Angela Hays is an absolutely incredible professional, and she and her team are so down-to-earth. Our elopement simply would not have been the same without her. She enhanced the experience for my family and I and was able to capture the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. I can't remember the last time that I had pictures taken of me that I was absolutely obsessed with how good I looked, and she provided this for me, my husband, and our family. She was as respectful to her clients (us) as she was to mother earth. She was able to capture details that I wouldn't have thought important at the time, and in hindsight are the most meaningful photos in the album. Looking through the album she supplied makes it effortless for us to relive our special day and share the experience with the loved ones that we share our photos with. We did an 'on location shoot' as our ceremony was in a beautiful and remote location. Angela and her team were able to come to Whispering Oaks Ranch, where we stayed and got ready, and capture the most stunning getting ready photos that I have ever seen. I was originally going to opt out of getting ready photos and I am so glad that I didn't, especially having seen them now. She met us half-way to our ceremony location to make sure that we were able to find our way safely, and then was able to provide our photography and videography. She even commissioned a drone pilot and helped with the permit process. We were supposed to be married July 2020 with 174 guests. We had to cancel due to the 'Covid Cloud of Doom", as I like to refer to it as. Angela did not give up on me and was completely supportive in helping me create a plan to exceed any original expectations I had originally set. As a graphic designer I am super picky when it comes to anything that relates to art and design. The photography for my wedding was my top priority. I always joked that everything in my wedding could suck (food, music, whatever) but my photos needed to be perfect. Angela NAILED IT. She exceeding all my expectations! (Which is hard to do). Angela has an amazing eye for composition, color, and lighting. I love all of the candid moments she captured beautifully. All of the photos actually GLOW with love. She is super detailed oriented, and captured the little things (Like my husband fidgeting with his new wedding ring while the toasts were being made, and me to the side checking my lipstick off my bridesmaid phone camera). I had so much fun with her as my photographer in Arches National Park, where we were hiking and climbing onto rock formations, and under arches. She felt like an instant friend and I was super comfortable with her telling us how to pose and where to walk. She made sure no matter where we were going to, that I was comfortable with the situation (walking with my dress through rocky terrain, or next to bushes, or climbing to a certain point.). The only thing I can do this morning is look at all the photos we just got back. They are beyond beautiful! Angela was great to work with. During the shoot she was efficient and gave us good direction, made us feel comfortable the whole time, and even got amazing photos of us with our dogs, which is a whole challenge in itself, and was so important to me. She worked with us over several months, including recommending what ended up being the perfect location for our wedding ceremony (we had some family members with mobility challenges) while still incorporating the "adventure" elements we wanted before the ceremony. Angela photographed our wedding in June 2014, and we couldn't be happier with the job that she did. We are incredibly impressed with how great the photos turned out, as are our family and friends. We knew she was good just by looking at her prior work. Angela is also incredibly friendly, easy to work with and accommodating to her client's needs. She shot photos for us at *four* different locations, including one where she had to do some rock scrambling to get a specific shot and another where we had to hike in and out to get to and from the location. She was on time, prepared, quick to take photos and had excellent ideas for posing us in flattering ways. She was very subtle at the ceremony, captured every moment so beautifully.
