STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!
I went with this company because they had 5 star reviews and I was impressed by their customer reviews, customer service up front and design team. Worst decision I ever made. Where do I begin... Apparently, this company has taken a huge nosedive over the last year. Seems there have been major staffing issues, at least in the field. They fired our primary contractor mid-job (without telling us) and gave no handoff to the new one, then the new one never verified what needed to be done after the old one was terminated.
I have had leaks in my ceiling from faulty plumbing installation, backwards hot and cold faucets. LOL they "forgot" to hook my entire HVAC up after working on it. They installed broken equipment fixtures and never tested them before sealing them up, we had thousands of dollars of my spouses' tools stolen out of our house while contractors where there. We've had electrical malfunctions, loose plumbing fixures, blowing fuses, sloppy work, "forgotten baseboards", non functional electrical throughout half our bedroom, flashing lights with power surges, no final walk-through, oh I forgot to mention, they didnt hook up my exhaust system to the furnace so it was exhausting into my basement ( good thing I found it or i'd be dead from Carbon monoxide poisoning!!!) They drilled holes in the house exterior for new exhaust pipes for our dryer, then left them uncapped and unsealed.. so I basically had giant open holes in the side of my house. Then they dug large holes in my basement floor for pipe work for our basement bathroom and installed a tub over it, never patching them. This was discovered by our Radon man after our levels were found to be sky high... which were from the open holes left in the floor by Cornerstone, the holes so big that it allowed gases from the ground in, overpowering our existing radon system! It's been months since the job was done and I have had them out several times to fix major plumbing and electrical issues. Just last night, while taking a bath I was alerted by my wife that water was pouring into our kitchen from the ceiling- yet another pipe burst from our Cornerstone renovated master bedroom upstairs. I come downstairs to find my wife and kids with buckets and cups and anything they can find catching water as it pours from around my door moldings onto the floor. It never ends. I can't put into words how disappointed and pissed off I am.
I had a few small requests for them, install a few floating shelves for dishes in the new bar area, put my lights on dimmers. You'd think I asked for their first born child. I had to ask for months to do these minor things even though it was discussed at our first meeting. Because they didn't write it down, it never happened according to them, and by golly, they aren't going to agree to do anything that "wasn't agreed to or "in the contract". Unbelievable.
They literally told me my job was small potatoes and I didn't matter compared to the big jobs they were doing. Wow. Buyer beware. You have been warned. read more
