I don't know what I was thinking. The last time we ordered something from Corner Pizza was on my last review in 2015. I swore to never go back there but what prompted me to go was some folks posting positive reviews on Bristol Talks. I can tell you the people on Bristol Talks have no idea what they're talking about which comes to no surprise. Simple order last night was a Spinach Ricotta pizza, Sausage and Onion Pizza, side of French Fries and a Munchies Appetizer. It's like a sampler platter only really disgusting. The Spin Ric pizza had no Ricotta on it. Instead they just put mounds of raw garlic on it under all the other ingredients so when the pizza was cooked the garlic stayed nice and raw. What a waste of pizza. The entire thing was inedible and was thrown out. The sausage and onion pizza was pretty mediocre. More than half was thrown out. The French Fries came in a styrofoam container, were limp I almost had to order some HIMS but I don't think that would even help. Not only were they limp but they were soggy with oil. Lastly, the sampler platter. Mozz sticks, Onion Rings and Chicken Fingers. The entire order was thrown in the garbage. The geniuses at Corner Pizza put the onion rings on the bottom. Mozz Sticks over those and the Fingers over those. Every single piece was soggy with oil. The Fingers were overcooked and parts of them were burnt. Again, the entire sampler was inedible. $70 (with tip) just thrown into the garbage. How can someone expect to support local when local is wasting people's money like this by putting out product that should never have left the kitchen. At least nothing was rotten this time around. That's the ONLY positive thing I can say about it which is sad. I've said this before but this time is it. Never again and I can't recommend Corner Pizza to anyone. read more

This restaurant has no integrity! i ordered through door dash (they deliver their own). I ordered a pizza-left side sausage and bacon and right side pepperoni and mushroom. it arrived with all four toppings on the entire pizza! totally ruined! I called to let them know and they didn't apologize or sound remorseful at all and just shuffled me off to Door Dash! It's not easy when my order has been left "open/undelivered" to submit a review! This place has just gotten worse and worse ever since people bought it that don't know anything about pizza... the use jarred sauce smelly veggies... that's just what I can see and smell.. It would be cold by the time they brought the mushrooms. So, some people eat now and others later???? The object is to have everyone eat at the same time! Anyways, they bring the mushrooms, ONE ITEM!!!!, and the marinara sauce cup is crushed inside, and marinara all over the mushrooms. AND, the driver looked like he was expecting another tip. $8 tip the first time!! The person these were for does not like marinara sauce!! Not wasting my time calling again. This place has really gone downhill with the food and service. I really miss the Tkonis family when they owned it. We had food delivered tonight just an 8" chicken parm grinder and a large meatball both asked for well done and it was the exact opposite of that. The bread was really soft barely toasted. The delivery driver gets here and we gave him a $5.00 tip we needed $10 change. Not only did he come to the door with like a 7 year old child but he had no change either. Not sure if he thought we we're going to tip him $15 cuz he had a kid with him or what! But he had to leave and come back with our change. 15 minutes later Never again! We ordered a large Pepperoni pizza yesterday. I went to pick it up, not much parking out front, but I realize a good portion of their business is delivery. About 1/2 a dozen tables to sit inside, if you are so inclined. Brought the pizza home, I'd say it was "middle-of-the-road" -- not bad, but not great either. We weren't really thrilled with the crust, very dry. But the pizza did satisfied our hunger, we might be back in the future to try other items on the menu. read more

My husband & I have been looking for a new favorite take-out place in Bristol. We think Corner Pizza may be exactly what we have been looking for. We ordered steak grinders from Corner Pizza a while ago that were very good, so good in fact that I put a post-it note about them on the menu we had then. We recently received a new menu from Corner Pizza in the mail and decided to give their pizza a try. We ordered their House Special gourmet pizza delivered and can honestly say it was the best pizza we have had in years! I am usually a 'plain cheese' person (mainly due to blood pressure) while my husband likes various toppings. This was so good, I can't wait to have the second half of the pizza tomorrow, to heck with the sodium! At this stage of our lives, we appreciate the convenience of having our take-out delivered, but our old favorite places from back in the day don't deliver. We'll be ordering from Corner Pizza often in the future. Looking forward to trying some of their Italian dinners. read more

