I don't really have a comparison as this is the first chiropractor I have been to. When I first started I was in so much pain it was hard to work. Slowly but surely it is getting better. The quality of care is top notch. They take the time to go over the ex rays and have shown me the difference since I started. The office is very nice, the staff is amazing. I saw a post on Facebook for a $19 examination and thought I'd give it a try. I've been experiencing pretty severe spinal pain for quite some time. Once I had my exam I was shocked by how bad my spine really was but also how efficient the doctor was in analyzing my spine. I decided to do with the plan set for me after seeing how well organized the staff was and feeling good about the doctor's honesty on how he can help me. I don't even know where to start. I bought the new client special, not really expecting much, however I was excited to get my spine and neck checked out after a hellish pregnancy that resulted in me having to go to physical therapy for months. The first appointment was great, the personnel was friendly and I got a great deal on X-rays. I was excited to come in today to get an adjustment. I was left to sit and do nothing for almost 20 minutes as the team tried to figure out problems with their computer system. No problem, it happens. The doctor outlined my spine from the X-rays that were taken and showed me I have issues with my neck. I already knew I had problems considering physical therapy was very in depth with my issues, but it was cool to actually see it in the X-ray. The doctor sat down with me and then outlined my "care plan". 3 stages, $550 for each stage or $2500 upfront. I wanted to laugh in his face, because I can obviously afford to pay that much in 2020, even after they saw I'm on State insurance. The doctors explanation - ,"Well you can go to other places as a bandaid, or you can go here and get an ACTUAL care plan." I nearly lost it. I've been in sales for 3 years and have constantly worked with other sales professionals. I'm getting married to a man whose been in sales for even longer. The fact that a "medical" office has to resort to trying to guilt people into buying their bullsh*t is absolutely astounding to me. I should've seen the red flags the instant that I walked in and half of their staff, including the doctor, can't wear a mask correctly. read more

Money grab if I've ever seen one. Sat through 2 appointments (1 was rescheduled by them day of, then didn't get seen until 15 min after apt time). Both times would've resulted in zero adjustments if it were up to them. They finally "adjusted" me for 3 mins after I requested it. Felt very salesy - The gentleman that saw me for the 2nd apt wasn't the same person as the initial apt. They wanted 4K upfront for a "plan." DON'T waste your time with this group. In 1996, I was in an MVA which resulted in a fractured L4, shifted pelvis, a concussion and whiplash. Over the past 20+ years, I have been to several chiropractors (only changing due to relocation). In my past experience, I received careful attention to my needs and concerns every single time I received an adjustment which could be anywhere from 3 times a week to once a month. Each time, I was not rushed and each one of my doctors spent no less than 5-10 minutes with me. 2 out of the 4 chiropractors even had me get into a gown, looked over my x-rays each visit and manipulated me according to what I needed. EACH and EVERY time. After a few months, they would then re-evaluate me, advise and make another treatment plan. Dr. Gillespie is completely different. I have been going to Core Chiropractic for approx a year and a half and regret putting up with the convenience of location for that long. Core Chiropractic is like the McDonalds of chiropractic services. You badge in, they give you a number table (with no privacy), sometimes Gillespie is in the back room with another patient which means that you'll be waiting until he's done...this can be anywhere from 1-15 mins. This would not be an issue if you weren't required to make an appointment. Cutting to the chase, my biggest complaint about Core is the time that Gillespie actually spends with you. Less than a minute on average. Not even joking. This is how a regular visit goes, "How are you?" *pop, pop, pop* "Have a good weekend." That's it. No discussions about progress or what we're trying to work on. No looking at my chart or x-rays. No follow-up appointment after a year. Nothing. Just in and out. $35 for 1 minute of work (which is actually at a discount that doesn't exist anymore). When I first went in, he gave me a treatment plan and we briefly talked about goals. About a year later, I was curious on why he hadn't requested an appointment to follow up. So he agree to discuss over the phone where he basically said that there's no 'fixing' my issues, and that we were at a maintenance level now. Hmm...that wasn't what I was told in the beginning. And what had changed since the beginning when he told me that he could fix my issues? I didn't know and I don't think he knew either. I just got the feeling as if I was a nuisance for wondering about my progress. The last straw. My husband was complaining of back issues, so I reluctantly advised him to see Gillespie due to the veterans discount. He is an electrician and his job can be very physically taxing. Long story short...he said that he no longer offered the vet discount, charged us $120 for and exam/x-rays and then refused to treat him unless he signed a $1,900 treatment plan. Totally scammed us out of $120 (which he said was at a discounted rate), refused to treat and my husband went home still in pain. The next day I pulled my next three months of appointments and let them know the reason for my disappointment. Gillespie called and left me a message that sounded like a canned response as if asking for $1,900 was normal in chiropractic care - it is NOT. Despite our disappointment, there is a bright side to all of this. This last interaction with Core forced me to find better healthcare and I am happy to say that we are currently with a chiropractor that actually listens and cares about us as individuals. My husband is now in less pain and getting the treatment that he needs (without having to pay $1,900 upfront) and they are also treating me based on my specific needs, like it should be. Please don't go to this chiropractor. There are sooooo many others out there that are so much more caring, don't talk over you, listen to your needs and take the time to treat you PROPERLY. However, the reason why I am giving Core 2 stars is because if you ARE looking to get in and out, don't have any major issues and are looking for a "Drive-Thru Chiropractor," Core is your place. DO NOT go here if you actually have diagnosed medical issues and/or need TAILORED treatment. read more

