect Nikki sought and so my sessions with her were mostly troubleshooting. I graduated residency and was more able to spend money to see Nikki and I started seeing her 2-3 times weekly. However, my body was declining and I was considering back surgery. Nikki's sessions moved completely away from body work and she would only do Rolf movement with me despite my protests. Nikki had me doing "feet on the wall", "hands on the wall" for hours on end, "eagle exercuse" even though it would hurt my back. I would go home and keep working on trying to get the form she wanted but my body felt worse and worse. She told me many times that in her own life, she went through periods of great pain and suffering learning from her own teacher. Hearing this from her, as her client for 2 years, I thought I just had to persevere. One day, I met with her and Chris Amodeo, a contemporary of hers, because my back pain and debility were so great, I was preparing to stop working and she chuckled when I told her I had no income if I stop working. Chris merely told me to scream into a pillow when my pain is very bad. Nikki would often laugh at me when my form looked bad or when I complained I felt pain. In desperation, I visited Michael Salveson, Jan Sultán, superiors of hers, neither of whom was able to help, but finally Elliot Blackman, a DO who had a very long waiting list finally opened up his practice to me in July 2022. The day the appointment opened up, I booked a flight and saw Dr Blackman and literally the next day, my body miraculously popped into feeling well, pain free, and remarkably athletic again. I reported this to Nikki and she was happy for me but insisted we keep doing Rolf Movement teaching. I visited her for a session and in this session, she rolfed my elbows while I did "hands on the wall". While she was Rolfing me though, I could tell that she was forcing my elbows straight and I also told her I felt a lot of pain, and she told me, "this is what you asked for". I told her to stop and she did. I left the session shaken. Unfortunately, my body declined greatly after her treatment. I visited Jan Sultan shortly after and told him about the incident and Jan told me she injured me and when I reported this to Nikki she told me I was a psychopath and that I was no longer her client. I did confront Nikki with a friend because I felt uncomfortable around her shortly after to ask for a refund for the last treatment since she injured me and she began to yell and scream that I was a psychopath. Again, I was shaken and left. She later texted me that she was sorry but could not offer me a refund or keep me as a client. I replied back that I was not interested in returning. I caution people who have chronic pain issues to avoid Nikki. She is practicing beyond her ability. read more

Basing this off of an inquiry...I would like to preface that I have not seen this person for the services to which she offers. This lady is clearly not looking to gain new clients which is totally fine. I inquire about her services thru a private messages. To which she follows up with several questions? Then asks me in a condescending manner why I am interested in rolfing...I answer honestly...then no response. So I ask if she's still in business, and then proceeds to ask me why I'm being combative! (Ok Karen) I'm reaching out to come see you for your services, and then you have the audacity to be rude. Went to see Nikki today. She is delightful and has such a good energy about her. I came in today because I have had chronic arm pain/discomfort for the last 5 years, in my arms and hands . This is not your typical spa massage. I have had Rolfing done in the past, and it is pretty uncomfortable. However, her Rolfing was not uncomfortable. It was way more relieving! When I was 15 I had spinal fusion surgery for my scoliosis. Unfortunately, I've been hurt more than helped when going to Chiropractors when my body was "out of whack" When living in FL I had remembered seeing a flyer about something called "Rolfing". I decided to look it up and see if it was something that was done here in CA. Surprisingly it was!! I met Nikki for the first time back in 2010. I did my 10 sessions with her and have continued to come to her when my body is "out of whack". She is amazing in what she does. She reads your body posture and movements and knows immediately what needs to be done. She always has great advice and coaches you on how to do some exercises on your own. I do not trust anyone else when I am in pain. Nikki is always my first call. If you have been suffering with pain, perhaps some Rolfing will give you relief. read more

I can't say enough about Corona Rolfing. I started see her a few years ago and did my initial ten series. Nicole fixed issues with my knees and shoulders that no one has been able to fix for over 10 years (dance instructors, physical therapists, massage therapists...). Since then, I have gone to see her on occasion, most recently to help me correct a very badly sprained ankle. Even my husband has said that out of all the "things I've tried" (see above and add acupuncture) this has been the only thing he has seen help me. Nicole is a delight to do business with. She is friendly, helpful, and communication is a breeze. I too did most of my communication via email, but unlike another review I never had any issues. Nicole always returned my emails promptly, and gave me an option or two for session times and dates to choose from. I tell everyone about Nicole and Corona Rolfing. If all you have ever done is massage or chiropractic, this may feel a little different to you but it is totally worth it. read more

My initial appointment with Nicole, it was around 5pm, and she was expecting more of a consult and I wanted body work (I wasn't new to rolfing) and knew I needed it. She spent almost 3 hours working on my messed up body (left around 8pm)! Now, her consults are free, and she didn't expect payment and I thought, what? How sweet is she? I paid her. Nicole's knowledge of how our bodies work, and should be working is absolutely phenomenal. I have been with her for over 10 years and she is always able to correct every single one of my numerous issues. I've had MD's/chiro's tell me I've pulled muscles, torn muscles or cysts in my knees, etc.. and then I go to Nicole and she fixes it in one session. She finds and corrects the root issues and not the symptoms. I've learned to see her first! She knows bodies and another one of her best qualities is her desire to keep learning and keep progressing, even though she is already fantastic. That shows her love for her profession, which is what we all want in health care practitioners. Nikki has been amazing. I had knee injuries after my second child and I tried everything out there in terms of opening muscle tension. To speed healing. I was amazed at how I came in for one thing and by doing the 10 series how my body changed. I am standing straight and my tension is free. Now I know when I need a tune up session. My interaction with Nicole was frustrating. I didn't feel like I could get a straight or complete answer as to any of my questions. She couldn't be bothered. She preferred to communicate by email but took some time to respond to emails. Her responses were short and not responsive. After a week of emailing back and forth, I still didn't get an appointment and I never got basic questions answered, such as, how long is a session? She seemed like she could care less about me, my pain, or my business. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere. read more

I have multiple injuries to back, neck, shoulders, feet, ankles, knees, chronic pain in my hip for which doctors said I would have to have a hip replacement. I have gone through the ten step Rolfing program and it has helped me tremendously walking straight and has also helped my carpel tunnel syndrome. It has removed the pain in my hip joints . It has been well over six months ago when I went through the program and I am still feeling relief.
