That does come at the tradeoff of higher costs compared to other coffee shops in the area, and a bit slower service. That makes Luce a "treat yourself" spot in my books, somewhere you go to sit and catch up with friends or get some work done to make the most of the great service.

Something about that just was not for me. Not that the gelato isn't good--it's delicious--but I don't necessarily want that in my coffee. Service was quick and the vibe is cool, but only limited outdoor seating. I will definitely come back. An employee at Lush actually recommended their shaken brown sugar espresso, so maybe I'll try that next time. Their lemonades also sound really good. Glad to have this as an option at La Encantada!

The chai tasted watered down, the coffee was ehh, and I had ordered a matcha with lavender cold foam. When I received my order, the cold foam looked like regular, white cold foam, and I just wanted to make sure it was the right flavor I ordered and when I asked, the barista stared at me and said "uh...yeah". I just smiled and said I just wanted to make sure (I've had lavender cold foam often and it always had a purple color to it, never just white). As I walked away I can hear the barista start talking about it "why do people always want to question whether the lavender cold foam is correct???" Maybe because lavender is purple? ofc I'm going to question a chocolate cold foam if it's white and not brown- same concept Wasn't a vibe

I ordered the pure matchalicous power smoothie. On the menu, it is listed as having banana, kale,…read moreagave, matcha, and coconut milk. In reality, there is no indication of matcha outside of the color. If I didn't know that there was supposed to be matcha in it, I would have attributed the color to something like kale alone. It wasn't bad, but it definitely is not what is advertised. Something I was also baffled about was the general poor service. The cashier didn't know what was in the smoothie when I made sure it was dairy free, and it was exponentially slow considering that I was the only person there. I can attribute both of those to training issues, but there's also the matter of the topic of conversation very loudly being held by the employees, which kind of ruined the vibes.