I am currently in phase 1 of my treatment plan, about 2 months in. I was going to write a review from my initial visits but decided to hold off to see what progress I made so the review is useful. Although I'm only in phase 1 of my treatment, I've seen enough improvement now to share my experience. I injured my lower back in February. The pain level was the worst it's ever been by far. I've had back issues in the past, but over the years, the pain levels and the recovery time kept increasing each injury occurrence. Typically with an injury, I would experience severe pain from standing/sitting and trouble getting out of bed. This time, I even had trouble laying down, basically couldn't fully sleep for 3 days. I've been to chiropractors in the past, but never continued once the pain goes away. Knowing my existing conditions, and that it's getting worse each time it happens, I figured it was time to take it more seriously. I found Core initially due to its close proximity to me, but glad I tried it out. The process for initial visit is very similar to other ones I've been to. First visit is a general discussion about problems, then if the doctor thinks chiropractic treatment is the right option and I decide it's right also, then we proceed to the exams/x-rays. I scheduled a second visit to go over the results. I had indicated I was in severe pain and the Core team helped schedule the follow-up visit as soon as possible so the treatment can start. The follow-up review was done after typical adjustment hours which allowed for more discussion time with Dr. Gillespie. And the first adjustment was done following the exam evaluation at the 2nd visit. About 5 weeks in I was almost back to 90%. It's still a ways to go for improving my underlying conditions but taking away the immediate pain was definitely a win. Overall, I'm very happy with the experiences at Core. Dr. Gillespie's team is very friendly and helpful. I've had to make multiple last minute appointment adjustments and they were always helpful and I've never sensed any frustration/annoyance in their tone when they're dealing with my requests. My follow up questions were always answered in a timely manner. As for Dr. Gillespie, very friendly, attentive, and is willing to explain he's work so I can understand what he's doing. Progress with chiropractic care takes time, so communication is key to not lose trust in the process. Typical visits are about 10-15 minutes; a few minutes to use the stretching tools, then a few minutes on the table to relax, then the adjustment may be 1-2 minutes depending on the area. I would say the time frame is pretty typical based on my past experience. The wait time is actually less than most, but the adjustment time is pretty typical. Most days it's a quick in-and-out. Occasionally there is a slightly longer wait, but longer meaning maybe 10 minutes or so. Which for most doctor visits, that's actually nothing as a dentist visit or physician visit might have a much longer wait. When I initially researched for a provider, I noticed some reviews pointing to the adjustment time not being enough. I think that really varies by person and injury. Most of my prior experiences were about that time with other chiropractors. My experience is that healing takes time and doing something more doesn't always mean it's better. For me, the quick adjustment focusing on specific problem areas and maintaining a regular schedule seems to work great. I would definitely recommend Core. read more

