The Ceviche Docena was outstanding--fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced, clearly made with top-quality seafood. The biggest surprise of the night, though, was the beef tongue taco. Wow wow wow. Incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the best tacos I've had in a long time. I would fly back just for that taco. We also tried the escamoles taco since we always like to try something new. While it was interesting and I'm glad we experienced it, it's not something I'd order again--but no regrets. OMG! The Iberico!!! Just shut up and get it. Overall, a fantastic meal with great service, beautiful ambiance, and some truly memorable dishes. Don't skip the ceviche--and absolutely do not miss the beef tongue taco.

Fantastic choice! Restaurant was full at lunchtime, although we were seated properly without a reservation. Not outside, but had an outdoor feel. Extensive seafood menu, heavily oriented toward fresh oysters, clams, and other amazing seafood, which was all presented in a fantastic manner and delicious. Anyone that thinks this place was pricey or not a winner must've had a bad experience that would've been out of the ordinary in my opinion. It's not cheap to be sure, but it was not expensive. In my opinion great quality and nice. Nice portions. We had two primary servers who are pictured in this review. Ignacio and Lalo - incredibly friendly and obviously wanted us to enjoy our meal. Made excellent recommendations definitely added to the wonderful late lunch experience. We travel a lot, and this is clearly some of the best seafood/oysters we've had in a long time.

We started with oysters, which were incredibly fresh and clean-tasting, followed by the tuna carpaccio--delicate, perfectly balanced, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The aguachile had just the right kick, bright and refreshing, and the pulpo was hands-down one of the best I've had: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We paired everything with a couple of cold beers, and honestly, the freshness of the seafood stole the show. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in quality--from the ingredients to the presentation to the service. The atmosphere is beautiful and elevated without feeling stuffy, making it perfect for both a special night out or a relaxed but memorable meal. I wanted to go back again during our trip, but they were fully booked--which says everything you need to know. Campomar is absolutely worth planning ahead for, and I'll 100% be back next time I'm in town. Campomar absolutely lived up to the hype. Seafood lovers this is the place for fresh sea food, ceviches and octopus . Valet parking is convenient.

This restaurant grounds are beautifully landscaped and even has a water feature with a koi pond. When you go inside the elegant dining rooms have a warm and classy vibe. There is even a room that looks like a reception - seating area possibly for events, or for when there is a wait to be seated. The menu is mostly seafood with many Mexican and continental classics, cold dishes like ceviche and sashimi, grilled, fried, baked, you name it... But there are also other proteins on the extensive menu such as beef. I ordered the lonja de pescado which came with salad and rice. It was excellently prepared and delicious. My friends enjoyed what they ordered as well. The service was impeccable and top-notch. For drinks I ordered a refreshing pineapple and spearmint drink (one of their aguas frescas), though they also offer soft drinks, teas, coffees, and a full bar. Just their wine list is multiple pages long. This restaurant is a chain with locations in several major cities of Mexico and is known for being among the best. This location would be appropriate for business lunches, date night, gatherings of friends and family, and large enough to handle groups and events. I will certainly remember Los Arcos next time I am in the mood for great seafood and in Mexico!

I especially loved our mojitos which had a ton of fresh fruit garnishes and ingredients. The octopus and fried chicharron taco was probably my favorite taco ever. So tasty, handmade blue corn tortilla and the chicharrones added pops of fat. The tuna sashimi dish was also excellent. I got the aguachiles tostad which was sizable and fresh though my mouth was on fire by the end. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Tropical Tuna Tostada & my boyfriend ordered 3 types of tortugas (seafood + melted cheese on a type of taco shell). The portions are HUGE and my one tostada filled me up a LOT - the combination of vegetables and tuna was very refreshing. My boyfriend's tortugas were good as well - I tried a bite of his octopus tortuga and shrimp tortuga and the shrimp one is my favorite! Be warned - it is on the heavier side though. We also ordered the Pina Colada and Sandia, which were served beautifully like in the photos. I'll be honest that Mexican food isn't my favorite type of food so I personally would rate this restaurant a 4 / 5, but they craft their drinks and plate their food with extraordinary care and detail. Customer service is a 5 / 5 and the ambiance is a 5 / 5. If you're visiting Mexico for the first time, this place was a pretty good experience for us!