I have now been here several times and love it! The pizza crust is very good, as good as thin crust gets. The pizza sauce is also very good. The toppings are good, fresh and plentiful. Moved to Bristol in Feb. Heard they won the Great Pizza Competition in April, and one of my coworkers said it's the best in Bristol. Have to completely disagree. Ordered lg pepperoni/garlic and it was the greasiest pizza ever! I expect some grease from the pepperoni, but not grease to be dripping from the pizza, or it to be greaay enough to soak through the cardboard circle in the box. Very disappointed. Literally drowned, as if the the dough didn't call back for a second date.Their so called large pizza was similar to that of a medium at other local restaurants. I had 2 nine-year-old girls with me on Good Friday for pizza. We're not from the area and found Corner Pizza online. I thought we would get slices since the girls couldn't agree on toppings. Stephanie waited on us and suggested we get a pizza because all those slices would be way more expensive. It was a great suggestion that I really appreciated. So let me tell you about this pizza. So we moved to Bristol a few years ago and we are always looking for great pizza to eat. Corner pizza is right around the corner from us. Come to find out the owners are from Plainville and my wife knew them. That's always a plus when the small business owners are people originally I from your community that got a chance to open up their own business. With all that being said...I love sax pizza in plainville. I have since I was a little kid and to me its always been the best Greek pizza around. Well Corner gives them a fun for their money. Very good flavor in the sauce and the right crunch to the crust. Pizzas are always well done for us and the cheese has that beautiful brown look evenly spread across with the white of the cheese in balance. Triple bonus here - good food, good service and good price. I used their catering service for a family birthday party. I ordered a salad, lasagna and garlic bread. Everything was ready just as we picked up the food. The food was excellent - everyone thought I had made it homemade. I had been worried that the garlic bread would be cold and dry by the time we served it, but it was excellent. The lasagna is the same they serve in the restaurant. First off, since the new management the food here has been SPECTACULAR! Just make sure you eat in versus delivery... I ordered extra ketchup... Not only did I not get extra ketchup, I got none at all. Kids are now officially refusing to eat. I asked the girl if she could send some ketchup, she told me I lived too far away and they were really busy (I literally live within a 5 min drive of them). No effort made to rectify their mistake, and I'm left with dragging 2 hungry, screaming kids to the connivence store to get ketchup so they'll eat. For the extra 15 minutes and a few extra bucks you could have saved a once a week paying customer that used to spend $30+ a week. I ordered pizza from here because of all of the good reviews. This was legitimately the worst pizza I've had in Bristol. I got a basic pepperoni pizza and it was so greasy that I could barely eat it. For some perspective, I specifically ordered pizza from another restaurant because one Yelp review claimed it was "too greasy," so I'm not someone afraid of grease and I don't blot my pizza with paper towels, this was ridiculous. Above average pizza, very typical "Bristol" type of pizza ("Greek Style" pan pizza cut in squares). I ordered a bacon and pineapple pizza and an order of bacon cheese fries. I was at first astonished by the near $7 price tag for the fries, but you get an 8 inch salad tin full of them. It is mozzarella cheese- not cheddar, (Why?!?!), bacon, and a side of thin and runny sour cream. The bacon on the fries and the pizza was crunchy but not burnt, crumbly, delicious, and generous in portion. The fries held up well for a delivery order, so that was super exciting. They tasted good as the fries held up and the bacon was on point, but cheddar cheese would have made it much more robust. As for the pizza- it was average; not bad at all. I've ordered from corner pizza a handful of times and each time has been worse than the next. From things ordered being wrong to things being over changed to the food just not tasting great. Not to mention that they've been rude on occasions where they've been at fault. I've ordered the fried dough there before and haven't had an issue (I order it with both sauce and powdered sugar on the side). Just ordered from them tonight because I was craving fried dough (how I always get it) and I open it to find it's covered in sauce and cheese and dumped underneath is chocolate sauce. I don't know if there are people out there who eat it like that but I am not one of them. Ordered a pizza, buffalo pizza with no chicken. I've ordered this more than once from more than one place. When I got the pizza it looked like the cheese wasn't melted. Once we started eating it I realized that it in fact was not melted. Half the cheese was melted, half was not. I called up and spoke to the manager or owner who told me it was my fault for ordering a pizza with too much on it. It was cheese, blue cheese, and hot sauce. WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE CRUST?!? I've always said, don't fix what isn't broke. Corner Pizza WAS our family's favorite pizza place comparable to West End pizza with better cheese and we were ecstatic to hear that they re-opened under new ownership. We ordered our usuals and began to dig in, to our great disappointment. The cheese, toppings and sauce were excellent but the crust was incredibly bland closer to cardboard. Before we ordered my husband had a very nice conversation with the new owner about how we've enjoyed corner pizza for years. It was then that he informed us that he kept everything the same except for the crust. The only reason I gave this rating 2 stars instead of 1 was because of the service which was excellent. So one night my wife and I decided to order out from this restaurant in Bristol. It did come highly recommended from several coworkers, so I gave them a shot. First, the delivery was surprisingly fast on a Saturday evening. Second, the food arrived fresh out of the oven. Third, the bone less honey barbecue wings were absolutely out of this world.
