This is a pretty decent place with pretty good food, I'll say that off the bat. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza(medium), sloppy joe sliders(comes with 2 & a good amount of sweet potato fires), bucket of fries and the Al pastor burger. This was a ton of food and I managed to only spend $38. The fries, the pizza and the sliders were great but I managed to find the al pastor burger to taste quite odd. It didn't taste bad but it didn't taste good, it just tasted weird which led to me not finishing it. Overall, the food was not to shabby considering the prices. The nature of the place I was fond of, it was a Friday night and they had the music playing loud and about 5 flat screens with the game on! With that being said, this would be a great spot to catch games at, especially since they have a pretty decent bar! As far as parking goes you won't have to worry because they have a pretty large lot to park at. Lastly, I WARN YOU HERE, choose the time you go wisely, I stopped by around 8:30 and it was pretty packed and they only had 3 waiters(this is a sit down and order) splitting the task of running the floor, the bills and the bar! I wrote an amazing review previously, since we had amazing service and food was delicious. Unfortunately, yesterday was the deal breaker for us. A group of 10 went over to corner joint for the All Star Game. There was new waitress training which is understandable since the place is becoming popular. However, she was not very good a communicating or following up. I ordered two micheladas and several beers it took them Over 1/2 an hour to bring them to us. My husband had asked the waitress for Napkins 4 times until I finally got up and got them myself. My friend order the micheladas with the works (beef slider, al pastor slider, 2 shrimp) the waitress took down the wrong order and brought over a micheladas with only one slider. We had to wait over an hour for the michelada. Two burgers took just as long, the waitress kept saying the "kitchen is backed up" from what I saw no one was ordering food. We ordered a second round of appetizer, half of our party had already left before we got them. We are a group of friend that love to hang out and catch up. I am not a Michelada person because I don't like beer or tomato's BUT Corner Joint is doing it right. They don't play around with their Miceladas and they are so so so good. Drinks: Came in for a michelada only to be told they only serve them on weekends. Bummer as that was the selling point for my friend and I. So this was a last minute "we are starving" what's around ? Type of decision. I must say it was definitely a hidden gem. Place is small but unique! They were extremely busy but yet service was good . What a great Yelp find. Came here with my family after flying in from the East coast. I'm usually skeptical about places that serve a lot of variety, but everything we had was really good. Al pastor burger was unlike anything I'd ever had, Mac and cheese was good, chicken parm was good, and my dad even liked his burger and he never likes anything. The front of this place looks like an empty lil store, but when you walk inside, it has the bar area, open seating area and a relaxed feel. The pretty chill environment compliments it being in the South Bay Area. Tonight I had the al pastor burger with the house salad, a balsamic dressing, mac n cheese poppers and a mango cart beer. I literally just came to make a review about the food for yelp and for my YouTube page. The Mac n cheese poppers were pretty darn big and were accompanied by a special sauce. They don't use the typical macaroni pasta for the balls and they also contain bacon. The al pastor burger (which is what I came for) was definitely something different. It was like a mix of a taco, a burger and teriyaki, but that Oaxaca cheese gave it a unique flavor. The house salad was full of vegetables and although I don't eat tomatoes or cucumbers, I found myself eating them with the flavorful balsamic vinaigrette. We came here for lunch and to watch a game on a Sat afternoon. It is definitely a hole in the wall type of spot and both my husband and I were quite impressed. I had the cheesesteak and fries and my husband had a michelada. The michelada was one of the best I've tried. The cheesesteak was quite good too. This place was very clean and hip. Plays very good music but food wise it's not as great. I have seen some pictures on Instagram of their food and drinks so I decided to give it a try. I got there and got seated right away which is a plus. After some time our server got us water. We put in our order a michelada and a chelada with some buffalo wings. This is where it went downhill. The michelada looks like a Bloody Mary. The taste of the mix isn't something unique or memorable it's very bland. But the chelada is a big letdown the taste isn't great. Not to mention my cup was cracked at the rim. I could've cut my tongue on it if I would've have not noticed. Our wait for wings was over 20 minutes and they seemed to be raw still. They were very chewy and the meat of the chicken was not easy to bite off like at BWW and wing stop. Their ranch and buffalo sauce were the highlights of my meal.
