If you want it done right--and especially if you have something that requires serious skill, take it to S&S.

It's off the side of one of the major surface street roads and has its own parking. The couple who run it are friendly and seem to have a good business. Initially the wife was a little concerned about whether their partner who does pressing could do a full pleat, but after speaking with him, they confirmed it was doable. I left the skirt with them for dry cleaning and pleat pressing. It took a week and the end result was perfect. It almost looked brand new. Pricing was pretty fair. In terms of dry cleaning and pressing, they are good option to consider.

In reading some of the other reviews for this business, I think people have this expectation that magic can happen and they are the only ones that live on this planet. Plan accordingly people!... if you can't find that a place can't accommodate your impossible schedule that you created for yourself, take your business elsewhere. All the work is done in-house here and organic. Lots of other dry cleaning places (that are less expensive) ship out the garments to another facility so it then becomes a game of transportation and logistics. I know I've been trying to be more environmentally conscious about my decisions, but think about the extra gas it takes to transport garments from the cleaners to another place - it just erks me to think about the wasted fuel as I'm sure all that driving adds up. Soapbox speech over... I was super happy with the service here and will be coming back. It is in the same complex as my work, so very convenient. The day I picked up my suits, their credit card system was being weird and actually didn't charge me. The staff member called and politely asked me to come back in to pay the balance (which was no problem). I came back the next day and she totally remembered me (since the situation was unique). Sometimes I walk by this place to go to Earthfare nearby and the staffer waves at me every time (no fail).

A good experience--…read more I went here recently because it is close to my house and was convenient for me. The woman who helped me was very nice and worked fast in my opinion. I brought in three pairs of jeans: a pair of white J Brand jeans, a pair of Paige boyfriend fit jeans, and a pair of Paige skyline skinny boot cut jeans. I am a new mom and I wear flats all of the time now and needed all of the pants shortened in length. I also had her transform the boot cut jeans into more fitted jeans. Personally, I think she did a great job. If you hold the hem up to your face and compare the stitching to the original on the bluejeans in particular, yes there is a noticeable difference. However, if you were standing next to me you wouldn't notice. When I picked up the three pairs of jeans I was pleased with her work so I dropped off an older pair of gray Paige jeans for her to work on. They are an old favorite of mine and the stitching on the rear pocket needs to be reinforced and I trust her to do the work. Honestly, I don't think I'll be transforming one kind of jeans into another, it ended up looking kind of weird because boot cut jeans fit differently in the butt and thighs than skinny jeans. However, that's my fault for not realizing that before I asked her to do it. The lengths on all the pants are perfect and they look great. Her prices are extremely reasonable too. I will continue to go back to her.
