Edited review: Clean, well-maintained laundry mat. Decent parking lot. Things to do nearby. Accepts card or cash and has a change machine. Employees at dry cleaning are typically kind. Quiet, nice environment to hang at while you do laundry. However, if you drive a bigger vehicle, watch out for the property owner (not to be confused with the business owner). He's a short, white guy with brown hair, tan skin, and super white teeth. He harassed us for parking our van there and "blocking" the lot while we were doing laundry! Photos attached of said blocking. Will give the owner, Jason, major credit for apologizing on his behalf! read more

Best Laundromat in San Diego! Corner Wash on Adams Ave is a total standout. The facility is bright, clean, climate-controlled, and packed with state-of-the-art machines. Every wash uses Ozone-Sanitized water that naturally disinfects without harsh chemicals -- and you can really tell the difference. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and extras like wash & fold and dry cleaning make it a true one-stop shop. Free parking is a bonus too. Highly recommend! read more

Easy parking, very clean, perfect! Had to wash a king size comforter that is too big for my machine. Staff was very helpful and I loved the convenience! I admit I had been dreading using a laundromat but I was pleasantly surprised this one was so nice! read more

We like it a lot here. Perfect for when we wash our couch cushions and rugs. Also conveniently located next to good food/breweries for a bite and a pint after! read more

The communication here is awful. Been dropping clothes off here for years to dry clean. Generally with regular items they can handle it. But throw in a leather jacket or a blazer with a suede trim and the staff here will freak out. I dry cleaned a leather jacket here once and they charged me $75 for it. That wasn't the worst part. They made me sign a release form because it was a specialty fabric releasing them of liability in case anything happened to it under their care. I was willing to sign it. Then after I signed it and left, I received daily voicemails from multiple staff members asking if I had signed the release form yet for a week. Clearly they would rather harass the customer than talk to each other. Today I went to pick up a blazer with a suede trim. Same thing. I dropped it off 2 weeks ago along with a dress. They made me sign the release form for the suede part. Then when I came to pick up both items, only the dress had been cleaned. They said they weren't willing to do the blazer without the release form. But I had signed the release form. Oops they must have lost it. No process around THE RELEASE FORM I guess! I signed a second one and paid for both items and only left with the dress. Today I went back for my blazer. The woman at the counter tried charging me for it again. I gave her my receipt for both items from the previous week, explaining the situation. She looked at her screen and said there was no way to override it, looking at me blankly. Absolutely ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and take your dry cleaning literally anywhere else. Staff can't function here. read more

staff is kind. I don't do well with all the toxic scented laundry products and in this place they clean with ozone overnight. So if you get there early or call them the night before you can find a couple units that haven't been to by the fragrance products. Of course by nine or 10 AM it's going to smell like the usual laundromat in there. read more

Love the upgraded machines here. It is nice that you can tap to pay, who wants to go get coins anymore? The whole process was super easy and didn't have to deal with any lingering dampness on clothes. The dryer totally dried all the clothes on the low setting. Would definitely recommend this laundromat for any normal clothes washes. read more

Used to be a regular here. Stopped going when they took out nearly all of the size machines I use, just to replace them with a larger version, making it virtually impossible for me to get one when I would come in. Felt like a money grab. Staff was indifferent to the feedback. Blonde female attendant was SO RUDE to me and proceeded to talk negatively about me with her coworker. Machine destroyed a sheet set of mine and the owner never called me to discuss, as promised by a staffer. Took my business down the street. Plenty of other options in the area. read more

Corner Wash - Dry Cleaning Near Me - San Diego, California

First visit. Came for the hot water and sanitizing. Realized too late that 6 loads is twice the cost of 4 loads. How does that make sense? I didn't dry, so can't speak to that. Nice place, but the loud machinery on the wall (air?) is problematic for me. Also, the chairs are miserably uncomfortable, and too low for people with bad knees. The attendant was pleasant and responsive to my questions. Probably won't return. read more

They are exposing everyone to abestos as they pull out all their old dryers without closing the business while they are working. Years of mouse droppings and dust fill the air as people are trying to do their laundry. No consideration for their customers only their pocketbooks! Lost my business for good. Any building that old contains both abestos and lead paint, regardless of what the new owner states. I took samples as well as photos to prove my point! read more

