What are your Rates? Do you price by piece or by the hour?

I have a minimum of $100 and an hourly of $200. Most designs I can give an estimate range based on how long I thing it will take us to complete the design. I only strictly stick to the hourly for larger designs such as sleeves, large color pieces,… Read more

Words can simply not describe Jon's work and amazing artistry. He's so enthusiastic about his work…read moreand is an awesome artist to just chat through your sessions with. We are planning an entire Harry Potter sleeve and I can't wait for the rest! The shop itself is clean and very relaxed! Cool t-shirts up front for sale, and awesome artwork on the walls. Every artist I've come into contact in the shop are extremely nice relatable people. I would give it more stars if I could . Jon schedule is booked but he is soooo worth the wait, BE PATIENT !

This is hands down the best quality, most hygienic, customer-friendly tattoo shop that I have found…read morein Rhode Island (unlike other places, which seem to have only 1 or 2 of those qualities). I have been tattooed here several times by two different artists, and each time I have had a great experience. The shop itself is very big, so there is plenty of space and you don't feel like you are crammed into a tiny room with other customers. There's also a private room where you can have your tattoo done if you don't want everyone to see. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and don't make you feel silly for asking lots of questions! I've had a large half sleeve done by Rick. It was a Japanese style dragon that was done in multiple sessions. I had an idea of what I wanted for the design, and I gave him free rein to do what he wanted with the color and placement. He is meticulous with stenciling and placing every element of the tattoo so that nothing is crooked or awkwardly placed. I have quite a bit of other work done on that arm in a different style, so I was worried about whether the dragon would flow with the rest of my tattoos, but he was able to make the design fit seamlessly with the other tattoos. It's been almost a year since I finished that tattoo and everything healed perfectly. The colors are still vibrant. I also have a tattoo by the artist Ron on my ankle. I picked the design from his book. Ron is also friendly and knowledgable, and had some ideas for making the colors on the tattoo pop and still be visible on my skin tone. The tattoo was one in one session and the lines are crisp and smooth. I highly recommend this shop. The pricing is really reasonable for the quality of tattoo that you get, and it's a comfortable and friendly environment.

I had two simple tattoos done by Sean R…read more The guy is a total pro with over a decade of experience. Both calm and confident, he put me at ease for my very first tattoos. Now, even a client with a simple design can be persnickety, and I was no exception. Sean was patient until we achieved a Vision we both liked. If you need collaboration or ideas - this guy has them in spades! This ain't a local parlor - this is a destination! If you live in Mass or South County it is "worth the trip!"

I dealt with Jon for a tattoo recently and have to say, Jon and Providence Tattoo is the easiest…read moreexperience ever for those looking for a tattoo. 1. When I called he was the guy who answered the phone around 2 months ago when I booked a tattoo and stated confidently he could handle what I was looking for. 2. I sent him a design that it took me a year to pick out, little did I know, it was a more common tattoo than I thought it to be (not my intention but it was meaningful to me). Jon made it up in his own style so that it does look different and unique to me. He also took my suggestions about how I wanted to change it for me. 3. The customer service I received was unrivaled. While most of the store is booked out quite a few weeks, he was easy to stay in touch with if I had an idea about how to change the design and never left me hanging for more than a day during the wait. Jon took my ideas, incorporated some of his own and I couldn't be happier. It was affordable, the customer service was awesome, the end result was above expectations. Lastly, if you are reticent about getting your first tattoo, ask for Jon, not only was he a great frigging dude, but he's fine with taking a break a few times an hour so you can both stretch out and feel comfortable. Not my first tattoo, but my first 5 star experience and a local experience with local artists. I will be back if I need something again in the future. Lastly, the shop is clean, everyone followed covid protocols, you never feel unsafe or at risk there. This is an A+ operation filled with A+ artists and workers. If you're looking for some ink, go to Providence Tattoo, and if you can, go see Jon.

I will never go back to this shop, or ever recommend it to anyone…read more I had a tattoo done by Brian a few years ago that came out well, but it was a simple line which wrapped around my calf, so nothing complicated at all. I went back a few months ago to get a finger tattoo. I emailed them the design I wanted, and that seemed to go over well. When he finally shut the fuck up and started actually tattooing (seriously the guy never stops talking), he was really heavy handed, and kept going over the same places again and again, which obviously was really painful. The tattoo scarred a lot, and it's extremely blown out now. Surprisingly, it came out better than my next two visits. I went back to get a quote on a full set of glyph finger tattoos. The guy, Don, told me it would be shop minimum, and that he could do it on the spot, but he had another appointment in 30 minutes (this really made me nervous knowing that he'd have to rush). I only wanted an estimate because I still wanted to make a legitimate design on the computer that would match what I had in my head.. I didn't want him to freehand it. He insisted that there was no point to having a design on such a small area. I took his advice regardless of the fact that I had used a stencil with the other finger tattoo. He barely laid the needle on my skin. After it took about two weeks to heal, I called Don and told him how angry and disappointed I was. He had me come in later that day to have it touched up. I was optimistic, but I really only went back because it would be free. It took another two weeks for the "touch up" to heal, and it looks only slightly better. The lines are completely uneven, different thicknesses, and just plain sloppy. If these tattoos weren't on my fingers, I wouldn't care to have them touched up again. But they seriously look like a five year old drew on me with a pen. Regardless, I won't go back there for a second touch up.
