My family and I came to this restaurant for the first time and the service was great... until it wasn't. We ordered a tomahawk steak to share. During our meal, our waiter came by to check on us, picked up the bone from the steak, and asked if we would like more meat. He then placed it on the grill, which led us to believe he was reheating the meat still on the bone. We agreed, assuming that's what he meant.
A few moments later, several waiters and a manager returned to our table with an entirely new tomahawk steak and additional sides--none of which we ordered. We were confused, as we had not requested another steak and were no longer hungry.
When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see the extra steak included. We brought it up with the waiter, and all he said was, "Sorry for the mistake." Unfortunately, nothing further was done to resolve the situation, aside from offering us a complimentary dessert.
We feel the waiter should have been clearer in his communication and taken more accountability for the misunderstanding. The manager also made no effort to address the issue. Based on this experience, we do not plan to return.
Mi familia y yo visitamos este restaurante por primera vez y el servicio fue excelente... hasta que dejó de serlo. Pedimos un corte tomahawk para compartir. Durante la comida, el mesero se acercó a nuestra mesa, tomó el hueso del tomahawk y nos preguntó si queríamos más carne. Luego lo puso en la parrilla, lo que nos hizo pensar que solo estaba recalentando la carne que quedaba en el hueso. Aceptamos, asumiendo que eso era lo que quería decir.
Unos momentos después, varios meseros y un gerente regresaron a nuestra mesa con otro corte tomahawk completo y guarniciones adicionales, los cuales no habíamos pedido. Nos quedamos confundidos, ya que no habíamos solicitado otro platillo y ya no teníamos hambre.
Cuando llegó la cuenta, nos sorprendió ver que nos habían cobrado el segundo corte. Se lo mencionamos al mesero, y lo único que dijo fue: "Perdón por el error." Lamentablemente, no se hizo nada más para corregir la situación, aparte de ofrecernos un postre de cortesía.
Creemos que el mesero debió haber sido más claro en su comunicación y haber asumido mayor responsabilidad por el malentendido. El gerente tampoco hizo nada para solucionar el problema. Debido a esta experiencia, no planeamos regresar. read more