I give the owner 5 stars for the remodel and new equipment. I've been coming to this laundromat for a couple of years now. One of the main reasons I keep coming back is because the place itself is very clean and well maintained. You can tell the owner invests in the business, the remodel, newer washers, and newer dryers make it one of the nicer laundromats in the area. I don't mind paying the higher prices because it's a comfortable and clean place to wash clothes. However, over the years I've noticed an ongoing issue with some of the staff. I usually keep to myself, come in, do my laundry, and leave. But I've repeatedly witnessed employees making customers feel uncomfortable by complaining out loud about things that happen during normal laundry use. For example, today I accidentally had a tissue left in a pocket. Anyone who does laundry knows this can happen sometimes, even when you try to check your pockets. Instead of handling it professionally, the employee nearby started loudly sighing and complaining about having to clean it up. In the past, something similar happened when a jacket lining came apart in the washer and I was actively picking it up myself, but the staff member behind me was audibly huffing and complaining. It's also worth noting that small pieces of tissue from a pocket are a very common laundry mistake and typically just end up in the lint filter of the dryer. It's more of an inconvenience than a safety issue, and something most people who do laundry have experienced at one point or another. What makes this more uncomfortable is that I've also overheard employees talking about other customers and criticizing the way people do their laundry while other customers are within earshot. I've even seen customers get frustrated and snap back because of this behavior. I want to be clear that I respect the work that goes into keeping a laundromat clean, and I always try to clean up after myself. But the constant complaining and visible frustration toward customers is very unprofessional and creates an uncomfortable environment. It's disappointing because the facility itself is great, and I'd like to continue supporting this laundromat. I just hope management addresses the customer service side of things, because the attitude of some employees is starting to take away from what is otherwise a really nice place. read more

Super clean and well kept, very helpful folks there. I have recommended this facility to my family and they enjoy it too!

New in the area and I was looking for a new Laundry place. Came in to check the prices, machine does not display them. Decided to wash anyways. However, I did not realize they weren't allowing any more loads. Thankfully the worker rudely informed me that they weren't allowing more loads. I told her I'd just come back in the morning (ps I had already put my bill in the change machine for quarters). To which she replied "well idk if you will come back in the morning if you take our change". Understandable. But tbh she was very rude about it. I tried to explain it was new in the area and was trying to find an affordable place near by. It was late she was upset I get it but dam. Just beware workers are not the best. read more

First of all, in a lifetime of using laundromats, Corner Wash is the nicest one we have ever been to. It's amazingly clean due to the hard work of an industrious woman named Katherine. All of the machines are new and well maintained. They use ozone sanitation water. There's an assortment of high end snack and beverage machines. The bathroom is spotless. There are enough carts. I'm impressed and I had few expectations going in. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. read more

Corner Wash - Sparkling clean machines and good snackies. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - San Diego, California

Extremely expensive laundromat The machines are rigged to do the absolute minimum (Minimum amount of water sometime almost no water or suds) The "Ozone machine" is straight up lies Ive had a towel smell even after washing cold. The workers here for some reason start to sweep or wipe expecting you to get out the way where you are going to start washing while your either loading or unloading Specifically that tall big girl. (Althought nice) I used to like this place until each wash started costing 20$ including drying The quality for the price is astronomically off. Go somewhere else where its normal laundromat without the "Ozone" gimmicks read more

I'm a U.S. Patriot I was washing my clothes and some young woman by the name of Sabrina was working. Now I'm washing and the person I was with wasn't in the building he was outside the whole time. He was singing and enjoying himself outside. He also just said "you have get away sticks" to a young man I was talking to him and his wife. He nor she said nothing to the worker. Again the person I'm with is back against the wall in a PUBLIC parking lot not on there side. She then comes up to me and says you have to go or I'm calling the cops!!!!! Woah I didn't do nothing clothes we're still wet. Felt racial profiled. I'm talking I never do business there again!!!!!!! read more

Strong customer service who are efficient and friendly and always a very clean facility!

