Soda fountain area sticky and grimy. Every time around this time 3pm-ish. Once every other week, I visit this location to gas up. And in hopes that I can walk in and get some food on the way home. Today there are like 3 hot dogs. I've been cooking for hours. One Pizza, and a spicy chicken sandwich. I get that there might not be many people purchasing food, but it's probably because it looks old. There were quite a few landscapers in there at the time I was there.Looking at the food and also walked away. Maybe if it's fresh we would all have bought in something. It also doesn't help that you don't have enough staff. Look like there were only two people. So I can see why cleaning is a low priority?If you have a long line of customers. Back to soda fountain, how often is that cleaned? And I'm talking about deep clean removing nozzles. Sanitize, and i'm cleaning them good wiping.Everything down. Plenty of opportunity for the establishment to get better. Not that anyone reads these comments that can make a difference or care enough to improve on. You also get what you pay. You pay low, you get low quality, low standard personal. If you're desperate to get somebody, it's not difficult to get anybody. The smaller sizer equates to a very full house when inside shopping, getting eats, or using the extremely clean bathrooms. When we came through it was on a weekday and not one of the busier weekends. SO many people in such a small space and it's like bumper cars weaving their way through a maze of humans. Then bathrooms are smaller, but still very well kept and clean. The products are all the same, a lot with their signature logo. They have the bbq section, deli, sandwiches, pre made snacks, cookies, and all of the paraphernalia that is Buc-ee's. Gas is usually fairly inexpensive as well. Great place, just smaller, so be prepared to dodge some folks not only in the parking lot, but also in the store.

I went to Pump 5 and chose Regular Unleaded gas as I have for the past 33 years of driving and it showed the correct price and after it finished and I saw my receipt, I was charged $1.00 more per gallon for Premium when I did NOT choose premium gas. I went inside and showed the lady my receipt and explained what happened and she said "what do you expect me to do about it" and threw the receipt back at me!! She was so incredibly rude and treated me like I was crazy. I told her to call her manager named "Kim" and she told the manager that I wanted a refund of the difference but she lied and told her I chose Premium, when I know for a fact that I didn't! I don't know if the pump is malfunctioning or if this is a scam and they hope no one checks their receipt.
