This is my second time purchasing the ice from Cold Star…read more Great place to pick up your ice needs! Purchased huge bag of ice as well as 100 pounds of block ice to make shaved ice at home. Pricing is good for what you are getting! The people are friendly, quick and very helpful. They helped take the ice right to my car and right into the ice chests I had ready. What a kind gentlemen to offer to do that. So don't worry if you don't think you can handle carrying the ice. A little advice: Don't forget to bring several clean ice chests with you when you pick up your ice. Place purchased ice right in them. Make sure you have muscles to take them out of your vehicle once home or at your event. Or transfer them to another ice chest to save your back. Block ice will last a few days in a sealed ice chest even if left under the patio outside. Will be back when I need lots of ice again. Especially Block Ice! Shaved ice is the best!
