Our BCBA, Dago is one of the most knowledgeable, hands on, over achievers we've ever had. He's willing to listen to our concerns and tries his best to address them by implementing new programs. An added bonus, he even attends our IEP's to comment on best practices associated with my child and garners insights from district representatives on successful approaches they've seen at school. Our family have been receiving services for a number of years now, we're all too aware of the difficulties in the field; however, JADE is one of our most consistent and MOST RELIABLE providers of the 3 companies we've been with! Yasmeen is extraordinarily talented, approachable, reassuring, RESPONSIVE and SINCERE! She's always responded in a timely manner and has assured us schedules are being addressed when needed. We've been lucky enough to have BTs who are consistent and if there were conflicts, we are notified in a timely manner. Consideration for our families time is never at a loss... Navigating the system is hard. Navigating the system with a provider who genuinely advocates for their clients is unheard of. This is the type of service we receive at Jade... I can't tell you the number of times I've had to speak to directors in the past regarding lapse in services, just to be told they can't support our family. Not to forget to mention the times where leads or supervisors would quote a rule, but when I would request the policy, they would back track. That has never happened here at Jade. The owner, Marlon is open and direct! If I have questions or concerns, Marlon's quick to respond and always addresses my concerns without a doubt. I undeniably wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for behavioral support for their children. Rather than you, yourself having to build rapport with the company, they actually take the initiative to build rapport with your child and family!

On multiple occasions, Teresa ignored us at check-in and check-out because she was talking on her personal phone or sometimes because she is chatting with others. She always makes us wait without acknowledgment, and when we did approach the desk, she was visibly irritated and made rude facial expressions. Worse, Teresa is always spoking loudly about other clients and their children, mocking and making disrespectful comments where everyone could hear. She was even talking incredibly loud about her own personal matters, including how she's having a baby, getting tax money, and was being mad because her baby's father gives money to his other child's mother -- all conversations we can hear in the waiting room. The last incident was especially upsetting: she openly gossiped about my niece, and her parents by name to another staff member while we were sitting right there. This made us feel disrespected and humiliated in a place where families should feel supported and safe. I want to make it clear that this type of unprofessional conduct will cost you clients and money. Families will refuse to come to a place where they feel mocked, disrespected, and gossiped about. At one point, I asked her if increasing speech therapy to twice a week would help because, as a parent, I felt his progress was slower than I expected. It's hard not to compare your child to others. Ms. Kathleen gently encouraged me to trust the process. She reminded me that he is also in OT, ABA, and daycare, and that we work with him at home -- and that too much therapy could exhaust him.
