Sometimes you stumble upon a true gem of a restaurant, and today was one of those lucky days. My compliments to the chef for preparing such an outstanding salmon salad. The greens were crisp and fresh, the red onions had just the right crunch, and the dressing with its hint of lemon tied everything together beautifully. The salmon itself was cooked to absolute perfection--golden and slightly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. This is the kind of meal that shows real care and skill in the kitchen. The restaurant has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, and every dish feels authentically made with love. We've been here a few times and have always had great experiences. The staff is friendly, and the service is warm and quick. The food is delicious, we've visited for both brunch and lunch and have enjoyed everything. We're looking forward to coming back for happy hour, especially since some of the appetizer prices seem more reasonable then.

Place was very clean with about 12ish tables. They only serve beer and wine (and a few wine cocktails). No liquor. Food was hot and fresh. Bacon wrapped shrimp came with three and a salad ($12). Truffle fries were good too. Service was great! They helped us quickly and were friendly.

Meet friends here for an early dinner and drinks. Location has plenty of parking. The dining area is not very big, maybe 15 tables. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our drinks were excellent! Not only did they taste amazing, but they also looked beautiful! We tried 5 different ones and every single one was delicious. Now for the food, we had the sloppy Joe's with fries and the original burger with sweet potato fries. Sloppy Joe's were good, but nothing out of this world. But the original burger, NOW that was finger licking good! Everything about it was spot on! Would highly recommend having.

This food was absolutely tasty and fresh ! They have so much to choose from and I definitely will be back to try a new dish every time. I went with a party of 8 people and all of us ate everything off our plates. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that was stacked and juicy! And you have to order it with the truffle fries ! My sister ordered a salad she really enjoyed ! My friend order their chicken waffles and highly recommend that ! It was a 10/10 they have spacious seating and they have a bar !

Stumbled upon the Corner Joint and we are so glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious. The Pastor Burger is a unique menu item and it did not disappoint. It was messy but worth it. The Como la Flor cocktail with fresh raspberry puree was well balanced and made with care. We also had an amazing Michelada with fresh jalapeño and a brisket panini. Best of all the service was super friendly and attentive. Do not pass on the Corner Joint!

Great family owned business! Met one of the owner, Luis, super friendly. Cozy environment. Great menu. Their chicken and waffles portion is just right. Not the gigantic waffles that I would ever finish. Theirs are the mini waffles and chicken tenders with the side of parfait. Will go there again soon.

Great little place I found via Yelp...of course Leaving a business appointment and just needed not a burger or chicken. They had an awesome 10 inch pizza that hit the spot. Got it with my fave combo pepperoni and mushrooms!! Took it to go but the guys were very friendly and helped me out with extra napkins and all the fixins for the road. Lots of people were eating the wings, so many I noticed, so although I haven't had them, I'll be back to try. Thanks

Cute local spot in Lawndale on the corner of Hawthorne Blvd & Rosecrans Ave. As soon as you walk in you notice the lively art on the walls and cleanliness of the place. Our waitress was very attentive and polite. I like that my food came out hot! Let's me know how on top of her tables she was. I definitely want to come back and try more items on the menu.

I love coming here but the service and wait time have been horrible lately. I went with my family for brunch one day and we asked for a lower table for the kids, they could only offer us a high table. We tried explaining again and we obviously saw tables that were available but they wouldn't give to us. We ended sitting at the high table and we saw all the waitresses roll their eyes like we were being difficult. We ended having 4 different waitresses come to our table because they didn't want to serve us. Another time we waited about an hour for our food. Food is good but not good enough to wait an hour for. If you want to be sassed to and or wait and hour for your food I recommend this place for you. read more

Great atmosphere and environment to catch your favorite sport games. Amazing happy hour deals along with Monday and Thursday specials! The chicken strips tossed in buffalo are EVERYTHING! If this place was in Hermosa Beach, it would be on the pier next to Baja Sharkeez. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is amazing!!! And their pizza is simply perfection on thin crust. When the Rams stadium is built down the street, this will be a premier restaurant in the area. read more

I went in here with some friends for lunch. We had looked it up on yelp and decided to try it out since it had so many good reviews. The vibe was good, the food was better. Ordered the chicken fried steak through UberEATS based on the limited menu and 1 good review online. That was the worst I've ever had. It was a piece of tough meat coated in mush. I wouldn't even be able to identify it if I hadnt ordered it myself. Potatoes were good. Really sad about it because I really wanted to like this place on my first try. Might consider trying the philly cheese steak in the future but after that meal I'm truly on the fence on giving it a second shot :( read more

I'm really disappointed that I have to leave a low review here when your food is so good and your atmosphere is off the hook but I'm an honest person. I came with a friend last week and ordered a burger and a beer. The burger was phenomenal, one of the best I have ever had. The problem was the service was absolutely horrible!!! Our waitress disappeared on us several times for several minutes at a time and when she did come back, she didn't check on any of her tables. Of the 4 tables there, not one person had a full drink, everyone seemed frustrated about it. She would go talk to the bartender who also had zero customers but couldn't be bothered to check anything outside of his empty bar or she would do stuff like squirt ketchup at a walk up window....horrible service and the restrooms were filthy and lacked toilet paper. I drove about 15 miles just to try your spot out, needless to say, I will not be returning and if I do, it will be for takeout only because your food really was amazing. read more

Food is normally good here, so that's not the issue. I've paid cash or card before, but for some reason this time around the cashier wouldn't allow my gf to pay with her debit card. She refused to explain why and just kept repeating she would not give her the food unless she paid cash. Manager seemed uninterested in talking and kept pushing the cashier forward to deal with the issue. They would rather waste the food instead of allowing the card payment which was denied with no explanation . read more

My office is located in an industrial area where there are not many catering/delivery options. We had an important lunch meeting and I needed to find a place that I could count on to deliver us a decent meal, on time. I called the Corner Joint and even though we were outside their delivery area, Luis was kind enough to take my order. He showed up himself, on time, with hot delicious pizza, salad and sodas and all the plates and utensils for our group. The pizza was outstanding and everyone was happy and full after lunch! And I have to give Luis five stars as well for being so accommodating. I highly recommend them for delivery and want to check out their restaurant for happy hour. read more

I've ordered the dark meat special, which supposedly includes 4 legs and 5 thighs. First time I ordered it, it only had 8 pieces with 4 small legs and 4 small thighs. I didn't complain, thinking it was a honest mistake. Ordered it for the second time, and it was complete with 4 legs and 5 thighs (decent size). Ordered it for the third time last night, it had 6 small legs, 2 thighs and neck portion with mostly bone on it and hardly any meat. You can tell that meat was carved from the bone. It seems like that the neck bone was deliberately thrown in the container to complete the 9 pieces. Disappointing for $19 price.

The overall atmosphere was calm and not chaotic at all. Before coming, I also confirmed whether the café was open to the public, and it is. You don't need to be a member to enjoy it. The café area is perfect for bringing a laptop or book without distractions. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back.
