While that's a negative from a presentation sense, I'm still giving 5 stars because it's a great stop and great images. Tom has produced an amazing amount of books and I ended up buying dis educational work on landscapes. He even walked in and personalized it for me and we chatted a bit about photographics. I recently took a sunset & night photo tour at Arches National Park with David Brown from Moab…read morePrintworks in October 2021. It was a great tour! We met at the Moab Printworks location and he drove to the different locations in the park where we took photos. David knew all the locations to take pictures that would highlight the Milky Way at night. He brought an extra red light (to preserve night vision) and water. He suggested camera settings (shutter, aperture and iso) for the night shots. He has a wealth of knowledge. The pictures I took turned out really well. The next day he spent 1 hour processing several of the pictures in addition to teaching me how to optimize the pictures. A really nice surprise was that he printed out several of the pictures for me (no charge!). I would highly recommend the a Moab Printworks photo tour!

I made this reservation a few weeks ago. We checked into our LUXURY KING room. When we opened the…read moredoor, the heavy mold/mildew smell was overwhelming. We turned the AC on to try to remove the smell. That didn't work. Also... The furnishings were not acceptable. The hand rests on the chairs were ripped and gross. You couldn't rest your hands on them without touching the mystery cracks. The bed was jammed in a corner and seemed quite worn. Not the cleanest place I have stayed at, but one of the dingiest. We asked for another room. The woman gave us a double queen room in the back with only a wall to look at. She confirmed the cost to be 139.00 plus tax. Total 169.00. We asked for another room and she gave us another 2queen room. But at least we got sunshine in the room. Again she varifies the cost... 169.00 total. The room was ok. Not the cleanest and not the luxury king I had paid for. When we went to check out it got very interesting. I called the office before checking out. I talked to the owner telling him the situation and how we were inconvenienced on checkin. The owner said he would give us a 50.00 Credit. All is well... so we thought. The room we thought was going to be 169.00- 50.00 ended up over 220.00+. The owner was very aggressive in his tone. There was no way he was going to honor the price quoted by his employee. We Went back and forth but there was going to be no compromise. He was not going to honor the price given to us by his front desk person. We were not given the room I reserved. I told him I thought he had a sh***y hotel. He flipped out, yelled at me swearing non stop. He went to the door of his hotel opened it and screamed... get the f*** out of my hotel. Did my comment about his hotel hit too close to home?

I booked our stay a year ago for April 13-21, 2025 and it says when I was booking it with Expedia…read morethat it comes with FREE BREAKFAST. I booked it a year in advance and they want full payment to book it and non-refundable. It is Easter Jeep Safari week in Moab Utah so in order for me and my family to have hotel reservations I booked it. When we checked in front desk staff told us oh we do not serve free breakfast anymore and since we are staying there for more than a week I do not want to have a bad interaction with hotel staff and I told myself since I booked it thru Expedia they would help me with my booking. The washer/dryer was over priced at $3.50 per use more expensive than Homewood Suites by Hilton that only charges $2/ use and the washer and dryer in Adventure Hotel is broken. Also we were having problems with hot water for our shower. Since we really didn't like how they treated us we decided to check out one day early and we moved for 2 nights at Homewood suites by Hilton which was day and night difference. When we got back home I talked to Expedia in the hope that they will help us, I told Expedia that I paid a year in advance knowing there will be free breakfast and now when we checked in there is no more breakfast. I simply asked for a one day refund since we checked out one day early and Expedia told me they cannot help us because the hotel Adventure Inn has very strict rule and nothing can be done. I will never ever use Expedia anymore and also will no longer check in to Adventure Inn & Motel in Moab Utah. Their room and amenities are in bad shape and they wanted to short change us by not honoring the free breakfast.

Our trip here started of R O U G H. We arrived late and pre-arranged a late check-in. The Apache…read morecoordinated with us and gave us a code to a lockbox where we could retrieve our key...in theory. We arrived, and the lockbox would not work. This was not user error. Another guest was outside and tried the code as well, and no luck. We even tried the code on the other lockboxes to see if the employee had placed it in a different box. Nope. We called, emailed, and nothing. No response from anyone. We had to find another hotel for the night. The following morning, I called and asked about the lockbox. The friendly lady said that it wasn't our fault--she saw our emails that morning and she wasn't able to get the lockbox to work either. This is a broken system that needs to be fixed asap! They allowed us to shift our reservation to that day and gave us a 9:00 AM check-in to make up for it. Not the most generous offer, in my opinion, but we agreed to it. The rest of our stay at the Apache was everything our whimsical little hearts had hoped for. It's campy and kitschy, retro and funky. The s'mores by the campfire were lovely, the pool was wonderful, the bikes were super fun, the cinnamon rolls and croissants were decent, and the location itself has so much going for it. We had such a wonderful time here, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different.
