On day 3 an interested buyer showed up and made an offer. On day 4 another buyer showed up and also made an offer. She says that it's nice that we don't have to pay for parking although everywhere else in Orange County you would have to pay for parking. I expressed my incredulity about her statement, since that was not true in my experience as an Orange County native. How hard is it to acknowledge that I never had to pay for parking for any kind of services in the OC? She just insisted I was wrong and she was right. It's amazing what the first 5 minutes in a session will tell you. To quote Maya Angelou, "when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." I will believe what I saw and experience. And do yourself a favor and believe all the bad reviews!! She claimed to be really direct but I think she's using that as a guise for her cold and standoffish personality. She didn't even seem comfortable being in the session. I came into session wondering if I could trust this person and she acted threatened by that. I'm sorry, but is this your first counseling session ever??? Isn't that a normal part of the job - dealing with clients who are a little hesitant, maybe a little distrustful of you? I don't know if she was experiencing countertransference but she was really not aligned with me at all. In fact, I felt emotionally attacked by this therapist and really unsafe. Oh, and as we were discussing our history, she stated this is not her niche, to which I asked, "what is your niche then?" And she just glared at me and said "this is not it." Lol. Lady, therapy is not your niche. Helping others this way is not your niche. I'm grateful to be in a position to recognize when a counselor is NOT trustworthy and I hope this review serves as a warning sign to others. I'm so glad to have found someone else who more honest, comfortable with herself, still very direct, but a much warmer guide in my life. DON'T SETTLE FOR JUST ANY THERAPIST - trust your gut and find one that is a good fit!!

I worked with Erika during a time in my life where I needed some guidance and felt lost on many…read moresubjects in life. I was someone who was not very spiritual, let alone seeker help through holistic means. However, over the past year I came to understand my spiritual side and knew I wanted to find a healer. I found Erika through Yelp and after researching reviews, her website, and having a free consultation I decided to book my first session. Since then I have purchased a few more sessions and also referred my sister. My sessions started with a guided meditation which felt incredible. There are thousands of guided meditations online (e.g. Youtube), but having one at the start is a session with Erika felt different and more uplifting. The sessions would consist of topics that I needed help with. The topics vary depending on the day and what I felt boiling since the last session. They consist of but not limited to life in general, personal relationships, work, past trauma, and personal development. Without getting into the details, at the end of each session, I felt like I had discovered something deep inside me that has been blocked. Erika helped extract whatever it is that has been giving me issues and provided me with guidance moving forward. She also me cut some knots that had been holding me back. Erika is very gifted at what she does. She provides a very comfortable and safe environment that allows you to share personal information that you may not share else where. All of my sessions were conducted online through zoom due to covid. I don't believe there would be a different if it was online or in person as I am still getting the same healing.