What a great place! Their prices are quite reasonable, and the place is always clean and spotless. I've mainly used their shirt laundry that has been dependable and reliable. Staff has always been friendly, and I appreciate the extra services like spot cleaning if necessary. read more

Super clean place, has lots of washers and dryers, vending machines with laundry items as well as snacks. Free WiFi and lots of chairs for sitting, the washing machines look super clean and new, and the process is reasonable. They also take tap, cash and have an app you can get to connect. 10/10 read more

Place is so greedy. Two big dryers are 1$ for four minutes. Medium are fifty cents for 4 and smaller ones are a quarter. Not to mention a credit card machine to get into the bathroom. Straight up cash grab. First and last time Update: Place isn't just greedy, it's crooked. Put my clothes in a machine, and what should have been a quarter per four minutes was reading 50 cents per four minutes. Mind you, I'm on the far right as far as I can be from the fifty-cent machines. Put my clothes in another dryer, and that one says 50 cents. Finally, used a third dryer that was reading at a quarter. Like someone back there switching prices. Just checked again, they're all a quarter now. The place is BEYOND shady. read more

Such a CLEAN and beautiful laundromat! I love how it feels modern with the Normal Heights mural and neon signs. I actually have laundry on-site at my complex but come here on occasion when I want to get ALL my laundry done in about an hour. When I have a ton of bedding to do I'll throw it in the 8-load washer. I feel confident recommending friends to this laundromat. Shoutout to Katherine for keeping the place clean and spotless! read more

Juliet is an exceptional worker at Corner Wash. Twice now I have seen her while I was laundering my clothing. She is scrubbing the place from tip to top, side to side, and keeping the place as sparkling as one would like to see a laundry-mat with hundreds of people through each day. I love coming to the Corner Laundry because Juliet takes pride in her work. She is pleasant and helpful. May the owners treat her like gold - as that is who she represents - a precious metal of value. I am delighted to go there! If the owners are reading this - the credit card machines often mess up the price. I was charged $9.00 for dryer use - it made me put my card in repeatedly to get the machine going. I stick to quarters for the dryer now. I love that there is a charge to use the bathroom - it is a super way to keep the bathroom clean and in good working order! read more

Black in the mid 90s, I lived down the street and this laundromat was owned by 2 sweet ladies. I used to walk in there with a pocketful of quarters, throw the clothes in and go across the street to DeMille's for some food. Damn, that gem of a restaurant closed. Such great laundry day memories! Recently my dryer broke so I came in here to dry some clothes. Wow, they really upgraded it! It's very clean and they have the jumbo washers and dryers. Good to know if I need to wash comforters or things too big to fit in my machine! I just wish the same ladies owned it, they were good for a chat and some laughs! Thank you Corner Wash, I'll be back! read more

it's by far my favorite place to do laundry. Sabrina and Juliet are the two employees I see when I go there and they are both constantly cleaning and making sure everything is running smoothly! I would recommend this laundromat, it is the cleanest and most organized place around. I love the App that you can load onto your credit card it makes it so simple to use the machines. read more

Owner of the place confronted me about the low ratings I posted here and banned me from the business. I guess he thinks he has this 3.5 star rating (now 3.4) because of me? It's the whole community that has given this place such a mediocre rating because the community remembers how much better this place was before he bought it. My dry cleaning has definitely been late at least the last 4 times in a row. read more

Juliet is the best! She was so helpful in figuring out how to use the washing machines, and she even helped us get a major stain out of our rug. Laundry day isn't always the most fun day, but we'd come back here just to work with her. Kind, friendly, knowledgable staff. read more

The machines are new and you have the option to use card or pay by app. Im HIGHLY disappointed at how rates nearly DOUBLED on the machines. They have signs blaming it on SDGE and but newsflash, we all just received notice that the rates were going back to normal. On top of that, they aren't running their "Ozone Sanitation system" for the last month that I've been doing my laundry here... GROSS. So, that leaves me needing to wash with hot water which they charge extra for! Oh and they even charge you to use the bathroom here.... There's a whole scanner outside outside the restroom for it. I understand locking it but charging to pee?? Greedy. Below is a picture of the sanitation system shut off for a 4th time in a row (once a week visit) read more
