OMG his place was insane!! And not in a good way. This course is so poorly maintained that the staff clearly covered up the tears and holes with immediate attention by throwing brick tiles over them. What a disaster! See picture for details - the frickin' tree roots were intervening in the actually golf course! The watersports staff also only accepts cash and there is not an ATM near the plaza. I went with 7 of my friends and we all thought that this could have even been a money laundering scheme considering there were piles of dirt and shovels and crap around every course. Now, complaining about a golf course sounds a little bit silly compared to the real problems in the world but this is a yelp review and in the end I have to say that his place needs to be avoided. Go to Adventure golf right down the street. I should have checked yelp before we all got into the car... Also, the only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because out of all 7 of us, I came in 1st!! Go me!! read more

The only good thing about visiting this course is that your group can laugh about how comically terrible it is. Cheap course, still not worth the money. I'd rather get shanked in the parking lot than go through 18 holes of this. Timbuck 2 deserves so much better, I'm truly excited for the sea levels to rise and get this place. read more

Thank you Corolla Water Sports for an awesome jet ski and boating experience. All employees were chill, friendly and super helpful. Ashley helped us with our rental choices. She explained the different options and was super friendly. We rented jet skis for our teenage boys and they had a great time! Eli stayed on a jet ski close to them and helped my younger son get back on when he fell off the jet ski. We also rented a pontoon boat and Loyd was very nice to my father who was nervous about the choppy waters. We had Shady as our boat guide and he was so nice and helpful! Thanks to all the staff! This place is garbage. There are tripping hazards, ripped turf, and ALL of the holes Thrace gaps between the green and the collapsing brick borders. The silver cups around every hole push the ball away. There aren't any real obstacles on this course. Not sure what I just spent so much money on, but please don't want the same mistake. read more

Passing marks on the jet ski experience. I like the course they have laid out in the water and the jets skis were nice. Staff was friendly but no one wears a mask, social distances or cleans anything off, if that matters to you during the summer of Covid. read more

we spent $50 on this horrible course for five of us to have a miserable time putting through the exact same greens 18 times in a row. there was not a single obstacle on this entire course other than the rips and divots in the course resulting from the terrible staff maintenance. i'd rather drag my balls through 3 miles of sharded glass and 5 miles of hot coals than even putt one more green on this sorry ass course. the only thing that was semi enjoyable was laughing at how terrible this course really is and seeing a few bunny's, which were covered in ticks. we had to pick multiple ticks off of us, which is a result of the horribly overgrown grass and shrubs around the course. read more

Amazing pontoon boat rental!!! Lloyd was awesome - so friendly and accommodating - he even jet-skied an ice tea to us on the water!!!

I've been to Corolla Watersport twice- once for a pontoon boat rental and once (more recently) to go parasailing. I'm glad to say that both of those times, the reliable staff made my family and I feel very safe. It's in a great location as well! read more

This golf course was not worth $8. The customer service was non-existent. Once we began golfing, we were underwhelmed by the creativity and maintenance of the course. All of the greens had divots. The hedges and shrubs were unkempt, overgrown, and encroached on the greens of half of the holes. The janky cups at each hole made it nearly impossible to tap the balls in because they were so crunched up all around the rim. Finally there was a very strong odor that lingered over the entire course, likely from the stagnant muck water. read more

This place is terrible. Greens suck. Employees suck. Even the putters suck. The obstacles suck there's only a few rocks placed around the course as "obstacles." My family came and we all nearly got poison ivy. The only cool thing is that at hole 10 they had a garden gnome but that's about it. There was a big buildup to hole 18 and it was just a normal plain hole. 15/18 holes had zero obstacles and were straight greens. They were all the same. Nothing was unique. IF U ARE DECIDING WHERE TO MINI GOLF DONT COME HERE IT SUCKS SO MUCH. can't believe I paid $8 for this terrible course...... plenty of better courses around go those please not this one. read more

Went there and waited in line, then they ran out of cash and had to go and get more. 15 minutes later was informed that they weren't allowed to send anyone else out as they were closing. Come for the bad service, leave as you won't get golf. read more

Huge signs everywhere saying open late... Website brags about the lights... Got there at 6:15pm had to search for an employee who had his feet up on a counter. Asked if he ran the mini golf his response was "yes but we are closed actually everything is closing". I asked if they were going out of business he replied with no just close at 6:30. He did say we could go through and putt putt if we could finish in 15 minutes. Lol this is an 18 hole course no way.... We went less than a mile down the road to Corolla adventure golf and had a great time. read more

Do NOT try out this course! My family just finished a run and we were absolutely disgusted with the quality of the course. They have about four decent courses, the first 3 and the 18th, just enough to make you think it is decent. The night we went they didnt even have an 11th hole, it was just a pile of dirt. The only obstacles on the course were paving blocks and decorative stones strewn about the holes with no creative instinct behind it, and a couple frogs from the nearby water. Don't be fooled by the nice looking greens on the roadside, it soon deteriorates to simple ragged "greens" that are only worthy for frogs to hop on, not mini-golf. Save yourself and your family the disappointment and go a few minutes down the road to Adventure Golf or look at other possibilities! read more

I'd like to preface this by saying I am a generally caring person and this is my first time giving negative feedback about a place, but I was so disappointed I felt it necessary to share. This place was the worst course I have ever played on. My family of 8 went to play and after we paid and headed toward the first hole the cashier said "by the way hole 11 is closed" which should have been our first of many clues being that she waited for payment before mentioning that. Truthfully all of the holes should have been closed. The greens are falling apart, the holes look like Pringles cans cut in half and wrapped in foil. The only "obstacles" are different cement pavers placed around the course. Menards must have been running a heck of a sale. There were weeds growing on the side of the greens. There are very few lights that light the courses accurately. And although we could have left after a few holes we decided that it was too entertaining to not see all of it and let's face it, my family has fun no matter what we are doing. They strategically redid hole 18 which sits up front to fool those about to pay money to golf there. And to top it off, when we told them we were unhappy and thought their maintenance of the greens was nonexistent they didn't apologize and said and I quote "some people who golf here say it's the best course they have ever played" to which we had to giggle. If I were you, I would go down the road to adventure golf, which sadly was our first game plan until we saw this "course" on the way back from go carting. read more

Definitely lower end of mini golf scene. Greens not kept up with grass covering most of the edges. No score tables. All greens very uninteresting. Huge worn patches. 18th green starts 1/3 of the way in, instead of making repairs. $8.00. One good thing, no lines to play at a fourth rate course! read more
