Dear Dave Cork,
I have not done this before but I must say that your establishment caused me great distress today.
Yourself and your wife, Lisa, have in the past fed me Mediterranean vegetable soup and a delicious apple pie. But this afternoon was different.
On an inclement day in Meath, I ordered special 3 and began with the soup to warm my cockles. After a considerable wait (and the soup of the day changing from carrot and coriander to med veg within ten minutes of arriving), I found my soup to be watery and left my cockles suitably un-warmed.
Next was the spicy wrap, which although was tasty, was predominantly chicken and Frank´s RedHot Buffalo Wings Sauce
(https://www.franksredhot.com/products/buffalo-wings-sauce/), however it was a single drop of soothing ointment in the midst of a severe explosive non-crevice sparing skin infection.
Finally, we ordered the dessert the NY apple cake, as we were led to believe it was part of all of the specials.
Also, for the record- who is Pam? I found myself distractedly wondering why we weren't to avail of Lisa's Brownie of Dave's Brownie or even Corks brownie. Frankly the introduction of this unknown Pam into a family business left me feeling confused and upset.
After such an emotional meal, the bill came back with several more charges than were initially realised due to your misleading and entirely convincing menu.
'Twas a cheeky menu.
I hope to return and receive better service and better quality food, as I know it to be an excellent restaurant from previous experience.
Kind regards,