Hi! So originally when I called this office I was calling because my fiancé had recently been in 2 accidents and was in a great deal of pain. I called on a Friday I believe so we knew we probably couldn't be seen by a doctor until Monday to have my fiancé adjusted. Over the phone the receptionist was extremely nice and understanding. She even expressed concern that my fiancé would have to wait a few days given how much pain he was experiencing. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for us both because I figured why not I haven't been adjusted in a while and would like to as well. We arrive on Monday and no one in this office is wearing a mask. First red flag. We expected to fill out some paper work because we were new patients. It only took a few mins. One of the receptionists walked over with Dr. Aaron to introduce him to us and he began to ask each of us a few simple questions. Before my fiancé could even answer he interrupted him. I thought to myself, "wow that was rude." Second red flag. He saw us both into separate rooms. We both waited and had our individual assessments with Dr. Aaron. While in mine (with my young 7 year old daughter) I kept thinking this is taking longer than I expected. I have been to several Chiropractor's over the years and thought I was pretty familiar with the process. After speaking with him for literally 1 min he interrupted me 3x. Asking the most ridiculous questions like "what do you envision is your goal for today when walking out of here?" Obviously it was to be adjusted. Third red flag. He leaves the room. A woman (maybe his assistant) comes in and begins again asking the same serious of questions. She tells me Dr. Aaron would be back in a few mins to finally do my exam. I thought finally omg. Once he returned he checked me out. Told me one of my legs was shorter than the other. Which made me laugh in my head because I was wearing platform vans. Like how could you know accurately how much shorter one leg is from the other with shoes on? He went on to tell me what he thought he found and began suggesting I get x-rays and once they received x-rays he would adjust me. It was then, after over an hour I realized I actually wasn't going to be getting what I came for. I told him no x-rays because I am actually pregnant. He said "oh really?" Which told me he didn't bother to read the form he had me fill out in his waiting room. I finally leave and go to find my fiancé who is sitting in the waiting room fuming. He had basically told him the very same thing about his body. We compared notes. He had come to get adjusted because HE WAS IN PAIN for days and Dr. Aaron did not help him. We were still charged $55 for basically an hour and half of nothing. No regard to the fact that we had our daughter with us or that we were actually there to have my fiancé seek treatment for PAIN. I don't know if this is normal for this office to waste peoples time and still charge them but we found a really amazing doctor a day later who saw us without an appointment. As new patients we were only there for 40 mins and we did not have to get x-rays. If you are looking for a chiropractor I'd suggest calling and asking specifically what the new patients appointment will entail. A big lesson we had to learn the hard way. My fiancé is feeling much better thanks to Dr. Ibolit Chiropractors. Ask for Nikolai he's lovely. read more

I was in a car accident in which I suffered some injuries. I had never been to a chiropractor before but knew I needed to see someone. Being in a new city, I wasn't sure where to go. I saw this place in a strip mall and walked in. They were more than accommodating to help me with an auto accident claim. I'm sure that is easy money for them. I saw checks from my insurance company to them for a lot of money were being cashed. They were very friendly and had seemed to do a lot with their marketing and vision. That was all surface. Once locked into a month long of adjustments and massage, I saw holes in their model since I'm in organizational development. Not much was explained to me after my first visits with the doctor of what was trying to be accomplished with my care. It didn't seem doctor or massage therapist were in communication about my care and needs. I was however marketed other products to purchase for why I don't know. Massages were not as relaxed as they could have been due to the close proximity to the doctors office and being within earshot of any conversations which happened frequently. Front office staff was friendly but ultimately disorganized, nor picking up messages or returning phone calls leading to several miscommunications that they still don't realize or acknowledge. So on the surface this seems like a great place, which on the front end it was since time was obviously spent planning this business, but execution was quite poor. I saw some turnover and changed during that one month that also made me curious and suspicious. Would have liked to say something to the doctor/owner but never had enough time with him to express it. read more

I was looking for a new chiropractor and walked in asking about pricing. Front desk told me $45 for adjustments, with additional consultation and x-rays cost. $45 was doable as I have no insurance and need to pay cash. It turns out that you get your first 3 adjustments for $45 if you prepay for all of them up front, then they want you to sign a year long contract to get them twice a month for $45. Otherwise its a pay as you go price for $65/adjustment. I've never had to sign a contract before and this place had so many different payment options it made my head spin. Also, adjustment tables are right near the waiting room/entrance so if you're a private person, don't expect any privacy. read more
