I was really interested in ordering a cake, due to all the photos I seen. They all look really…read morenice! Except when I proceeded to book a cake with her, she told me it was $60 totally which I think is pretty reasonable. But, when I asked her for the flavors that she had to offer, she stated she would need a $30 deposit first to hold my spot (totally understandable) but also to show me the list of flavors she has to offer. I was expressed that I would love to see the list of flavors first before I book anything and she said, that was just her rules. Never have I ever heard of such a ridiculous rule. It's like going to a restaurant and they make you pay $30 to see the menu first. That's ridiculous!

I am extremely disappointed in the order my family received for my mother in laws 70th birthday…read moreparty. Not only was it almost impossible to communicate with this place other than email ..I'm confused at this part since the description of this business is listed as all about communication with their customers and that is clearly not the case. They will not even speak to you on the phone, it must be through email. ......what I ordered and even sent pictures of (to their email) is not what we received. The cookies although tasted great were not readable at all since the writing was done in the same color as the frosting. The cake pops were beautiful but were absolutely not edible. They had no flavor at all. Now the cake....the cake was a leaning tower of cake mess that by the grace of God never fell. The house was kept at 67 degrees too so it NEVER got even warm...after cutting into the cake we quickly realized the cake leaning was not the worst part...it turned into a dry crumbling hot embarrassing mess. The guests were very polite and understanding about the disaster of this dessert table from "Steph's Desserts" but the embarrassment that we were left with will never be forgotten.... I do not mind paying professional bakery prices when you receive professional service and items. This unfortunately is not the case with this business...

We were looking for a bakery to buy some cakes in Fresno area because it was the kiddo's birthday,…read moreand Yelp was able to show me this bakery. The bakery is located in a shopping plaza at Shaw and it looks like one of those high-end places in Fresno. So we found a bakery, which was at that time for people dining inside and outside because they do have brunch menu. luckily we're able to find that there's a separate line for the bakery items and the line, although ling, was quick when it was our turn. We had difficulty choosing which cakes to get but we were able to ask around what are the recommendations we were able to get their top selling cake which is a vanilla cake that has fruit compote in the middle and fruits as decoration. I think it was around $47 for this particular cake. When we got home, it kept well when we had our birthday celebration. We didn't have to put it back in the fridge. By the time we got to eating the cake. It was perfectly thawed and surprisingly delicious. It was moist and full of the fruit compote - they did not skimp on the fruit. It was lovely and highly recommended. When I come back to Fresno, I'd probably try their brunch items. Four stars for their cake.

No update in ratings/service needed... Still phenomenal…read more I just had to pop in and say how much I love and appreciate how friendly the staff is..... suuuper nice and it's a breath of fresh air. I waited longer than I should have for another visit but I was trying not to go overboard on bread/sweets... was waiting on the text (which they said they would) when Halo-Halo was back and they most certainly did that!!! Granted, it was after I saw an IG post that it was back, but they still went out of their way to text me too-- AND, they were there past closing time (after I got off work) so that my friends and I could go for the goods (Halo-Halo & some baked yums)... thank youuu! The Halo-Halo was perfection.

This place is like a hole in the wall type of Bakery. I'm only grading it a two stars because the…read moreday I had visit, there was literally nothing on their shelf. Everything was completely gone and empty so that tells me that their staff is not attentive to their inventory or their display items. I think they need to be more considerate of future customers who will visit anytime throughout the day of their open hours and just have something presentable. The only thing I got to try was their halo halo , which the kind lady had explained to me that they make their Ube sauce, homemade straight from their kitchen. I was excited enough for that part, but after tasting their obey, I wasn't quite thrown away by it. Also, I just want to know that their Ube bread that was available. There was only like two trays left for sale and I was just not very stoked out to even make a purchase because everything was so empty and so I just kind of didn't even bother to make a purchase, but my aunt did pick up one tray and so I was kinda able to taste that pastry item and if I have to be honest, I believe I've had it before but anyways if I'm in the mood for any Ube bread, I would just purchase it at my local Asian market.
